  1. I believe that the problem is related to an imcomplete reset (my problem) after the TA state has been newly loaded. I added something in the code and hopefully with the next update the issue should be solved..... If not please let me know and I will have a second look into it....... Also you are saying that the plane after a turnaround always starts with APU ON. Before the new TA state is loaded (countdown timer is still running) there is a message on the INFOBAR that you should establish EXT PWR and set the APU OFF. Did you do that? Regards, Rolf
  2. If you cannot update to 1.0.1.3 contact support.......
  3. Haleef, that is the normal procedure e. g. to check both on during the TAXI CL. But some users prefer at night to switch both on before starting to taxi...... Regards, Rolf
  4. OK I will have a look into it - but setting the EXT LIGHTS before starting the TAXI CL is currently just a "workaround".......
  5. Ok I had a look into your issue but I am sorry I cannot reproduce it on my system it is working as required. I hope you are not using a P3D saved situation to which you applied the C&D state because looking at your screenshot it looks a little bit different to mine. Generally speaking in any case (like if no DEF ACFT STATE is defined) the plane is first loaded with running engines. Then on top the defined ACFT STATE (if one is defined) is loaded..... So I suggest to try it again using the P3D Scenario menü to define a plane and the location etc. and make sure that your thrust levers are on idle position. After the A319 is loaded check in the MCDU3 that the right ACFT STATE is set to DEF. Maybe you change it to TA and then back to C&D to make sure the right settings are saved. Then close P3D and start the procedure again from the SCENARIO menue....... If you get the same result please try it with other plane like the A319 IAE or the A318. If you still experience the same issue then the only thing I suggest is to deinstall the Airbus completely (using Windows functionality) and reinstall it again...... Regards, Rolf
  6. On the MCDU 1 and 2 FPLAN page you always see the distance between two waypoints and the distance from your actual position to the final destination. The distance from your current position to the next active waypoint you can see on the ND in the upper right corner......... So you have all needed information available...... and this is modelled how it is RL........ Regards, Rolf
  7. Sorry Haleef I do not get your question. There are no specific calls for TAXI and RWY lights. The two calls are combined in one call for EXTERIOR LIGHTS.....(to shorten the CL) like it is handled in RL....... This also valid for a lot of other EXT LIGHT settings.........e.g. except some there are no specific calls for specific EXT LIGHTS. This is also valid for CABIN SIGNS e. g. there is no separation between SEAT BELT and PED signs...... Regards, Rolf
  8. Yes, but the format for wind data is standardized and also AS uses the same export wind data format. This is the reason why the Aerosoft Airbus can import both files....... Regards, Rolf
  9. Sorry but that is not correct. If you prepare and relaese a flightplan in PFPX you have the possibility to export the weather data (please see screenshot).... If the export path is correct as stated in my screenshot you are also able to import the wind data automatically from that folder into the Aerosoft Airbus..... (because the MCDU "searches" in the respective AS as well as in the PMDG folder for wind data for that flight.... Regards, Rolf
  10. I think if you use AS and PFPX on a network e. g. a different source than P3D their wind data "export" folder locations are also named different and the Aeorsoft Airbus will not find those...... Regards, Rolf
  11. The different ACFT STATES you will find on the MCDU3 main page...... and one of those is the prerequisite to use the CL and the Copilot...... Regards, Rolf
  12. Just use the "arrow" showing to the right on the keypad ...... Regards, Rolf
  13. There are two ways to avoid this: You can disable the HOTKEYS 1 and 2 for the CL and Copilot function in the MCDU 3 / OPTIONS / CHECKLIST menu or (like I do) use the numeric keypad for moving the Chase Plane camera around.......
  14. Pierre, the problem seems to be the format (content) of the EDDFEGLL04.pln file. I cannot load this into AS ....... and AS says it has the wrong format....... I just created two new files in PFPX and saved those using the right format like shown in the screenshot of my previous answer. There was no problem to load this new file EDDFEGLL01.pln into AS. After using EDDFEGLL01.flp for the Airbus there were no problems to import the wind data........ I do not know FSC and its flightplan export function but there seems to be the problem (and not the Aerosoft Airbus) You should ask their support how to create flightplans which can be used by AS and the Aerosoft Airbus .......Please try the attached files and it should work........ Regards, Rolf EDDFEGLL01.flp EDDFEGLL01.pln
  15. Sorry but no one until now reported such problems..... and I cannot reproduce it. Did you maybe disable the copilot by using #2 on your keyboard - because this HOTKEY disables the copilot - ? It seems to be that you maybe used #2 during GSX pushback to select certain GSX options. The only other suggestion - if this is not the case - is that you maybe make a new clean reinstall of the Aerosoft Airbus ..... Regards, Rolf
  16. Yes, this is right: If the copilot is enabled she makes the settings for the EXT LIGHTS during the whole flight. If not you have to make those yourself. Regards, Rolf
  17. If you prepare a flight plan you need two different export formats (Aerosoft Airbus and P3D) because ACTIVE SKY cannot read the Aerosoft Airbus but just the normal FSX/P3D format. In PFPX you can select those two different export formats (see attached screenshot). In AS you then in the FLIGHT PLAN menue load the previously saved plan from the "Prepar3D v4 Files" folder and in the Aerosoft Airbus select the same plan (automatically loaded from the "A3XX Flightplans" folder). Then there should be no problem to import wind data...... The reason why this did not work on your system is that maybe AS cannot import the exact flight plan in the right format (P3D format only) and therefore is not able to prepare the necessary wind data. This flight plan must contain all the same waypoints like in the Aerosoft plan because the Airbus checks this before importing. If there are differences the import fails....... Regards, Rolf
  18. Thanks for the information. Will be solved with the next update..... Regards, Rolf
  19. Gaz, unfortunately the Vol6 StepbyStep is not yet updated to the current version of the CLand the Copilot function...... But if you have problems with the settings just use the copilot who will do those for you or in certain cases you also can use "SKIP ITEM" in the MCDU3 CHECKLIST MENU to proceed...... Regards, Rolf
  20. Gary, the answer you can find in the documentation e. g. Vol6 StepbyStep on page 42 #91 ...... the Xponder has to be set to AUTO....... Regards, Rolf
  21. OK, I found a maybe issue in the code and it will be corrected with the next update ...... Regards, Rolf
  22. On which update revision you are? I just tried using the actual one 1.0.1.3 and also looked into the code. There is no problem to switch on the cabin signs after initial descent has been iniated....... and also passing 10.000 feet this is recognized ........ Regards, Rolf
  23. Sorry, you are right the current version is 1.0.1.3. Also I looked into the code and as well tried a complete flight after TURNAROUND but could not reproduce it....... So please try again and if you still experience exact the same problems at the same moment come back here....... But you could also use SKIP ITEM for the CL to proceed. But next time I need more details like type of plane etc. Regards, Rolf
  24. Hi Stephan, sorry but this not planned because normally those values differ between flights. But if you do not change the values in the Fuel Planner those stay until you next time change something..... This means you can use the one time prepaired Loadsheet also for another flight ...... Regards, Rolf
  25. Sorry, but please update to version 1.1.3 - with revision 1.1.2 your problems in connection with the Cockpit Preparation CL after a real TURNAROUND should be solved ........ Regards, Rolf
