  1. What do you mean by "Skipping the controller check" - please explain this a little bit more e.g. what were the previous and the follwing checklist item so that I am able to reproduce...... Regards, Rolf
  2. Gary, that is not the default installation folder. It is C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Aerosoft\Airbus A318-A319 Professional ...... I do not know what problems might occur using a different folder ........
  3. I will now close this topic because there is another one dealing with the same issue...... Regards, Rolf
  4. Ed, our current problem is that we cannot reproduce it and it seems that only a few users experience this problem. So the next step would be to find out what those users make different and / or what is different with their setup. Therefore one question to all users haveing this problem: Did you use the standard installation folder like C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Aerosoft\Airbus A318-A319 Professional or any other folder resp. drive? regards, Rolf
  5. Ed, I am the developer of the CL. So you are talking to the right person. My problem is that I cannot reproduce it e. g. on my system everything is working fine and currently I have no clue what could cause this issue on your system.......But I will talk to the other developer responsible for the door system and will be back soon....... Regards, Rolf
  6. It seems you are using the CL without the Copilot because otherwise the Copilot would make the seetings for the seatbelt signs. The cabin signs should both be set to ON when passing 10.000 feet. Is this the moment when the issue you described happens? Please confirm so that I am able to try to reproduce the issue....... Regards, Rolf
  7. Hi, just one question: Did you use the MCDU 3 menu to close the doors? What shows the MCDU3 DOOR Page? Are all doors in "white"? There are already two topics on this and there fore have a look at Regards, Rolf
  8. Ed, what states the MCDU 3 DOOR page? Are all doors in "white"? Regards, Rolf
  9. Hi, sorry could you please explain the issue a little bit more....... First you have ran the Cockpit Preparation CL and when it had finished you got the message on the INFOBAR to close all doors. Then you used the MCDU 3 to close all doors and it was confirmed on the MCDU3, looking outside and on the ECAM? And what happened then? Did the BEFORE START CL not start? Regards, Rolf
  10. The release will be using the same standard voicesets than the previous busses and those will be the only ones for the time being. The checklist has been enhanced please see e. g. therefore a lot of additional calls have been added. We were not able to modify the previously used voicesets accordingly p. e. because those "pilots" were not available anymore. Therefore the option to change between various voicesets had to be removed. But in future there will be additional voicesets which can be downloaded from the Aerosoft Download Section or you can create your own set of call - please see Regards, Rolf
  11. Hi Peter, the problem with TOPCAT and Airbus in comparison to Boeing is that Airbus does not release any data which is required to prepare such data. I asked Christian nearly 1 1/2 years ago and he answered: Wie Sie sicherlich bereits wissen, enthält TOPCAT einige Boeing Typen, aber nur einen Airbus Typ (A320-214). As you probably already know, TOPCAT contains some Boeing types, but only one Airbus type (A320-214). The reason for this is the difficult / non-existent data situation at Airbus. Boeing publishes the entire data set required in a Flight Planning & Performance Manual (FPPM), which is relatively'easy' to obtain - even as an Airbus pilot/teacher it is not possible for me to obtain the data required - it was extremely complex to obtain the data for the A320-214; in some cases interpolation was required to obtain acceptable results. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator Regards, Rolf
  12. No, but you have the option to just use the CHECKLIST alone. I this case the PM will p. e. make the call "FLAPS 1" only and you then have the possibility to set the flaps to "1" when you like to do it. Only after the flaps are set to "1" the checklist commences....... And if you use the keyboard for flaps setting it is also just one click....... Regards, Rolf
  13. Sorry but NO! The basic "system" is still the same, but the "content" of the CHECKLIST and the COPILOT has been improved a lot. We just finished a final test by a RL Airbus pilot and his comments were: I think we are almost there! Without doing major changes I think we have a finished product here!!! More details you can find in ..... Regards, Rolf
  14. I am a beta-tester and also using GSX without any modifications and problems ..... Regards, Hanse
  15. If you want to know about this finction please have a look into Regards, Rolf
  16. This is already an option in the current version and also will be implemented in the Professional" version - in the settings MCDU / Options/ Sound you will find the option to switch on "CABIN CREW". Then you will get all the announcements during the whole flight...... Regards, Rolf
  17. I believe that this is a problem of SimStarter and how it reads the files created by makerunways for starting positions "West of Greenwich"..... please have a look into the following topic
  18. The problems with gate numbers are based on wrong "display boards" at gates 238 and 239 in EGLL - the boards show instead 237 and 238. I already informed Aerosoft in another thread. But the problem that SimStarter "guides" the simulator in EGLL to and loads a wrong position stays. I found out that SimStarter does not read the Longitude value from the AFCAD file whereas P3D v4 uses the correct value. The Longtitude value using SimStarter is always E0" 0.00' whereas the correct value is W0" 26.65 ! I do not know what it different in EGLL to other airports because until now I only recognized it for Aerosoft Mega Airport London Heathrow....... I also checked MakeRunways G5.csv EGLL,,238,51.469386,-0.444166,35.1,90.5,10,ACA,AIC,ANZ,AVA,DLH,ETH,EWG,GWI,ICE,MSR,SAA,SAS,SWR,CRX,TAP,THA,THY,UAL and the Longitude value is correct. The problem is with SimStarter that it cannot read a negative value in G5.csv as after changing the value to 0.444166 it was was correctly displayed instead of E0" 0.00' ......!
  19. I recognized that there seems to be a problem with gates 238 and 239 in EGLL. If I select 238 I end up at 237 (display) and if I select 239 I end up at 238 (display)..... Looking into the charts 238 and 239 are OK e.g. there is no gate 237...... Please see the attached documents. Those mistakes should be corrected in a coming update . EGLL Gate 238 - 239.pdf
  20. I installed Aerosoft's EGLL (incl. update 1.01). The using the SIMSTARTER I actualized the airports...... In SIMSTARTER I then selected Gate 238 as the starting position but after P3D v4 opened I was somewhere in the countryside. But using P3D v4 to select the location the result was much better e. g. I found myself at the Gate 237 ..... Any Ideas what to do? Regards, Rolf
Rolf
  24. I would like to add one thing to Mathijs statement: "We feel that flying on your own is rather silly. An A320 is flown with two people, an A330 cockpit has often 3 people. Just as people found out that flying with 'real' ATC is a giant step forwards in realism, they see the same when they fly as a crew. It is just way more realistic. And WAY more important then almost any other feature. Looking to your right and seeing that empty seat is by far the biggest flaw in the way we simulate airliners these days". Those were one of the reasons why Aerosoft also added the Checklist- and Copilot (PNF)-Function to its Airbus - which is still outstanding as you will find this functionality on no other flight simulation plane. First it delivers you an oral guide what has to be done next (no paper to read/check) and if you like additionally you can "engage" the PNF who makes all necessary settings (like he does in real life). So you just can concentrate on those things a PF has to care for in a normal flight. Regards, Rolf
  25. Morning, just installed the P3D v4.1 update. If I open SimStarter I get the information "Bitte Plattform wählen", but there is no possibility to make a selection e. g. SimStarter does not recognize the new update. Only possibility is to close SimStarter. Regards, Rolf
