    Ok, here's what I did:

    1. Download your file and rename it to something that does not clash with my current profiles, I used "Test - PMDG_NGX(u)_Yoke.json".
    2. Open the file with Notepad++, but any text editor will do.
    3. At the top, update the name in "SaveName" to exactly match the name of the file, excluding the ".json" extension:
      {
        "Version": 1,
        "Language": "DE",
        "SaveName": "Test - PMDG_NGX(u)_Yoke",
        "Data": [
    4. Start the configurator and import the profile, using "Actions" -> "Open Settings" -> "Import Profiles" -> "Select File". After selection, tick the box in the list and "Import Profiles".
    5. In the "Profiles" list I selected the profile.

    Now, when I tilt the yoke forward so I can see the buttons, and select the "MASTER BAT" switch, and choose "Master Bat ON", I can see your assignment fine. What version of the configurator do you have installed? Mine says he is version 2.0.0 ("Actions" -> "Open Settings" -> "About"), but the download was "AS_HONEYCOMB_P3DV4_V2.zip", containing a "AS_HONEYCOMB_P3DV4_V2001.exe", so I guess I have 2.0.0.1. Since the Aerosoft site is a bit weird in its download behavior for these files, if you can't download the latest let me know, I'll attach a copy here.

    Hi,

    Sorry to report that this procedure didn't fix my Problem - all "normal" Key-Commands get through - all custom PMDG-Commands don't - (Light siwtches etc work on default Aircraft with default profile)

    I suspect that the "translator" between the honeycomb-switches an PMDG doesn't work for me - maybe someone from AS can shed some light what that "PMDG activation" does (beside from adding that Entry in the pmdg-profiles)

    b.t.w. in the "Profile Editor" I don's get a display of the conditions and value that are set in the profiles (json-files) but they "work" e.g. the "code" is carried out - maybe that's a clue

    Thanks for the advice - I'll try it, but will be saturday till I'll find time to fire up the gear

    Ok, that is strange, because they are quite common. In fact, the Aerosoft provided profile uses them. Have you entered them using the configurator or manually in the JSON file? If the latter, will you share one of the entries? Also, when Prepar3D is running and you open the addon dialog, does it show both the Honeycomb bridge and the PMDG translator?

    Bert

    I just loaded and activated the profile (which is the one provided in the AS download section) - no editing at all (...first get it running with default - then start editing 😉 ).

    Maybe it helps that in the honeycomb profile GUI none of the variable assignments is shown

    Juergen,

    can you tell me which PMDG L-Vars are not working? Also, just to add to the list of "standard" checks: is "EnableDataBroadcast" set to 1 in the "737NGXu_Options.ini" file?

    Cheers,

    Bert

    Hi Bert

     EnableDataBroadcast is set

    Vars in the json file are

    L:AS_PMDG_737NGX_EVT_MPM_AUTOBRAKE_SELECTOR

    L:AS_PMDG_737NGX_EVT_OH_LIGHTS_POS_STROBE

    L:AS_PMDG_737NGX_EVT_OH_LIGHTS_TAXI

    L:AS_PMDG_737NGX_EVT_OH_LAND_LIGHTS_GUARD

    L:AS_PMDG_737NGX_EVT_OH_LIGHTS_ANT_COL

    L:AS_PMDG_737NGX_EVT_OH_ELEC_STBY_PWR_SWITCH

    L:AS_PMDG_737NGX_EVT_OH_ELEC_STBY_PWR_GUARD

    L:AS_PMDG_737NGX_EVT_OH_ELEC_BATTERY_SWITCH

    I just commented the forum post about the Pilatus Porter which is taking almost three years to be released. And then I see this scenery of EBBR whose topic started in July 2013 and is still not released neither. I'm not mad nor anything but Aerosoft, I think you should post less and work more on your sceneries... Sorry guys it's been a long time since I wanted to tell it but this is really not correct towards your clients, you keep posting amazing pictures but nothing's following...

    4 posts - and 2 of them just to "comment" that it takes to long.

    are you just here to critisize the length of develeopment or do you have anything constructive to say ?

    maybe you just stay away from the preview forum.

  6. have just one question for the previous version were all flights together at the gates my question is whether it has been modified over the flights of the Schengen countries arrive at Terminal A and the flights of the no Schengen countries to Terminal B

    photo of the terminals http://www.fotosop.nl/afbeeldingen/7670801311712pier.PNG

    Schengen countries:

    Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,

    Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg

    Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal

    Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

    no Schengen countries:

    other countries arriving at brussels airport

    Hi!

    to make an AFCAD which can differetiate between "Schengen" and "non Schengen" flight is nearly impossible as you can only code "parking codes" (normally representing airlines).

    What you can do is for that airlines that are serving both areas that you put the "large" spots (747, A330, 777, ....) into the "non Shengen" area - as these are normally long hauls. But I really do not expect that as it would be the first AFCAD that goes into that detail (no offence meant to the dev!!) - There are simply some things out of the real world that can't be done in FS (specially when it comes to AI)

  7. Both products work together very nicely, provided you're using an aircraft that is defined internally by GSX. If you want to use the GSX luggage loader, for example, just disable the rear cargo door in AES and you'll still get the loader for the front door. Same with the left rear airstairs... If you prefer the GSX model, just disable that door in AES.

    Note that this won't work if GSX has to read the intelliscene file for the door data

    Good thinking - particularly as GSX is supporting lot's of aircraft types by now (and I LOVE those AES Jetways!!).

    Gotta try this...

  8. I think the should be a good chance for teaming up these two great products.

    AES is unique in animating jetways and GSX has great potential in custom animations - even on standard airports.

    It would be great if both products could be changed in a way to cooperate and used together (could be a win/win for both) - looking in the different forums thats what a majority of users would like to have

    Happy landings
