  1. Hi all, I've just upgraded to P3D V5 and the only version of the A330 in my JustFlight account is 1.0.1.0. Is this version compatible with V5? Cheers, Dave.
  2. Hi, I have been following this topic as I too have been suffering from intermittent .NET runtime termination followed by a D3D10Warp.dll fault and P3D crash to Desktop when flying the A330. Are all these C++ Redistributable and Runtime packages listed by @tommaGT required by the Airbus Professional software? Or are some of them installed by other add-ons? Which begs the question, why the heck are we in a position where P3D add-on developers are developing against 6 different C++ versions? Or have I misunderstood this completely... Thanks, Dave.
  3. Ah, OK. Just say yes to the RAAS installs. Cheers, Dave.
  4. Hi folks, I hope you are all keeping well. Apologies if this has been asked before but I don't see it mentioned in the install guides. When updating an Airbus Professional product, it asks if you want to install RAAS. This happens whether RAAS is installed or not. * Is it safe to say 'no' if RAAS is already installed? * Would it be possible to change the installer to detect the installed version of RAAS and only prompt for an installation if it isn't already installed or the installed version is out of date? All the best, Dave.
  5. Hi Gaz, I take it you had interaction with the copilot prior to this? If so, it sounds like something happened during the flight to interrupt the 'normal' flow of events on which the checklists rely. I've noticed that inadvertently entering DES mode before the Descent Preparation Checklist breaks the remaining checklists. Cheers, Dave.
  6. Hi Timma, If you grab the latest GSX live update, I'm pretty sure they have recently improved support for the AeroSoft A330: https://www.fsdreamteam.com/couatl_liveupdate_notes.html January 10th, 2020 NEW: GSX - Docking Systems supports Aerosoft Airbus A330. I'm not at my PC but I can send you a config file later if you still need it. Dave.
  7. Hi James, The FMGS calculates the descent profile taking many variables in account such as distance to destination, air speed, weather, weight etc etc. This is what the aircraft is trying to capture. In the real world, Airbus and Boeing pilots allow the aircraft to gradually settle onto the descent profile first using a shallow rate (e.g. 500 feet/sec) for passenger comfort. They will then make small adjustments to the rate of descent to reach the assigned altitude in line with the calculated profile, using speed brakes as required. You are right - if you engage managed descent or VNAV from cruise, in some circumstances your passengers and flight attendants may end up on the ceiling and you will be summoned to a tea and biscuits meeting with your chief pilot! 🙂 I think Aerosoft are also working on the VDEV code, so it's possible that it may become more forgiving. I prefer a blend of open descent / managed descent. Dave.
  8. Hi Mike, If you continue to have KERNELBASE.dll errors, may I suggest that you perform a clean re-install of your primary graphic card's drivers. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Also, check that your other system drivers are up to date (mainboard, audio, network etc.) This has helped me fix these errors in the past. Best of luck, Dave.
  9. Hello Aerosoft. Congratulations on the A330 release and thanks for all the hard work! I have a JustFlight gift voucher that expires on Christmas day. Is the A330 Professional likely to be avaialble from JustFlight before then, or should I buy something else? Many thanks, Dave.
  10. I haven't been able to re-create this, so please close. I will put it down to a dodgy Windows issue. 🙂
  11. Hi All, No-one has replied to my post on the GSX forum. I noticed, however that my product versions are different. From the updater: Product Name: Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional for Prepar3D v4.x Add-on Path: D:\addons\Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional Installed version: 1.2.5.3 No updates available for this product! Product Name: Aerosoft A320-A321 Professional for Prepar3D v4.x Add-on Path: D:\addons\Aerosoft A320-A321 Professional Installed version: 1.2.5.2 No updates available for this product!
  12. Hi Dave, Yes - experimental updates are enabled for all products. I'll do some more troubleshooting when I get back to my PC. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Dave.
  13. Hi Friends, I was seeing some strange behaviour - bouncing VDEV symbol, checklists items being read out at strange times - just a mixture of weird stuff. I decided to do a clean reinstall of the A318-A321 packages using the correct procedures. I then ran the updater. Now, at the precise moment that the GSX refuelling completes, P3D crashes to Desktop. I see the spinning cursor then the desktop. Event viewer says KERNEL.DLL so I clean reinstalled my graphics drivers but it didn't cure the problem. It happens on the A319, A320, A321 at various airports and always at the exact moment the refuelling completes. I'll ask over on the GSX forum, but I wondered if you guys know of a specific software condition that occurs at the moment refuelling completes that could trigger a CTD. Thanks all and best regards, Dave.
  14. How did you create the load sheet and what were the values for passengers and cargo?
  15. Since P3D is a graphics intensive application, the logical place to start with kernelbase.dll errors is your graphics card drivers. (1) Download your latest graphics card drivers (2) Run Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html (3) Install your latest graphics card drivers Good luck and let us know how it works out.
  16. Hi @fernandito1969 If you haven't already tried it, it may help if you run the Windows system file checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system Also, I've fixed some crashes by reinstalling the latest graphics drivers using this tool: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html It's most effective if you select the 'safe mode' option. Make sure you have the latest driver downloaded first. I've never heard the 'rotors' checklist item - did you definitely hear it in a previous version? Good luck, Dave.
  17. Hi @AidanM Kernelbase errors can be caused by drivers. Try a clean install of the latest graphics driver using Display Driver Uninstaller DDU in safe mode. Good luck, Dave.
  18. Hi @gollum65, There's a sticky thread for this: You might want to post something in there..
  19. (1) Use fuel planner to enter load / fuel CRZ ALT etc and press generate loadsheet. (2) MCDU3 Load Fuel / Initialise loadsheet. (3) Call GSX and select Start boarding. It's all automatic after that if you have the appropriate GSX settings enabled. There may be a 5min delay with the fuel loading but Aerosoft are looking into that. Cheers, Dave.
  20. I didn't know Santa Claus worked for Aerosoft - that explains the reins in the A320 virtual cockpit... 🙂 Seriously - thanks for looking into this..
  21. Cheers guys - I thought maybe I'd had one too many beers in the cockpit and I was seeing things. The route was generated in Simbrief then imported into ProATC/X - it's entirely possible that ProATC/X mangled it. Dave. MMMXMMUN_FSX_22Jul19.pln
