  1. First: Why you are writing all in Uppercase? You know how this is readed in Internet?

BIKF is not a AES supported Airport, so nothing to "patch" or "fix" here.

    Hi Oliver,

Thanks for add the rest of Hawaii!! I thought Simwings was going to release PANC as an FS9 airport also. I see you are only supporting FSX. Did I misread something? Have a great vacation.

  2. The other night, as I moved into a spanish airport and was welcomed by a "Bienvenido", I thought what a powerful sensation of realism is linked to a relatively minor effort in programming ...

That's why I hope that Oliver will consider to "open" AES to other idioms (German, Portuguese, Greek, etc.) applicable to the scenery already supported by AES, even before the "official" AES voice for that idiom is picked up ... (the default voice being always there, if no local accented set is available).

Why couldn't a German AES user record and place his own files in AES sound folder, even if they do not sound good enough to be chosen officially for the rest of the world ?

Also, I would like to invite other AES dedicated users to spend some time with the mike and create a library of new AES voices for the languages which are already available, destinated to sound sub-folders, so that before every flight, during the pre-flight setup, one can use a simple batch file and send the voice file set in place ...

I cannot dare to ask Oliver for AES randomized pick-up among many voice sets, simply because ... we don't have them (yet) !!! Maybe with the long-awaited version 3.0 ?

I hope - anyway - that this will be another nice way to encourage people to exchange their works on the net, strenghten the community, enhance the fun, and make it even more "as real as it sounds" !!!

Happy landings and always three greens to y'all,

    Eu

I guess I'll just have to do this in USA Southern for ATL and DFW. "Clear to Taxi, Y'all have a great day! :-)

  3. You missed the entire point Bruce,,, never mind, enjoy your weekend

Bruce didn't miss anything. As an air traffic controller, I expect airline and corporate pilots to know where the runway is. Period. You can find the chart for just about any airport on the planet on the web. That's just lazy.

  4. That sounds great, thanks for replying!

I love flying to Asia, so you can count me as a customer when it's ready and AESed.

Can you confirm it is going to be available for the FS9 platform?

Let me say once again: that looks really good. I tried your demo yesterday and I liked it.

So, taking into consideration that it is being improved over, it's gonna be a winner if you ask me. :)

I'm also glad Oliver showed deep interest in this scenery. AES makes sceneries' value double.

I fly into VTBS a lot in the real world. GREAT job on the terminal. I started looking for Customs! :-) I will also buy it!

  5. No. They have changed all, but don't follow the well know requirement of AES to replace the new Jetways. So I must first talk to them to get the new stuff, but this will not happen at the moment, because other things are more important.

Sorry, but the designer are all informed how to prepare there scenery to get it compatible, but I can't follow up all changes they do without following this minimum roles just in time.

I'm running YBBN lite and that won't work either. Sometimes upgrades are not a good thing.......
