In the vertical you are essentially limited to vertical speed with the AP on for the climb, so you adjust it as needed to maintain your target speeds of 250 knots to 10,000 feet and then 300 knots/Mach 0.78 to cruise altitude.

Thankyou very much for taking the time out for all this information I very much appreciated it.I have just made my purchase of this magnificent piece of history aircraft.Again Thankyou for a wonderful aircraft. Now to sit and study and learn.😊

  2. Thankyou for that information also in regards to autopilot does it have lateral and vertical and any other autopilot features my apologie for the ignorance I’m completely new to such aircraft avionics and so on.

    Thankyou in advance

    Regards.

  3. Hello I’m interested in purchasing this magnificent aircraft however I like to ask besides the manual that it comes with, does it also come with a tutorial flight please as this is a very complex aircraft and I’m only used to cdu fms and autopilot.

e.g. climb performance or in descent under certain circumstances a full loaded A321 needs more drag applied the an fully loaded A318; rotating has to be done more carefully in A321 then in a A318 to avoid tailstrikes due to its length

    Great Thankyou for the information.

    Regards.

Different size, different weights, different performance, different range, different behaviour in flight.

Cockpit layout is the same; The A318 only is certified for steep approach like London City Airport.

Different behaviour in flight you say please explain?

    Regards.

  6. I understand however i have already got PMDG QOTS installed on the computer which was a download from PMDG so OS is already installed there what I’m worried about that will this new 737 which is a DVD purchase from Aerosoft override the OS or anything else? And here you only have updates for the FSX Version but not P3D V4 so do i get the updates from the OS?This is not clear to me.

     Thankyou.

Thanks, it looks like a duplicate of some kind. I notice with Windows 10 there is a docs folder under One Drive as well as a folder under "users\username\Documents\". It really confuses things for me. I really  liked Windows 7 with only one documents folder. Anyway, here is the screen shot of the products folder under One Drive:

So what OS are you running Windows 7 or 10 the Operrating systems have a huge difference on how they do things due to 10 been more modern and in doing things compared to the ageless windows 7.I suggest you stick with the win 10 if you don’t want any hiccups.

    Cheers and blue skies up.

  8. Just installed my A318/A319 professional everything went smoothly except I didn’t disable my AV and it took one of the exe.files away but got it back from the AV and tested P3D loaded airbus and bingo there it was stading on the i fogogot whatever runway it was.I checked cockpit and outside view absolutely outstanding the A318/A319 professional all i have to do now is take it for a spin.

    Regards.

  9. Hello today i successfully updated my P3D v4.2 to version 4.3 using the full installer but using only the client, content, scenery to update. Also deleted p3d.cfg file and shaders folder straight after client update. The P3D updated without any errors or glitches whatsoever and fully tested as i also have 2 other aircraft addons so i wanted to make sure that all is working perfectly. When i have time i will install my brand new purchased shiny A318/A319 professional.

    Regards.

While it might work (example for me) when you do only the client Update for P3D, by exactly following the guidelines from LM, we have seen too many cases where for whatever reason client updates went wrong or the complete P3D installation was faulty for other reasons and therefore only a fresh install of P3D solved the problems.

I appreciate you kind help and like to try and see if it will work for me as well. The only reason I don’t want to go for full install as I have two other aircraft add ons installed and reinstalling them would be a pain.I don’t have any problems running these two aircraft add ons or the p3d since installed 6 months ago.The p3d files that Iam also worries about is the content ones as I don’t know if the A318-A319 needs those files updated as this states in the p3d update only files forum.

Note: Completing a Content Update will possible overwrite files like effects, Simobjects, sounds and textures that have been Modified by 3rd Party Software (Add On's)

    regards.
