    and I also like the windows, there is nothing wrong with them of course. I prefer not to have any vc windows so I can admire some of my Orbx scenery in greater detail. I will try this myself when I get a chance; If it doesn't work then I'll ask him for assistance.

    fsc9 not working...

    Hi,

    I'm trying to go to kjfk but it can't find the airport in the airport selection menu.

    I type in kjfk and press "search by icao" and all I get is blank box showing no airport at all...?

    I used to be able to do that with fsc8.6.

    That's doesn't look nothing special, you want improvments...?

    Go back to fs9! That's what I did and I'm enjoying every minute of it!

    My concern with Microsoft is that they release another sim, then close own the team that developped it and leave us with bugs just like they did with the simmconnect issues a million of people are having...

    Not folling me this time!

    Of course they do flex but nothing compared...lets say to the 737 NG to mention an aircraft of similar size.

    Plus the movement of the flex in fs is so not real...kind of to jerky for me...

    Anyway I'm not gonna cry if they do it I would just rather have other things taken care of right now.

    I think you should stick with Navigraph and if you can add the bus to topcat,wing flex is useless imo,I've been on an airbus recently I they hardly flex,it would be a waste of resources,same for weather radar imo.

    Vnav is important,sid and star costraints,fbw and more...

    With the 1.20 (and boxed version) of the Airbus X almost done we now started to think about the more advanced version that was discussed before. We like to know what customers would like to see in that version. Keep in mind that we are still not aiming for the very high complexity (PMDG like) level but something between the current Airbus and the highest complexity. This version will loose compatibility with the default flight plans, one of the main goals of the current version.

    MODELING / GRAPHICS

    • Slight changes to the gear animation (will cause some additional load on FPS for the external model but still acceptable)
    • Drooping flight surfaces when hydraulics pressure is low during a longer period
    • Possibly adding the A319/A318
      MCDU
      • More pages included
      • Selection of SID's, STARs, Departure and Arrival runways, Airways
      • Possibly handling of route database
      • Option to use non Navigraph databases
        PFD / ND
        • Smoother flight plan lines (curved)

      I forgot to say but I would love a 2d panel for the mcdu,I have a little touchscreen for it,and another thing I left out is better taxi lights.I can't see anything the way they are now,they look like a torch light!

    ...that now I know the ins and outs of this Airbus X, I am longing more and more for an advanced version... :o;)

    There. I've said it. Not because of SIDS and STARS and wingflex (I couldn't care less!), but there are just too many buttons and options (MCDU!) inop, and the more I fly this plane, the more that hurts. ^_^

    That doesn't mean I don't love this Airbus X anymore: I sure do and I will be flying it for quite some time (it's the only big plane I fly right now), but now I know the basics (which is 'all' there is) I just want more!!! :D And it wouldn't surprise me if the target group (which, I know, isn't us here on the forum) would want more too after getting to know the basics!

    So, Aerosoft, please continue to fix this bird and when you are done, take a weekend off, have a party, go nuts, and then come back on monday (any monday in the future will do) and decide if you want to go the extra mile (or miles) and make this one complete. ;)

    I'd be happy for now if it did the things a simplified version should...had my first flight today and things didn't quite work out well.

    I'll post more details,I wrote them down.

    Advanced is the key word...:-)

    Probably far more important issues to look into than wishlists at the moment :)

    Problem not really solved. I had low fuel, but a lot of passengers. Almost crashed. Flared myself then. Saved a few broken bones.rolleyes.gif

    Hi from your second picture it looks like the flare begins to early,shouldn't it be normally around 30ft?
