Someone remind me - where do I know the name Mungo Amyatt-Leir from ? Its a familiar name from way back, but I just can't place him with anything.
That aside, looks like a good time was had by all - even Sascha Baumhoer managed a smile !

Great video! What are your computer's specs, Huascar ? I have a reasonably high end computer and Fly Tampa's Hong Kong, so I would be interested to know.
-
Excellent pictures, Yo Yo. The H-1 has been on my 'maybe' list for some time.

Happy Birthday Aerosoft. I hope the company continues in its success over the next 20 years and beyond.
-
My system is coming up to two years old, and I intend to upgrade the video card and maybe double the memory in the next couple of months. Two years hence...a new system maybe ?

No theme is never a bad idea for a theme. ( I think that makes sense...not sure. )
An old shot, but the desert dusk colours complimented the PMDG in-house livery - something I didn't realise at the time.
-
Now that is one great FSX video ! Thanks for posting it, Huascar.

I love reading stuff like this. Recently, a friend on another forum documented his journey to obtaining a PPL, lesson by lesson right through to passing his GFT in Australia.
Richard, hugely interesting and I hope you'll add to it, maybe when you have an interesting experience and something out of the ordinary ( perhaps I should not wish 'interesting' or 'out of the ordinary' upon a pilot ! )
By the way, what you said about simmer's obsession with 'cold and dark' made me chuckle. PMDG pretty much said the same about their MD-11's saved-panel states.
Looking forward to reading more, and well done young man on having the gumption to follow your dreams !!

Needs to be on your Immediate Purchase List
Along with a hundred other add-ons !

Thanks Matt and Ole. I'll put Andras back on my 'definitely maybe' list.
-
Just changed mine to this:
Mathijs was in my local pub the other night and promised me it would be the next Aerosoft aircraft add-on ...and then the alarm clock sounded and I woke up.
-
I'm not sure I follow whats going on with Andras Field - maybe someone could explain it to me.
I considered getting it, but the uncertainty over whether I would be able to buy a plot and have a 'home' put me off. I didn't want to own Andras and not be part of it, so I didn't bother.
So, what is the situation now ? You say the last plots are gone - so, other than it being a very good scenery product, what is the incentive to buy it ? And, if people can sell their plots, is it handled by an 'estate agent' with a waiting list of people wanting to buy ?
Regards
Paul

My goodness, some great shots appearing in this one !

Thanks Goof, thats just about what I was going to tell him.

You mean, where is the weather radar on the MD-11 ?

Good evening everyone.
A week ago I purchased the product from the PMDG MD-11.
In my experience that my uncle pilot flying the plane I got a chance to see the cockpit of a plane is where I saw Rather the clouds. I looked everywhere for the simulator and looking for videos, and just could not find this Ipoh. Misha please tell me Ipoh and how to operate it with him?
Roeix, your English is very difficult to understand. What is the problem you have with the MD-11 ?

By the way folks, if you are looking for a good desktop background site, try this one;
A huge selection, and in just about every size you can think of, Ipads Iphones and net books included.
I have a feeling this site might have been mentioned on the Aerosoft forums before.
-
I'm following this with great interest. If it can develop into having the sat nav and autopilot on Ipad too, I would find it hard to resist buying one. Keep going, guys.

Yes, it was on the ground, but up on jacks. She was posted to 24 Squadron at the time, which operated VIP transport aircraft for such people as Churchill, Montgomery, Alan Brooke and so on. She slipped on something while exiting the plane. Quite nasty, and suffered extensive external and internal bruising. She cant remember the serial number, but says it might have been MW100, which is now represented at Cosford by the ex-Skyfame example TS798/G-AGNV.
A sprightly 85 year old now, and sharp as a razor!

My mum fell out of one of those when she was a WAAF.

Here's mine. Various shortcuts to the left, FSX-specific at top centre, repainting projects and tools to the right, all against Hong Kong.
-
Three great shots, but that second one could be a photo of the real thing.

Ole, I'm glad someone has marked his passing here. Columbo was unlike any detective that had come along before. Rest in peace, Peter Falk.

Great video !

Thanks for that Shaun. Its a distinctive name, and it rang several bells from my early flight simming days. Nice to see him still around and involved.
