  1. On which update revision you are? I just tried using the actual one and also looked into the code. There is no problem to switch on the cabin signs after initial descent has been iniated....... and also passing 10.000 feet this is recognized ........ Regards, Rolf
  2. Sorry, you are right the current version is Also I looked into the code and as well tried a complete flight after TURNAROUND but could not reproduce it....... So please try again and if you still experience exact the same problems at the same moment come back here....... But you could also use SKIP ITEM for the CL to proceed. But next time I need more details like type of plane etc. Regards, Rolf
  3. Hi Stephan, sorry but this not planned because normally those values differ between flights. But if you do not change the values in the Fuel Planner those stay until you next time change something..... This means you can use the one time prepaired Loadsheet also for another flight ...... Regards, Rolf
  4. Sorry, but please update to version 1.1.3 - with revision 1.1.2 your problems in connection with the Cockpit Preparation CL after a real TURNAROUND should be solved ........ Regards, Rolf
  5. If you put in FLAPS the FLEX is automatically calculated based on a lot of facts known by the MCDU rwy length, aircraft weight, flaps settings e. g. data which are available in the MCDU .....
  6. I do not know what might have caused the situation you are describing...... Did you use the Checklist as well as the Copilot function or just the Checklist? If you have just used the CL the problem might be that the required settings you made were wrong. I suggest to try it again and this time use the Copilot to make the necessary settings....... Regards, Rolf
  7. On the MCDU 1 and 2 Menu select "DATA" and then use the arrow showing to the right to go to the 2nd page. On the 2nd page select "PILOTS ROUTES" = LSK4R. Enter the name of the F-PLAN into the scratchpad and then use LSK1L to save the F-PLAN..... Regards, Rolf
  8. Sorry but I do not understand your problem or question..... About which MCDU you are talking MCDU1 and 2 or the MCDU 3 for the various settings..... Please explain in detail what you want to do and what happens? Did you accidentically enable the keyboard input? Please some more details...... sometimes a web translater is not very helpful..... Regards, Rolf
  9. Sorry I do not agree ...... In RL there are also a lot of things which have to be done during descent. If you are not able to handle all those by yourself in the right way and at the right time, then use the copilot who will help you like in RL to make the necessary settings at the right time....... This is exact the reason why we implemented the CL and Copilot function e g. so you can fly like in RL with exact procedures. But if you want to use your own procedures - which of course you can do - then do not expect that the CL and the Copilot will follow those - just switch both OFF....... - and do what you like. Regards, Rolf
  10. 1. This is a known issue and will be solved with the next update..... 2. This issue with the APPR CL never happened to me and I cannot reproduce it. The next time it happens to you I need a lot of detailed information like flight plan, plane , altitude from which you started the descent, FCU ALT etc. so that I am able to reproduce it or to find out which mistake you may have made.... Regards, Rolf
  11. You should have a look into the manual. There are only two hotkeys used by the MCDU 3 and that is 1 and 2. But you can disable this option in the MCDU 3 MENU under CHECKLIST. Second: Why do you want to get rid of the APPR PHASE and what do you mean by "back to normal"? The complete CL is "normal" and RL procedure. If you want to fly as you like then please disable the CL and the Copilot ...... You cannot have both options! Regards, Rolf
  12. OPK, I found the issue - as a workarounf please set the EXT LIGHTS before starting the TAXI CL. Problem will be solved with the next update. Regards, Rolf
  13. But if you do not use the Copilot even there should be a call regading the CABIN SIGNS when passing 10.000 feet .......
  14. This really depends on a lot of issues like weight, altitude, distance to destination etc. but theoretically both planes should be quite similar......
  15. If you would use the CL and Copilot then you would know......
  16. OK, I will have a look into it........ regards, Rolf
  17. Sorry but we will not remove the SEATBELT SIGNS from the CL when passing 10.000 feet. This is common procedure ...... and maybe in 99,9 % of all cases this is correct........ Did you try to switch it ON again manually in such a case you are talking about? But who then takes care that those are switched off when the situation has changed back to normal? Regards, Rolf
  18. The Cabin Signs should be switched on after passing 10.000 feet. So during the APPR CL they should already be ON..... Try it this way and you should have no problems........ Regards, Rolf
  19. The CL state is saved with the P3D SAVED FLIGHT STATE. But this only works as described in the tutorial if one CL has been finished and the next one is vailable. Otherwise the software does not know where to start from. It works well p. e. BEFORE COCKPIT PREP, BEFORE TAXI, BEFORE TAKEOFF, AT CRZ LVL and before T/D. During DESCENT it is quite difficult because there are so many things overlapping..... Regards, Rolf
  20. Then why you do not update to 1.1.2? With this revision the issues you are mentioning should be solved...... Regards, Rolf
  21. Hi Chris, sorry but this is currently not possible....If you like you can do the firetests again by your self. And the oxygen mask test on the captains side can only be done by himself..... but xou can repeat it if you like yourself on the PM side...... Regards, Rolf
  22. Are you on version 1.1.2 or which version did you use when this happened?
  23. ECAM-RECALL: In RL if during the Cockpit Preparation CL the ECAM-RECALL button is pushed then the STS page (STATUS) comes up on the lower ECAM. This currently does not work yet and is on our list for open issues. So as a workaround (if you are not using the Copilot) you have to push the STS button itself. If you are using the Copilot everything works as required....... RADIO MANAGEMENT PANEL: Did you also set the standby Radio Management Panel on the OVHD to ON? I believe that this might be the reason....... Regards, Rolf
  24. Turning the Weather Radar on during Cockpit Preparation is a wrong setting! This can harm the people working around the plane like baggage handlers, pushback crew etc.because of radiation The settings we implemented are based on the input of RL pilots and also severly tested by them. Regarding batteries e. g. electric power I told you before that those settings in RL are made when the crew enters the plane the first time and therefore the previously made settings are accepted. But for me now this discussion is finished...... use the Checklist as required and do not try to invent something new! Regards, Rolf
