  1. Hi! I must use the joystock software because this is the base for the function of the airsimtech server. For this reason I have to deactivate the joysticks in the FSX menu. Thanks, Christoph

Let me put it bluntly. Choose either FBW protection or your home cockpit. it is not possible to have Bank protection when a software is interfering with my code. I will see if there's a workaround. For now, you have to use it without protections.

Excellent !! thank you so much... this is now the Airbus I was waiting for ! only one little thing : I find the bank angle protection not as good as on the Wilco one.... best regards Greg

    FBW V0.9 should be better.

Thanks a lot.. How is v0.9 progessing?

Slowly but still progressing as i am stil having exams till next week.

Hi, I fly the A320 in Brazil and if you need I can test this FBW. thanks in advance.

    Check your PM.

  2. Hi! Airsimtech has the FBW only for the PRO software included, not for the advanced one. I'll try the workaround with the patcher again, thanks! Christoph

Sorry for the late reply as my exams are still going on.

If airsimtech does not have FBW, why are you using it?

I am sure if you assign it to Default FSX controls it should work.

Nonetheless, hopefully FBW v0.9 will fix it with use of FSUIPC.

    Regards,

    Joshua Che.

    Little 'o' update:

FBW v0.9 still progressing well. After inserting a pid controller, The aircraft pitch slightly downwards when the FBW kick in at 50ft like the real aircraft!.

  3. Do you use any weather program ? or online whit weather throu the FSinn or SQbox ?

Occasionally (ASE for the matter) when i go out for a short hop. But for the most of my test flights i use the FSX static weather and do have this problem when it hits the 30.00 sometimes. If you manually adjust the QNH to 30.00 slowly without any weather you would have 29.10 the up abit more then 30.01.

  4. Thanks for your reply. I am using the airsimtech joystick software. Sorry, but I don't know what you mean with the "LH1711 callouts". Best regards, Christoph

I thought the airsimtech joystick software already include a FBW Module? If you don't know what 'LH1711 callouts" is then just try running the patcher again with FSX closed.

    Regards,

    Joshua Che.

  5. Hi Joshua!

First of all many thanks for your file. I only use the Airbus X flight model for my homecockpit and don't need the virtual panel. I have tested your file successfully, although I have disabled the joysticks in FSX because I'm using an external joystock software, but I have configured it in the Aerosoft launcher.

There are two things I don't understand:

1.: I have no bank limit protection, the Airbus can make a 360° turn.

2.: The spoilers are not visible but they are active because speed decreases.

Can you give me advice what's going wrong?

    Thanks and regards,

    Christoph

    1. What external joystick software are you using ? This should however be changed with me using FSUIPC for joystick input in v0.9.

    2. Try running the patcher again with FSX closed. This maybe because you used LH1711 callouts.

    Regards,

    Joshua Che.

  6. Hi Josh, Good luck with your end of your year finals, And thank-you for your FBW file- I love flying this plane even more now, Looking forward to your later releases. Regards, Mike.

    Thanks. Hope you enjoy it.

    conchulio :

About autobrake it seems to be stuck at RTO after takeoff. that explains why brakes are fully applied. Please try to unselect autobrake max before you retract the gear after TO.

    Research Information needed:

Any one knows the real world airbus FBW at max AOA, does the sidestick still command GLoad or AOA?

  7. To Aerosoft about the issue,

Why when creating the Aerosoft Launcher joystick config tool, did you not save the assignment to a config file and then when your AirbusX load, it reads the config file which will save all the trouble instead of reading it from FSX standard.xml?

  8. Yeah, when I use FSUIPC the thottle axis in FSX controls disappear, so FSUIPC is controlling the thottle, but when I assign the axis in FSX controls I dont know if FSUIPC still controlling the throttle, but it works with other airplanes, the prob its just with Airbus X, I uninstalled FSUIPC to see what happens but the same. Do you have any ideas?

You should try KAPTEJNLN solution. If not, Delete all asignment in FSUIPC. You might want to backup your FSUIPC4.ini first before doing that. After that, close FSX and restart your computer. After reboot, unplug your throttle and plug in your throttle. Then open FSX. Assign the throttle to FSX Default Controls (NOT FSUIPC) before flying or loading the plane. Close FSX properly (Dialog asking whether you want to exit FSX) with the X button so FSX will save the AXIS assignment. Then Start FSX again. Load AirbusX. You should be sucessful now. If no, show your standard.xml again.

BTW, system requirements of Airbus X:

Joystick with throttle (The systems expect the default FSX throttle axis to be used)

    Regards,

    Joshua Che.

  9. Wait a minute... You said the throttle was working with the default plane. How come do i not see you throttle being assigned to the throttle axis in the standard.xml. What are you using to assign your throttle?

  10. I will certainly try it out and report back if it had worked with the brake issue. Good to know that the "shivering" is infact a good sign that your fbw works :-D Cheers Conchi edit: Unfortunately, the brake issue is still there and not solvable with flaps 1 + applying full brakes. However, thats not a big deal as i can simply disable the brakes directly at touch down. Not very realistic but it works what so ever.

    Hi,

I am busy with FBW v0.9 and school end of year exams. I will look into this during my holiday.

    Regards,

    Joshua Che.

  11. I'm having the same issue that Conchulio is having, but I don't mind, this thing is flying awesome now!

Please describe your situation as well.

Joshua, i recently discovered that, after installing your latest patch, on any of my Airbus X, during the initial descend, the brakes are fully applied! There is no way to deactivate them. Whether by setting the parking breaks on and off again nor via the autobrake settings. Furthermore, somehow this issue solves another issue which came from aerosoft itself: When finally touching the ground i am now actually able to deactivate the autobrakes via my toe-brakes, which was initially not able with the default Airbus X. So by creating the issue with fully applied brakes, somehow another issue has been solved. Anyway, I did not recognized it, because i had hidden the red brakes message before. In addition, i also discovered a strange phenomenon: During my last flight to KSFO, also during decend pahse, the airplane somehow "shivered". It did not move in any direction nor did the pitch or yaw change but the whole plane "shivered" as if it had caught a cold, lol. It's not really an issue as nothing changes in terms of attitude of the airplane but it still is a bizarre behavior. Just to let you know. Anyway, the first point should be marked as an important point. Nevertheless, because of your alt. FBW this plane is a joy to fly by hand! Cheers Conchi

    1. Brakes ON Forever.

According to aersoft logic, Deploy flap 1 and press your brakes to the max will release it. I will try to see if I can solve this problem.

    2. "Shivering"

My FBW is actively triming the aircraft. Hence the shiverring. However it only occur when you have low FPS and does not happen very often.

FBW v0.9 wil fix this with a PID controller.

    Regards,

    Joshua Che.

  12. I think from here the developers have learnt the diificulty in debugging and programing in XML. Looking forward to the new autopilot coding. On that note, I wonder wherther the ND will have curved lines.

    Regards,

    Joshua Che.

  13. Hello, yes, it works with the others aircraft, default 737-747 and the payware... its just with AirbusX, i tried unplugging the pedals but nothing :( its the same, i move the throttle and it goes back to idle... I have AirbusX since a year ago... i used it before and no problems, so i had to uninstall it and when installed again i got this

I had this problem before i think i reinstalled windows or uninstalled some windows update ...BTW when you move the throttle forward, do you here the usual thrittle detend sound? oh and can you try uninstalling the device and its drivers? if you do not know how to do that, I will post a guide for you. I think uninstalling and reinstalling device driver should fix it.

    Regards,

    Joshua Che.
