I can't turn off detail in schipol. If i move the scenery density slider below DENSE, there's no taxiway lights at night. (=taxiways cannot be seen) I'm saying schiphol reduces FPS so much that I can't use any other addons with it. I'd rather have schipol be of less detail so I can run it with my addons.

So lets see: -5 fps traffic, -4fps PMDG 737. That's 15fps. Add REX and there you go, 10 fps - unplayable. I'm not asking for an INCREASE in detail. I said make an option in the install for SIMPLE or COMPLEX install (or something) so my EHAM will run better without all the ground detail etc. (I'd rather have 20fps and less detail!)

Indeed you're probably just using default cessna....

Thanks for the explanation, however you're running with clear skies or it seems you're not even using REX (must have addon for all simmers). This way I can also get 20fps. It would be nice to allow users to choose between high performance and high quality upon install. I don't care if there's less objects or gutters around taxiways. I just want a better and more realistic EHAM than the default FSX

fsx: dreadful FPS

I'm also experiencing very low FPS in EHAM. Normal add-on scenery i'm at 20fps (locked at 20fps externally). In EHAM I experience 12fps while at gate G heavy.

As always.. postponing a release isn't THAT bad... UNLESS customers are not being informed. If the actual developers would take 5min to post here with "the release is delayed due to the bugs found in the FS2004 version, ETA: 3 weeks" nobody would really care about the delay.

Hm i'm not sure..it's not that the runway looks aweful, it's just that it hasn't been updated with the REX runway unlike all others. It's either using it's own texture or the default FS runway, for some reason Walter

Hi, I have REX installed which installs some awesome runway texture. The textures work fine and runways (and taxiways) look awesome ..except for the runway on madeira. (yes i have aerosoft madeira installed ). Now I suppose this is because aerosoft madeira has its own runway textures? Or is it because of another problem? Any idea's how to fix it? Thanks, Walter

Orrrrr wait for NL2000 V4 which will be released soon NL2000 Version 3.0 requires Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and is not compatible with Microsoft FSX.

Thanks, makes sense..still that would require me to switch airports after loading the save.. Also it doesn't explain why the masterswitch on the hughes doesn't work, even though the manual states that the avionics button = master switch Walter
