As new member of Aerosoft Forum I posted my first one on 6 September 09. Asking questions about new DiscusX product which I just downloaded. Very bitten by the FSX bug, specially gliders and sailplanes.

Have many freeware addons,usually from site of virtualsoaring(Wolfgang Piper).

I also have Condor Simulator, but with arrival of Simprobe and CumulusX it makes soaring in FSX with all the varied scenery the only sim. for me now.

Always been interested in RC modelling but my son got me into FSX which he was using as part of his

PPL training- he now has the licence.

I am male, retired, so with a good deal of time to spend with FSX . I know the sim. has its critics but with my new more powerful PC I appreciate more and more just how clever this software is!

I'd be very happy to here from fellow 'simmers', particularly anyone living near NW England.
