No, as we are not the publisher of those products.

I see, but this policy of how the products are distributed, somewhat hamperns the experience of buying products from Aerosoft. The same products can be acquired from Microsoft Marketplace Store or ORBX, without any other tedious custom installation procedures. At these shops FranceVFR and FSDG products are packaged in a 'native way'. As I don't know what policies that might be involved, I understand that this might be difficult to address, but a stop-gap, maybe Aerosoft could consider to make a list with only the 'unsupported' products when you press the button for downloading products not supported by Aerosoft One, from the Aerosoft One library tab? Currently you only get sent to the regular unfiltered download/product list, where all downloads are listed.

It looks amazing. Is there any plans to allow for configuring the scenery like you just did with Berlin Brandenburg? Feels a little off asking if interiors can be turned off after seeing the work put in, but if it's anything like Brussels then my pc will really struggle.

Where do you find customization settings for Berlin Brandenburg?

30% of our support was about installers, serial codes, where to find updates etc. That is now down to 3%. Means hundreds of customers NOT having issues.

...but are you not able to push all the products you sell to Aerosoft One genuine support? As an example, FranceVFR and FSDG...

I'd go the other way: I much prefer to install stuff myself rather than have to rely on any number of different launchers and installers, including several that just start each other. I'm sure it's handy for inexperienced users but at least always give the option for a full manual install.

Everything about my systems is custom, including the directories where things have to go. Automated installers tend to fail in such a scenario as all too often they have no way to detect properly where things are to go they get it wrong. Heck, I have both XP11 and XP12 installed and frequently automatic installers find either neither or they find the wrong one.

In my view. You sounds like the opposite of an experienced user. Custom everything is asking for trouble, or at least additional unnecessary workload and general QA-problems. Aerosoft One is a perfectly fine product, the problem I'm raising are some of the products Aerosoft sell use their own installers with their own serial code system.  If this is what you are referring to, then I agree with you, it's better to be able to download a folder and drop it into your Community Folder yourself, and this is basically what Aerosoft One does, however it also takes care of your licenses and automatically updates your files and folders when there are updates available, and you can buy a new product directly from the app, and it's automatically installed.

  5. And problem persist if you remove all other addons in your community folder?

Sorry, just referring to this other thread and the fact that you seem to be listing another addon by: https://flightsim.to/profile/EDDB2020/uploads ,

and then there was this other user who demanded Aerosoft to fix flying people at EBAW, even though he could confirm it was caused by another addon he just did not want to spend time to find which one. EBAW floating people were as far as I know confirmed to be caused by another addon. Don't know if Aerosoft made some exclusions or whatever...

  6. shocking... in another thread with floating people, the op mentioned several addons that are not particular compatible with current, or for that matter the last few, MSFS builds... makes me wonder, do people just dump addons into their community folder without any quality assurance or rememberence of what areas they affect? the last floating person op also demanded Aerosoft to fix his issue, even though he knew it was caused by another addon...

If you search this topic, you will see it has been discussed a few times. The issue is that the sim does not offer the animation we need, so we have to link animations (nothing new there, FSX and P3D had the same) and we think it looks okay. We have not yet tested the damping, but with input from our pilots, I have little doubt we can get that correct.

Any chance of Aerosoft working directly with Asobo to get the wheel physics correct down the line? Seems like they are working on updating the ground dynamics...The A330 is in an interesting case. Would be cool if it were all simulated and not animated.

  8. I doubt that it would or should work, but I'll give it a try. But regarding the main question, how come the FSDG landmark sceneries and FranceVFR products are not using Aerosoft One, when they integrate with other publishers installers...?

  9. Can you please try to prioritise moving more of the products you sell to this platform (Aerosoft One)?

Reason for nagging: Just had an involuntary deletion of the Community Folder, for me at least, the most annoying products to manually install are the ones from FSDG and FranceVFR, as they are available with automatic installers on other platforms.

Also, I bought one product directly from a developer at one point, but I see now that their product is also available on Aerosoft (even supporting Aerosoft One), would it be possible to let users move over to the Aerosoft plattform with a proof-of-purchase?

  10. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/global

    Adjective[edit]

global (comparative more global, superlative most global)

Concerning all parts of the world. "Pollution is a global problem."

(not comparable) Pertaining to the whole of something; total, universal: Of a variable, accessible by all parts of a program.

Global variables keep support engineers employed.

    :)

I would try to remove any global airport modification you've added to your community folder. Anything that could affect airports on a global (or regional) scale. There seems to be many such addons, both payware and freeware. And it's obviously something you've installed that cause the issue according to the developer. So I think it would be very much appreciated if you could find what addon that makes the conflict.

  11. Yes, so if Simple Traffic is able to populate the world with airliners that look like they belong there, without a custom traffic system, install and forget, as the product emphasis, maybe it could utilise the models from FS Traffic instead of the Simple Traffic liveries for the default AI-plane(s)? Just a thought, and I would guess most of the development cost of Simple Traffic is the production of liveries that would not be needed for such a use case? Maybe it has no commercial interest for Aerosoft, but just a thought... if it could work.

We have zero doubt that this airport will sell very well. Just look at the screenshots. While the OrbX version looks great, I think Jo adds another layer of detail.

I very well understand that you need to make your own airports and have your own portfolio, and some times partnering companies also need to compete. Can't say I enjoyed the move ORBX did when becoming more of a publisher with pretty low quality standards regarding some of their products though.

I feel Aerosoft is more consistent, but you need to push FranceVFR and FSDG into your Aerosoft One app. :) The ORBX App is one of their strengths. Anyways, sorry for dragging off topic.

Personally, I'll wait and buy the one that offers the best FPS. After adding some traffic to my sim, my skills at landing in bad weather with strong winds, gusts and turbulence has been greatly hammered by going from smooth 50 to 60 FPS to mid 30 to 40. So not really sure what my solution to this would be, maybe hang around in virtual bars at airport terminals drinking away the memories of the past. I used to be a good pilot.

...I often end a flight by going into drone mode and start exploring the airport in the same way I would have been IRL. Doing this and finding the same amazing detail in the interior, watching people walking around inside the terminal etc is actually super cool IMO!

So again, I do see where you're coming from because I was there myself in the past but with the technology we have available to us today, ...

I'm actually horrified by reading this, and realise what a big mistake I did by jumping back into this hobby. It also makes the age old question relevant... is technology good for you?

Don't let Zuckerberg know that someone manage to make a metaverse 'mall' that people actually enjoy to be in.

  14. Hi, a question for Mathijs perhaps;

I read on the forums to FSTraffic that there is a lot of issues regarding their system for ingesting traffic, although nothing but praise given to the wast highly efficient airplane model library they've built.

Would it be possible to combine the two products? Maybe you could sell a cheaper version of Simple Traffic without the models for us who would like to combine the packages? Without knowing the inner workings of MSFS traffic system, I would guess that it could be the best solution possible at the moment for offline AI traffic?

problem is, frequency info for all runways  is empty when airport is loaded, eg in the G3000 with the TBM930. therefore any automatic ILS nav1 frequency selection does not work

i  have to select nav1 ils frequency manually, then ILS works fine.

Looking forward to an update. But if you fly any cockpit that use Navigraph data, I don't think this will affect you. On the other hand, the new impressive default aircraft with updated avionics by WT are really impressive, so looking forward to an update.

    @Mathijs Kok

There have been some talk and some updates regarding this issue in the last couple of months, regarding different airports. Would be great with an official forum post about the issue and what airports are affected. Personally, I would like to learn to fly with the Garmin suited aircraft properly, and knowing that there might be some issues here and there with the scenery put some unnecessary stress/overhead in these limited hobby sessions.
