Recently we have seen a lot of codes used to unlock our products being offered for discounted prices. Almost all of them are bought using stolen credit cards. These codes will all be blocked by our systems and you will have to try to get your money back from the seller, we are unable to assist in these matters. Do be very careful when you see a deal that is almost too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

  1. I pre-ordered both on the Aerosoft Store. Im so excited for them! Last estimate was March 2019 but I guess there were some delays. Hopefully not too long now.
  2. I tried this but actually prefer how it looks by default. I think the darker footwells look more realistic as they are under a shadow. It looks like the time of day is set to noon so the sun is directly above the plane and the cockpit is in its shadow. So unless the dome lights are on then it shouldn't be as illuminated as it is in the "fixed" image. This all depends on lighting and light sources of course, but I'll be keeping mine how it is. Just a matter of taste I guess.
  3. I recently built a PC dedicated to flight sim. Below are the main specs and why I chose them. CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K. P3D and its ESP engine still relies primarily on single-core performance. It will use more cores obviously, but the speed of the first core is still what dictates performance. So I went with the 9700K over a Ryzen CPU (which I use on my main desktop). GPU: Asus RTX 2070 Strix. The only reason I went with RTX was because this card is new, and priced reasonably. It performs identically to the 1080 Ti in P3Dv4 (I have both cards). Also in the event that Lockheed adds RTX support to the sim, I'll be ready. RAM: I started with 16GB 3200MHz RAM. That was a mistake. I use A LOT of add-ons; scenery, aircraft, enhancements etc, and 16GB was not enough for me. I had some stuttering issues when changing views. So I upgraded the RAM to 32GB 3333MHz and now everything is smooth. SSD: 2x Samsung 970 EVO nvme in RAID 0. Another thing that P3D loves is fast storage, especially if you use a lot of add-on scenery. To avoid textures loading in late with those terrible black boxes, you'll need an SSD. Admittedly, it's a bit overkill to put two nvme drives in RAID 0 but damn are they fast. Orbx TrueEarth scenery is very intensive yet I have no black boxes, and loading speeds are significantly improved. These components give me around 60-80 fps stable with settings not fully maxed out, but close. I can finally keep Dynamic Lighting on and not worry about FPS drops. Btw, I run the sim on a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor. This should give you an idea of the components you need to get the most out of P3Dv4. I hope it helps.
  4. Could someone make a Gulf Air repaint please? PS: Shouldn't there be a proper repaint request forum rather than just a single thread? It's much harder to keep track of whats being worked on the way it is now.
  5. Ok so I managed to get it working again by restarting between installs. These are the steps I took, maybe it helps someone in the future: 1) Uninstall the airport using Settings - Apps & Features 2) Restart Windows 3) Delete the old installer 4) Either download the installer again, or if you have the ZIP file, extract again, and install. 5) Start P3D and let it generate new scenery Thankfully this got it to work again for me. Happy flying
  6. Copy the SODE folder to the main installation directory and run the BAT file. I thought it wasn't related as well but that was just the sequence of events. I installed the scenery first, tested it, it worked fine, then closed the sim, did the sode patch, and when I loaded it again the airport stopped loading. What could be the reason behind the missing scenery, even after an uninstall/reinstall? Could it still be because of the priorities in the scenery library? There is a SIMWINGS_LIB entry that I'm not sure where it should be, it is currently priority 35. Attached a screenshot of my scenery library and also the cfg file. scenery.cfg
  7. Hello, I installed the SODE patch but now when I load the airport, only the jetways and runways show but nothing else, no aprons, no terminals. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the scenery but it didnt work. I made sure the priority is the highest in the Scenery Library. Not sure what it causing this. My other installed airports work fine. I also ran the Orbx Vector Elevation fix but nothing seems to change. Any help appreciated
  8. I was just trying it out on multiple gates, it seems to work on some, but not in others. Even if it was working on a gate with AI aircraft, I switch to that same gate, but it doesnt work on my aircraft. Then I switched to a gate with 3 jetways, one of them works. Very strange. But anyways, I guess I will just note down a gate that works and always use that, for departures at least.
  9. Thank you for clarifying Oliver! The batch file said that sode is activated. But in the sim I still get the error that the plane is not in a parking space...
  10. I have the latest version of Heathrow Professional (1.10) running on P3Dv4.3. I also have GSX Level 2 installed, also updated. When I select Operate Jetways in the GSX menu, I get a warning saying that the airplane must be at a gate to operate the jetway. But the jetway connects to AI aircraft so I'm surprised why it doesnt work on my aircraft (Qualitywings 787 and PMDG 777). I tried downloading the SODE Jetway files from the sim-wings website but I don't understand the instructions: "1) Copy the Subfolder SODE below the "Mega Airport London Hearthrow Professional" Folder of the Scenery Addon" Does it mean I add the SODE folder in the downloaded ZIP to the Scenery Library list in the simulator menu? Because I couldn't find a "Scenery Addon" folder anywhere in the installation files. I'm very confused. Could someone please help? Much appreciated, Fahad
  11. I am having issues controlling the thrust of the A320/A321 Pro using an Xbox One controller in P3Dv4.3. After pushback is complete, I press the Y button to increase thrust, but nothing happens. The thrust levers do not move and thrust does not increase. I found out that I can press the B button to put the reverse thrust on and that works. After that, I can press Y to increase the thrust, but again, the thrust levers do not move even though there is an increase in thrust. This becomes a problem when I am on the runway. I can increase the thrust to full, but because the thrust levers are not in the TOGA position, the green bar is still asking me to "set takeoff thrust" and nothing progresses from there. I have checked the thrust lever setup guide and followed its instructions, and read the weird and wonderful logic documentation because I thought maybe this is an "Airbus thing", but it says that during taxi, the thrust levers act normally, so I'm not sure whats wrong. Any help appreciated.
  12. I'm trying to download the A320/A321 Professional, but it is extremely slow. I have a 50mbps connection and the download is set to complete in 5 and a half hours from this server: as-asien.s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com. I'm guessing the servers are flooded and if so, is there an alternative way to download? Torrent for example? Thanks, Fahad
  13. Hey everyone, could someone make a SalamAir repaint for the A320 please? https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/8813865
