Please check if you need to renew subscription. My connection (checked at 05:50Z) is fine.

Glad that it is fine. My approach is very manual.
I always plan my routing (and then use finder feature to check if the software comes up with an alternative routing.
That means that I try to take a benefit of winds (or to avoid them) and following shortest route possible. It is trial error process. When certain fixes don't work, I try to search for another route, using fixes without any limitations (I have to say that Germany, France, Switzerland are possibly to hardest countries). Central and Eastern Europe seems more relaxed.
When my OFP has no yellow notifications, then I am happy.

My weather is observed at 27-OCT @ 06:00Z with validity till 29-OCT @ 06:00Z. There were same instances when it did not update, but most of the time (99%) it is updated no later than end of the validity.

Today, PFPX is not providing METAR data for airports. NAVDATA and Weather is updated. Is this an isolated problem? TAF works fine.

When you have such issue, always check upper limit on airways. For example, Italian airspace does have upper airways, but are limited to FL305 only. Then it is DCT routing.

I believe that only FIRs/UIRs can be excluded, not countries. Having said that, some countries are only one FIR/UIR (like Syria, Czech Republic, Belgium, or the UAE). But for nations such as the USA, Russia, Germany, or Canada, you need to prohibit each FIR/UIR.
You can actually prohibit also airways, waypoints, navaids, and sub-routes. In your Configuration setting, click on Planning / Units and this way you permanently prohibit these areas.
On "ad-hoc" basis, you can prohibit the same, when you choose Advanced Route Finder tool.

From my experience, my flight history is valid for 3 days only. Not sure if that is a general setting, but I don't see flights older that that.

I am afraid not (I would really like for the developer to update the link, if it is a quick fix). However, Stephen's workaround is very simple process (you need 3 more clicks only).

Hello all,
is there any easy way to find out preferred routes (arrival / departure) for a specific airport? As my primary HUB is EDDK, I tend to spend a lot of time finding appropriate routes in last 300 NM of my flight segment. I tend to copy / save proven routing, but if there is any specific tool within the PFPX that could help me out, I would like to know about it.

Very sad news. I hope that server subscription will continue for years to come. Despite the fact that PFPX could be updated (I don't expect it for free), it is still the best flight planning tool our there.
I guess that if Navigraph would buy PFPX license, we could see further development, but sadly that is not the case.

Whenever there some uncertainty about local procedures, I like to refer to a specific facility at VATSIM. Policies and SOPs should be following the real world procedures.
Based on this, I found a this document. I have to say that KORD is one of a few airports that has only one SID (I want to say that this is more US thing, but I am happy to be corrected).
