Ja ist bei mir genauso. Beides zu nutzen ist bringt Abwechslung, und beides hat seine Vor und Nachteile. Derweil kann man bei Nutzung von GSX die Parkposition so wählen, dass es keine Probleme gibt, also z.B. B2 statt B1 (diese wäre zu nah am Terminal, sodass es verschwindet).

Ich habe noch das Problem, dass jedesmal wenn ich GSX aktiviere Gebäude verschwinden (nicht alle).
Wenn ich dann über den AS Addon Manager neu Initialisiere werden die Gebäude wieder neu aufgebaut.
Nicht dramatisch, nervt aber ein wenig, ist evtl. aber auch eine Frechheit von mir GSX auf einem AS Airport zu benutzen..

Selbes Problem habe ich auch. Habe zwar auch AES freigeschaltet, aber da unrealistischerweise immer der Pax-Bus ankommt, würde ich doch lieber GSX nutzen..

Hi,
ich weiß nicht ob es hier schonmal aufkam: an manchen Airports kommt ein Paxbus angefahren, obwohl die Passagiere hier per Pedes zum Flieger kommen würden (aktuelles Beispiel: Hahn). Kann man das irgendwie unterbinden, eine Option einfügen oder das gleich realistisch, Flughafenabhängig gestalten?

Es sollte dafür mittlerweile ein Update geben. Alternativ kannst Du erstmal den FS mit einem anderen Flugzeug als der PMDG starten und dann, wenn alles geladen ist zur NGX wechseln. Dann gehen auch die Gebäude.

..und damit es nicht jeder Nutzer editieren muss, vor allem wenn er sich nicht so gut auskennt, dachte ich dass es ggf eingepflegt werden könnte, da es Szenerieseitig schnell gemacht ist. Wie ich es selbst hinbekomme weiß ich wie gesagt.
Mit ADE geht es NICHT. Die Parkposition muss den Flag "Pushback Direction" gesetzt bekommen (left/right/both/none), was hiermit nicht geht. Scheinbar stehts in Hahn auf 'none', daher kein Push mit GSX möglich. Gleiches Problem hatte ich z.B. in der bekannten Neapel-Freeware.

Ich weiß dass man es selber machen kann. Allerdings muss ich das für jede Parkposition einzeln machen, wenn ich drauf stehe. Das im Afcad zu editieren dauert grad mal 5 Minuten.
Zudem hatte ich grade das Problem, dass die Anpass-Funktion im GSX Menü nicht auftauchte, da muss ich aber nochmal schauen warum.

Neben dem Problem, dass trotz korrekter Aktivierung in Verbindung mit der NGX keine Gebäude angezeigt werden, habe ich noch eine Bitte.
Ich habe zwar auch AES für Hahn aktiviert, allerdings möchte ich im Nachinein lieber GSX nutzen, weil mir der Push und der schönere Abfertigungsverlauf besser gefällt und es zudem eine schöne Abwechslung ist. Da es in Hahn keine Paxbrücken gibt, ists das ja auch kein Nachteil.
Ich kann jedoch nicht pushen, da hier für die Parkpositionen im Afcad scheinbar keine Push-Richtung definiert ist. Im Prinzip bräuchtet Ihr da bloß ein Häkchen setzen und alles wäre schön. Eine zusätzliche Vorbereitung für GSX (Pushrouten) wäre zwar traumhaft, aber ich denke das wird hier aus nachvollziehbaren Gründen (AES) nicht passieren.

Ja alles bestens. Es sagt mir auch alles, es sei aktiviert.
Jetzt gerade habe ich es wieder irgendwie hinbekommen dass alles angezeigt wird.. ich hab die Vermutung dass es mit der NGX zusammenhängt, das muss ich aber erst noch testen.

Ja. Ich habe z.B. auch das Parkhaus. Aber eben die anderen Gebäude nicht.

Schön, dass Hahn X und der Installer so ausführlich getestet wurden.
Ich jedenfalls habe weder Tower, noch Hangars oder Terminal. Aktivierung war jedoch erfolgreich und wird im neuen FSX-Menüpunkt grün angezeigt. Per Launcher deaktiviert, und auch per Launcher wieder aktiviert, das Problem bleibt und zusätzlich ein fetter roter Text in der Szenerie, der besagt ich solle zunächst aktivieren. Nach dem Start des FSX-Menü-Programmes und Schließen desselbigen verschwindet zumindest der Text, aber Gebäude habe ich immernoch nicht.
Edit: Irgendwie habe ich es hinbekommen. Manuell aus der Bibliothek entfernt, wieder hinzugefügt, deaktiviert, wieder aktiviert, irgendwie gehts jetzt. Mit den alten Aktivierungen hatte ich nie solche Probleme.
Edit 2: Nach FS Neustart wieder keine Gebäude. Problem also doch nicht gelöst.

Well, that's exactly what is posted every week since 4 weeks now. Instead of always saying 'next week'- when everyone is waiting, waiting, checking homepage every few hours, they should just state: We got unexpected problems, so no date release now, we will inform you when there is a fixed release date you can count on. Everyone would know what's up and understand. But not 'next week', 'last tests, next week' etc..

at mid-January the announcement, then at 8 February last pic´s before release and now, 3 weeks later, nothing to see here. That shows once again that aerosoft in marketing still needs to learn more. Maybe it´s better to say nothing and announce the release when I´m sure that it works! That also might prevent disappointment and permanent expectations

Nice, but in my eyes alternate or mindfactory are far too expensive. The SSDs would be much too small for my needs, even a 300GB wouldnt do, so I went for a 500GB HDD just for FSX. You should look at hardwareversand.de, even with sending all the stuff into the netherlands it should be way cheaper.

Well the main aspect for me is the price. For 30€ I get the whole world with GSX, or 2 credit packs for maybe 10 airports with AES, with the need to buy those airports first as an addon. Of course AES is more realistic especially when it comes to airport specific procedures like push-in at EDLW for example.. I'm eager to see what the future brings now.
Edit: After some testing with my FSDT airports I must say: Great product. But not finished in my eyes.. seems to be usual for many software products nowadays. What I really like against AES is moving wheels and turning nosewheel on pushback, the marshaller with more natural and in my eyes better visible gestures on taxi-in and the fact that service vehicles use vehicle paths of the airport (which I didn't expect, from the nature of the product, meaning specialized to the airport I would this expect from AES). All other things are to come within AES NG too I guess, but the pricing factor is a really major one. I spent 9 credit packs so far, which is 135€ (!) for a limited number of airports. With GSX you get the whole world, with nearly the same functionality.
I would really like to stay with AES, as I like the product as well as the really good support.. I'm eager to see what Oliver's answer is.

Whenever engine is running or is about to start beacon has to be turned on (but no strobes necessary). On planes without beacon, strobes will have to be turned on.

Es funktioniert.. irgendwie. Nach Neuinstallation ging es dann, warum auch immer. Hab ich so noch nie gehabt.
Es erschien nicht in der AES Auswahlliste, bzw. war rot, als sei es nicht installiert. Bezüglich der Version war ich etwas verwirrt, weil auf der CD "FSX Version 1.00" steht. In der Readme der Szenerie steht jedoch 2.0, und neuer gibts wohl auch nicht.
Nundenn, Problem wie auch immer gelöst, alles prima.

Some alternative destinations, such as african airports, really would be nice. Flying european and american hubs and airports over and over again gets boring time to time, and Africa could be a nice continent to discover. But I admit that it wouldn't sell as good as 'traditional' products..
