  1. By the way, thanks very much for answering an email at this time of night.
  2. Well, the flight is saved, but after a second or two after initializing something pushes the cold and dark-button.
  3. Is there a possibility to force the plane to use the state it was in when exiting the program?
  4. Dear Mathijs I was hoping that one of your experts (e.g. Dave) could give me some advice. I do not want to bother you with my problem, but who else could I turn to for support if not the developer? Kind regards Christoph Kuehne
  5. Dear support, I was asking for advice last December. That's why I'm using the same title (continued). Since then, I haven't been able to solve the problem. Resuming a saved flight is still not possible for me. So I would like to ask if you could give me some tips. The aircraft still goes back into cold and dark-mode instead of keeping the data of the saved flight. That data is there for a second after loading, but then it's as if someone had pushed the cold-and-dark-button. Everything else works great, I can also do long flights without issues. I'm using p3dv4.5 hf, a330, active sky, rex for clouds, orbx, etc., windows 10, i7-8086 at 5 Ghz, Memory 16GB, GTX 1080; This system is very stable. Thank you for your time and understanding. Christoph Kuehne
  6. I've just tried to load that flight again: Here's what I got from the event viewer. Thanks for looking into the problem. 🙂 Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 21/12/2019 16:50:31 Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-237MJQN Description: Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version:, time stamp: 0x5cd47aad Faulting module name: ucrtbase.dll, version: 10.0.18362.387, time stamp: 0x4361b720 Exception code: 0xc0000409 Fault offset: 0x000000000006c4c8 Faulting process ID: 0x2f18 Faulting application start time: 0x01d5b81599237464 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\ucrtbase.dll Report ID: 72257ca0-6067-4b2d-ad1c-51bc53c05ce0 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2019-12-21T15:50:31.158408600Z" /> <EventRecordID>7005</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>DESKTOP-237MJQN</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>Prepar3D.exe</Data> <Data></Data> <Data>5cd47aad</Data> <Data>ucrtbase.dll</Data> <Data>10.0.18362.387</Data> <Data>4361b720</Data> <Data>c0000409</Data> <Data>000000000006c4c8</Data> <Data>2f18</Data> <Data>01d5b81599237464</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe</Data> <Data>C:\WINDOWS\System32\ucrtbase.dll</Data> <Data>72257ca0-6067-4b2d-ad1c-51bc53c05ce0</Data> <Data> </Data> <Data> </Data> </EventData> </Event>
  7. Hello Otto, I didn't get an error message. P3dv4 loads up to 3% and then bang, it's gone. Do you have a suggestion what I could try? Thanks. Christoph
  8. I've just done a test flight from LOWS to LSZH. The flight was successfully completed, no problems at all. However, just before TOD I had saved the flight. After completing it, I shut down P3dv4, restarted it and wanted to load my saved flight. CTD. I couldn't load that flight. What is the matter, I wonder.
  9. Well, thanks. That means that the problem must be at my end. When I load a saved flight, after about 2 seconds everything starts to shut down, screens, engines, ... So the question is, why does it do that? And what can I do? Reinstall?
  10. Could anyone confirm that resuming a saved flight works ok for them? Thanks.
  11. Well, I tried that several times and everything shuts off, the screens e.g. turn black, the engines die, etc., as if it was going into a cold and dark state.
  12. Trying to resume a saved flight, the screens are on in the first couple of seconds and then shut off, probably going back to a certain predefined start-up state. What can I do to make the plane continue with everything the way it was when I saved the flight? Sorry, if this has been asked or explained before, but I haven't been able to find an entry. Thanks a lot for your help. Christoph
  13. Unfortunately, the mid-section is white, whereas the front and aft sections are dirty or cream. This must be a mistake.
  14. Just updated my box version of Mega Scenery Zurich to 1.2. After updating, the jetways were gone. I then deinstalled 1.2, restarted pc and fsx, made sure that now there was the standard fsx scenery of Zurich, then installed 1.2 again, restarted both pc and fsx again. Now the jetways were there because AES was not on first place in the scenery library. Moved AES to the first position, restarted fsx and the jetways were missing again. Of course, I had made sure that Zurich was installed in AES. Obviously, AES doesn't recognise the new version as this is a full install. Will I have to wait for the next update of AES or is there another reason for the missing jetways or a fast solution? Thanks for your support. Chris
  15. I still haven't been able to use the scenery. What can I do? Why doesn't it activate in the scenery library of FSX like any other Aerosoft scenery? I'm getting a bit tense. Here is a customer (a good customer at that) who has a problem and is left alone. This is the support forum, isn't it? Thanks for your attention. My specs are above.
