  1. Nice. But can you also make it in the original colors?
  2. Emirates, please A6-EKY Photo: Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emirates_fleet#/media/File:Airbus_A330-243,_Emirates_AN1758612.jpg)
  3. And theres no upgrade path from the old version to the new one?
  4. So which version do I have? The FSX version or the P3D version? Because mine lets me install on all. I assumed that since I have the P3Dv4 version that I would be able to get the P3Dv5 version. Is that not the case?
  5. Hello, I have Lukla X in my account, but I can only find version 2.30. The installer only lists up to P3Dv4 but there is no P3Dv5 option even though Lukla appears in the list of compatible scenery for P3Dv5. Is the updated installer still making its way out?
  6. Sorry for the delay in response. I haven't had the time unfortunately to fly the A330 again to check the weather source, but I dont remember selecting a source manually, I left it in the default state, but I use ActiveSky. I will be able to check and report back this Thursday. I was on version 1.0.0.2 when the CTD occured. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one facing the self-test issue I guess. Looking forward to the fix, or even better, no CTD's! XD
  7. That can't be right, you should be able to change your username in Windows 10 Home. Try following this guide: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/change-account-name-windows-10/
  8. I have a multi-display setup, one display for the flight sim and the other for ProjectFly, Navigraph charts, AS etc. When I click away from the simulator, the sim sounds mute, as is the usual behavior, but when clicking back, sounds return, except for the engine sounds. Engine sounds return for the first few times (maybe 10-20 click in's and out's), but eventually, the engine sounds never return.
  9. Just doing my first flight on the A330 Pro and faced a CTD shortly after T/D while I inputted the weather information in the FMCG. What's worse is that when I restored the FSUIPC save flight, all the displays remained in the "Self Test In Progress" state and wouldn't come out of it. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. Running P3Dv4.5HF2 and I restarted immediately after installing the A330.
  10. I pre-ordered both on the Aerosoft Store. Im so excited for them! Last estimate was March 2019 but I guess there were some delays. Hopefully not too long now.
  11. I recently built a PC dedicated to flight sim. Below are the main specs and why I chose them. CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K. P3D and its ESP engine still relies primarily on single-core performance. It will use more cores obviously, but the speed of the first core is still what dictates performance. So I went with the 9700K over a Ryzen CPU (which I use on my main desktop). GPU: Asus RTX 2070 Strix. The only reason I went with RTX was because this card is new, and priced reasonably. It performs identically to the 1080 Ti in P3Dv4 (I have both cards). Also in the event that Lockheed adds RTX support to the sim, I'll be ready. RAM: I started with 16GB 3200MHz RAM. That was a mistake. I use A LOT of add-ons; scenery, aircraft, enhancements etc, and 16GB was not enough for me. I had some stuttering issues when changing views. So I upgraded the RAM to 32GB 3333MHz and now everything is smooth. SSD: 2x Samsung 970 EVO nvme in RAID 0. Another thing that P3D loves is fast storage, especially if you use a lot of add-on scenery. To avoid textures loading in late with those terrible black boxes, you'll need an SSD. Admittedly, it's a bit overkill to put two nvme drives in RAID 0 but damn are they fast. Orbx TrueEarth scenery is very intensive yet I have no black boxes, and loading speeds are significantly improved. These components give me around 60-80 fps stable with settings not fully maxed out, but close. I can finally keep Dynamic Lighting on and not worry about FPS drops. Btw, I run the sim on a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor. This should give you an idea of the components you need to get the most out of P3Dv4. I hope it helps.
  12. Could someone make a Gulf Air repaint please? PS: Shouldn't there be a proper repaint request forum rather than just a single thread? It's much harder to keep track of whats being worked on the way it is now.
