  1. Thanks a lot to all for your help. I shall try your suggestions next Thursday morning and will report back if I have any issue, otherwise, I will fly the A330 and be watchful of your information in any upcoming problem and will provide feedback on this thread. Only thing I wish to avoid at this time is a full re-install, within the next six months, either I'll move on to MSFS 2020 or P3Dv5, so I'll keep using the aircraft that leave me in peace during that period if the A330 does not want to cooperate nicely, but I like the A330 and would prefer very much to resolve this issue if realistically doable and without too much hassle. And, by the way, great and friendly support gentlemen!
  2. Thanks Mathijs, I understand your suggestion. But since my settings are perfectly working with all my other complex add-ons with no such CTDs, I am reluctant to consider that I would need to reduce my settings simply to use the A330. As a compromise, until we get to the bottom of that, I will make my A330 flights without changing views and see if I run into this problem again for any other reason (because the problem reports dont all point to that only direction). The views that I am mostly using are: Outside spot view (during cruise flight to avoid ghost imaging on my screen), VC left side and MCDU 1. I use the MCDU 3 to load the plane and prepare for the flight, then I ignore it. Something I have been wondering: Is it safer to "call" the MCDU 1 with Shift+1 or cycle through the views to it (I dont remember which P3D key is used for that as I am using a switch on my yoke), is one solution better than the other to avoid this kind of problem? Thank you.

  4. Nope Mathijs, as listed in my (too) lengthy post above, I run an Intel 8770K with no OC and HT.
  5. Thank you Otto, where is the tool please?
  6. I continue having several CTD with the A330 since I purchased it last April. My latest were one on a flight from VTSP to LSZH when lining up with the LOC 28 at LSZH, suddenly the plane became uncontrollable and crashed to CTD, yesterday on a flight from TFFF to LFPO, everything fine until my descent when I switched to the FMCG to enter my landing data, CTD... Today, same flight, but this time CTD on the ground at TFFF. That airplane is special indeed, fortunately I have plenty of others (more complex) where my flights do end up at the gate!... Jokes apart, I would not mind understanding what the problem is, as I mentioned tongue in cheek, several other complex airplanes reputed to me much more hungry on resources demonstrate no such problem, so I am at a loss to understand why this A330 can't reach its destinations. In most cases so far, my CTD would happen when switching to a different view, today it is when I called the flight computer view (not the first time this happens). So any help will be welcome indeed. Yesterday, CTD upon entering descent data into FMCG: Description A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows. 8. So as to keep my topic updated, I re-installed the A330 latest version as advised above, and since then had several CTD, one on a flight from VTSP to LSZH when lining up with the LOC 28 at LSZH, suddenly the plane became uncontrollable ad crashed to CTD, today on a flight from TFFF to LFPO, everything fine until my descent when I switched to the FMCG to enter my landing data, CTD... In most cases so far, my CTD would happen when switching to a different view, today it is when I called the flight computer view (not the first time this happens. So any help will be welcome indeed. I know this aircraft is not finished as you correctly advertised, but this begs the question: when will it be? Thank you for your assistance.
  9. Thank you, I understand Program Files is the worst folder. P3Dv4.5 HF2 is installed on this location as per P3D installer. However what I am referring to is that previous post from Otto, he says My A330 was installed on this location by the Aerosoft installer. Is that a mistake, should I uninstall it and where else should I install it? For information I have a bunch of other P3D add-ons on that same location and dont seem to have any problem with them. Interestingly (so to speak), I had another CTD this morning with the A330 due to my switching to an outside view (the very first time on that flight on the ground while boarding was in progress). It seems that it is almost impossible for me to change views with this plane. Whenever I remain with the virtual cockpit view, I can complete my flights with no issue, whenever I switch to another view, I take the risk to terminate my flight instantly with a CTD, this has been my experience so far with the A330 in the past month. Yesterday was because I clicked on the EFB mid-flight, today was because I wanted to watch the luggage loading... Thank you for any advice regarding this issue. PS: I am using the latest version 1.0.0.10
  10. Thank you Mathijs, but I am still confused. The advice given above is directly in contradiction of what the Aerosoft installer does, so if the advice is right, the Aerosoft installer should be corrected. I am merely trying to be logical!? Why would the Aerosoft installer suggests a wrong locationto install the bus is the question? Or am I totally mistaken here?
  11. I had the same problem today, I was on the EFB view (selected from the pre-selection of screens up left), and went to CTD once more. I am surprised about the reference of not installing anything in this location: Since I did not select the installation location myself, but the Aerosoft installer did..., why would it be wrong then? Your remark sounds confusing! Could you please clarify? Thank you.

  13. I bought the A330 two days ago, started two flights which both ended the same way CTD when changing views (from inside to outside). I am using P3Dv4.52 with RexEnv, AS4, MCE and GSX. This happened regardless whether I use hardware switch (1st case), or P3D command (2nd case). The flight was the same LPPT-SBGR, the first crash happened when climbing to my FL (I had used changing views several times before with no event, on the second occurrence, it happened on the ground when refueling... Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  14. Thank you for the Swissair and the Eastern liveries. May I please ask for three french airlines now defunct all flew the DC8 - 33 up to 70: Transports Aériens Intercontinentaux (TAI) serving Asia, Pacific from Paris Union Aeromaritime de Transports (UAT) serving Africa from Paris Union de Transports Aériens (UTA) merger of both above (the liveriy are very similar to UAT but for one colour green instead of yellow). Not particularly interested by the latest modern UTA livery... All liveries available on Internet but I cannot post links. Thank you
  15. Two quick questions: 1/ On the box and in the manual, this product is referred to as the PMDG 737 NGX inferring that all available versions are included. However I cannot find the 600 and 700 versions, is that a problem with my install or is it supposed to be that way? 2/ Having received this product last week, do I have to download any updates on the PMDG site? Thank you to please clarify. Best regards.
