  1. Finn/Shaun, Thanks, don't work overtime on this one
  2. Otto, Not sure what you are saying, but this is definitely a bug in the Airbus X! I am pretty sure that this was a restriction programmed in to the systems at a late stage to save frames ... We will hopefully see this one listed together with many others on the yet-to-be-published list of issues.
  3. Thanks Shaun, Well, please define "it" - or better, get hold of someone that does know! It's been 10 days now ...
  4. There is something amiss in the way that N1 % is displayed in AirbusX. Take a close look when you start the engines and you'll see the following sequence: ... 3.8 3.9 3.1 4.0 4.1 4.2 ... 4.8 4.9 4.1 5.0 5.1 5.2 and so forth. Happpens through the entire range, but is easier to spot during slow changes, also happens when reducing N1. My assumption is of course that the above sequence represents the following progression ... 3.8 3.9 3.10 4.0 4.1 4.2 , but only one decimal is shown. Now, I'll leave it up to others to state whether this is just a display problem or the Airbus FADECs use a revolutionary new numbering system. Note that I'm using the BAW A320 in FSX with SP2, maybe those with FSX + Acceleration are seeing things differently?
  5. Every time you change the altitude you must either push (managed mode) or pull (selected mode) the button in order for the new value to be activated. You can crosscheck on the PFD where the new value should be shown at one on the ends of the altitude tape.
  6. Could be any thread, but this is yet another one completely ignored by Aerosoft Support. If it wasn't for a few enthusiastic forum members (Paul G. and Andydigital spring to mind) there would be no help at all for those that need it. Bit laughable really, when you look at this quote from the FAQ at the top of the forum: Q: Any known issues? A: Of course, there's over 200.000 lines of code. Best to check here. But you know Aerosoft, our internal projects are always serviced very fast. Small things we'll handle in a few hours, larger stuff that might need some testing in a day or so. C'mon Aerosoft, show that you still care for your customers!
  7. I never have FSX crashing when exiting an AirbusX flight. Never.
  8. You answered your question in your first post Looks like the FSG08 is the culprit here.
  9. Bob, This is not aimed at you, but Aerosoft ... Why on earth was 1.21 released with something like this not fixed??? Says a lot about the "quality assurance" department, or maybe the managerial procedures
  10. I asked about this here when 1.20 was released, the response from Mathijs is 3 posts below. Seems strange to me that this was only discovered after the release - cough, cough ..
  11. Lars, I wasn't talking to you! (As is quite obvious from my quote...)
  12. Look again, at least my MCDU has a button labelled "DIR" (top left)...
  13. When I read your first thread shortly after release describing your problems I was happy to learn that I was not alone! I also believe that there was somebody else (KONSTANTINOS?) who had similar problems. What in the end solved it for me was to change my default C172 flight to have the avionics switch OFF and then - most importantly - create my own cold'n'dark situation by switching everything off from the default state that Airbus X loads in. I can now select the A320 from the Fly Now! screen, I just have to load the state mentined above - works every time.
  14. What happened to the disappearing TOC and TOC arrows when you've got more than 5 waypoints before TOC or more than 5 waypoints after TOD? Was listed in previous list of known issues ....
  15. Make sure that your FSX Avionics Master switch is set to ON in your default flight.
  16. Dave, Make sure you are using the mouse wheel to change the values, left/right clicking only does push/pull or on/off actions on the Airbus X.
  17. Marc, This post will tell you how to do most of what you're looking for. Incidentally, it took me one minute of searching to find this answer.....
  18. Log in to your account in the Aerosoft Shop and click on your CDG purchase, the FSX version will be there for you. I got mine yesterday
  19. I absolutely love the new ground mechanic: "Bienvenue - bløcks in position!" Brilliant.
  20. <EDIT> Problem solved. Rene, you probably need to register for support first.
  21. Oliver, Just seen that you released AES 1.96 - many thanks for that! Just a small question of how to proceed with regards to EDDF2008 which I have had working with the small fix you described just after EDDF 2008 was released. My plan is as follows: De-select EDDF support in AES 1.95Rename the file (forgot its name) in EDDF 2008 back to it's original nameInstall AES 1.96Select EDDF support in AES 1.96 (and pay the extra 1 credit)Would this work?
  22. You're too easily impressed Mike... From their own news roll: 17 Oct 07 - "Estimated Jan 08" 15 Nov 07 - "Pushed to Feb/Mar 08" 06 Feb 08 - "Mar 08 doubtful, some 4 to 6 additional weeks" 25 Mar 08 - "Hopefully in Apr 08" But then again - if the end result is good, who really cares
