  1. Hello everybody, After a long consideration, I am now considering a switch from FSX to P3Dv4. But this will probably be a bigger challenge for me, because I have a small "homecockpit" (see photo) and therefore a lot of hardware. As far as the modules and the controllers of GoFlight are concerned, I see no problems, because I know that there is an updated driver for P3Dv4. But there are still some open questions where I need help: 1.The first question concerns my System: Intel I7-6700k @ 4.1, 16Gb RAM, Win10 home 64 Bit, Nvidia GTX 980Ti (6Gb). Do I have to adjust or to upgrade something if I want to use the sim with stable framerates (25+) also on complex sceneries even when the dynamic lighting are on? 2. What about the CDU II module and the 737 overhead from VRinsight? Can these modules also be used with P3Dv4 together with the Ifly737? Unfortunately, I did not receive an answer on this request from the manufacturer. 3. I would like to keep the complete FSX installation with all addons and get a new SSD hard drive on which P3Dv4 (including addons) will be installed. Can this method cause problems, also because of all the other hardware? I am grateful for any help. Regards, Daniel.
  2. Many thanks for the answer. I am glad to hear that. I'm really looking forward to the new shots and more to the release.
  3. Hello guys from Simwings. How do you progress in the scenery development? Maybe you have some new screenshots for us?

That looks really incredible and realistic!
  6. Let's go back to the topic: Is there anything to say except for the release date? Maybe you have a few screenshots or some information for us about the status of development regarding GCLP?

  8. Are there any new plans for the project of the entire Canary Islands, which will be revised by Simwings? I ask because I know that MK-Studios is also working on the islands. Fuerteventura has already been released for FSX and P3D and Tenerife will follow at the beginning of next year, if you believe there Facebook post
  9. it should already have arrived at your place. I sent the mail right yesterday.
  10. Hello Mathijs, thank you for the fast answer. I bought all my hardware from Aerosoft (including the VRinsight moduls). You will shortly receive a mail from me in this regard. Thanks in advance. Regards, Daniel

    Köln/Bonn airport - released

Wow! This looks really impressive!!! Will the new version of Cologne be only for P3D or also for FSX? Are there any similar plans for Hannover maybe? Kind Regards, Daniel

  16. Hello everyone, Thats my first post here. But unfortunately I have a very strange problem in my FSX (SP2) with the Mega Airport Frankfurt V2 (V1.08) from Aerosoft. At the ILS final Approach I get a terrain warning from the GPWS system ("TERRAIN TERRAIN, PULL UP"). I fly exclusively with the IFly 737-800 (currend version 3.2.2.). I've tried it many times and already checked everything. The aircraft is definitely finalized in the correct configuration for landing (ILS approach in the FMC, ILS Freq on NAV1 + NAV2, Flaps in landingconfig. [30 °], IAS Vref + 2, Altimeter on Local, etc.) . I've added a screenshot to my post. The GPWS shows a high terrain on the NAV display in front of the airport while approaching RWY 25L (see screenshot). For now I get the GPWS alert on final approach on every RWY, especially 25R/07L and 25L/07R. Runway 07C/25C only used for departures and RWY 18 is closed in the AFCAD of EDDF V2. I have also checked the manual of the IFLY 737. I except that it is probably a warning of the GPWS Mode 2b, cause the issue always occurs between 700ft and 500ft radio altitude. The issue occurs only in Frankfurt. I also set the GPWS sensitivity slider almost to minimum in the IFLY Config tool. Furthermore I did the following things to solve this issue without any result: 1) I've reinstalled the scenery twice, but after two or three landings after reinstalling the warning cames back again. 2) I've contact the Ifly Support to get an solution, but they couldm't help me. In the meanwhile I think it is highly probable that this have nothing to do with the Ifly 737 aircraft. Thats why I desided to contact the Aerosoft support. During the discussion and tests with the Ifly suppport, there has been found some important thing: This issue is very difficult to duplicate, because it occurs not at very approach (for now it occured at the third or fourth landing after installing/reinstalling the scenery). The Ifly support team couldn't duplicate this Situation at all even though they have used completly the same aircraft (Ifly 737-800), scenery (Aerosoft MA EDDF V2) and other FS related Software as I used (Ultimate Traffic 2 and Active Sky Next). They said it could be possible that UT2 causes that issue since it does make some topo and airport location changes, but it is rather unlikely. In case this issue occurs in my FSX I also can't duplicate this, because after saving and reloading the flightsituation it dosen't occurs again. So it is very difficult to find out what is wrong here. So I'm very confused and I feel very helpless with this issue. Otherwise my FSX and the Ifly run on Win 10 without any issues. Thanks for your help, Kind regards Daniel

GPWS terrain warning in EDDF V2

GPWS terrain warning in EDDF V2

GPWS terrain warning in EDDF V2
