I live in New York City, where I have worked as both a NYCT Transit Motorman for many years. I also used to work part time as a Travel Agent. As a rapid transit enthusiast, I have visited numerous cities with transit systems, and with the hospitality of fellow transit workers in those cities, I have a good understanding of how trains and trolleys (trams) work. Although I still visit other transit systems, the events of 9/11/2001, have changed everything. It is no longer smart to go around asking too many questions.
