  1. Anyone?

I think you'll have to contact the bank with the info Aerosoft provides (bankaccount maybe bic/swift number) and ordernumber so they can trace you as buyer. After you transferred the money, and Aerosoft received it you'll get it in the downloadshop.

Question; do you, by any chance, have a card that support ideal? (It's a payment method) That is supported by simmarket, it takes you to your bank, you pay (similar to paypal) and will be linked back to the shop. It is instant, bank transfer takes till money is confirmed.

  2. I don't think you can find those names in FSX itself. But why bother when you can simply enter the frequency...?

you can :) The 3 letter indentifier shows in the fsx map. click on the airport and all runways including ils freq and identifier are listed as well as the runways without. If you hover the mous over the green ils "beam" on the map you see them too.

  3. Well, I have the same problem, but I do have a joystick with axis and rudder. At some airports it does not work. The N1 will not rise and is set to idle, whenever I move the axis.

    Martin

I don't see how it is airport related though. If it works at some and at some it don't there might be something else wrong.

  4. Yes of course, if I use the freq. + course, I understand how it works. Thats just like the default planes. I mean how the plane knows the runway and ils freq. from a 3 letter abbriviation.

the 3 letter abbriviation is stored in the database of the mcdu, and unique to the runway it is connected to. The same way the computer know ESSA is Arlanda or EGCC is Manchester

  5. Hallo,

when I change the aircraft for example from LH to Niki, my FSX crashes (only with Airbus X).

    What can I do?

    Thank you for you help

    Hello,

This is one of the bugs we saw during testing, but don't have an answer to (yet) It seems to be something deep inside fsx but it's something Aerosoft is going to continue to try to solve.

  6. Good morning,

After buying this bird last night and "trying" to even move around the airport it seems as though my throttles are stuck, Im NOT using a joystick or anything every time I press F3 to advance the throttle to taxi, the moment I let the key go the throttles go right back to Idle (i can't even arm the speed brake because of this)

And also when manually selecting the heading and speed, I read that you have o use the mouse wheel??

What about us who use laptops and dont have a mouse??

At the moment I have a static A320 on the ground (which looks really good by the way) But it does belong up thatta way!!

    Regards

    Josh

  7. Isiah , if there's no problem what iis your post about ? There are also screenshots of aircraft with doors , wheels missing .

Aerosoft also stated that they want to release the paints by area ( with an istaller ) , so will wait until then . Cannot try the paints myself in the release version because I didn't buy it .

    John

The post you referred to that I linked is about the load manager not recognizing some aircraft. This solved it.

The screen shots with doors missing is not a common problem, only a few had it and I don't think it is even the bus that is the problem. :)

  8. To enter the ILS freq, I have to know the right 3 letters, and these goes into the FMC.

But how do I know what letters to use?

    Ex: ENGM 19R.

And how can I enter the ILS freq. manually?

The 3 letters for ILS for ENGM 19R are GSW freq 111.30

If you go to the RAD NAV page yoy can either enter GSW, the freq will then be selected automatically, and as soon as your within distance it will pick up on the ILS.

you can also enter the freq. Once the LOC is alive you will see the freq and GSW in your ND

The ILS you can find on charts ( Pfd link http://www.vaccsca.org/uploads/ENGM.pdf ) or even pull up the map inside FSX and go to your aiport, click on it and look at the runways.

  9. I will write more later. Got my joystick today and actually flew Airbus X all day practing take-off runs. Perfect. It operates VERY smoothly indeed. VR Rotate etc are spot on. For me, climb is real and steady and wonderful. This aircraft is amazing. The sounds and the VC really make it enjoyable, but the flight char thus far are awsome and truly makes it worthwhile! My only gripe is I cannot fly over m .70 full thrust at cruise? I will write a full review once I have more of a chance with it, but so far after 1 day of flying and 1 day of tweaking it seems well worth the wait and i am a happy camper:))))

    Nice to hear that Simon.

  10. Hello there... finally got me hands on Airbus X to find that the thottle will not move.

I am currently using XP SP3, FSX SP2 no acc. And a plane old mouse with mouse wheel.

I should point out that the mouse wheel moves the throttle for all other aircraft but not this one. I tried F3 and F4 but it just idles when i let go which simply cannot work. (Press and hold it goes to full throttle, release and it idles).

What do i have to do to be able to use throttle. Ive heard people talking about throttle configuration but i have no idea what this means or what i have to do.

The throttles of the airbus only work if you assign them to an axis of a joystick. Something most sticks have nowadays. F-keys wont work with the FADEC module.

  11. But my question is, I thought I read in the forums that it was possible to walk around the plane. How can I do that?

    Thanks for the answer,

    Peter

I think you read a pilot answering he only sees the wings when he does his walk around. It was mentioned in the wing-flex controversie

  12. Because when i adress "rudder" instead of "aileron" in FSX control/calibrate meny, the nosewheel and rudder moves, but not the aileron, so when in the air i can not control the plane like it is supposed to.

    Best Regards

    Per

You might have answered your own question. It's the combination of ailerons and rudder that makes that it doesn't work for you. I have my rudder assigned to the z-axis of another controller and it works. I also use a ch-yoke (till my stick arrives)

  13. Good evening, I have a problem with the fmc I hope you can help me, is there any way to put the fmc runway and landing on arrival I have not seen anything in the manual and also I have not seen in the drawing display the runway I see a *, I attached a photo to see the problem, I hope you can help me.

    Regards,

    Hello Ruben,

the pic shows you in nav mode, if you want to see the ils you need to switch the button to ILS, enter the freq or symbols into the mcdu on the radnav page and click the LS knob.

If you mean you want to enter a runway into the mcdu, that is not possible
