  1. After a thorough look and flight in the Bronco, I have come up with some questions 1. Fuel ... I noticed the fuel quantity in your model is different than the american build is this something just from the Luftwaffe. The average Bronco had 252 gallons of onboard fuel in 5 bladders in the Wing, plus a selection of external 150 Gal, or 230 Gal, and 2 100 gal tanks on wing hardpoints... I dont get your number of 500. question 2. Your flight characteristics, are kind of limited, with NO full military warning by-pass...and a max speed of 221kia@15 thousand feet........... in the real world 310 kilometers was a real creation which equals around 244 knots @ 10k feet. comment You need to add a little more torque to achieve (almost reality) to match the incredable reality of the art. 3. last but not least NAV lights.... instead of the pear shape you give a tube shape ? one more 4. Why are the textures all done in 1024 resolute, when FSX allows 2048 (better detail). Not complaining...... just wanting to help better the project..

  2. As an Aerosoft customer, and supporter............ tough titty said the kitty, I bought it at full price, and could not be more satisfied with a product, It was just a touch of luck, or lack thereof that I did not purchase today vs yesterday. If someone has a sale on a product, but you have to drive fourty miles to get it, is is still a sale ? sure I would rather have the lesser price..... I am not a model make, but based on what I have flown since fs98..........cmon now.......... give the artists credit.......... just "plane" (pun intended) bad luck we could not have waited..... my only regret was it came out as a luftwaffe unit, instead of one the the beta 01 or 02 models from Rockwell the "TRUE" creator of the bird............... Thanks again aerosoft !!! AND IM ON SOCIAL SECURITY

  3. I am going to assemble a package for you.... test it and upload for you..... should have it completed tonight ................ It is sooo appreciated how someone who creates a way to relive the past by recreating tools for others to to relive that past........... after all everyones future comes from their past.... thanks Mathijs, and Markus, perhaps if you ever make it to Amerika you will enjoy what has been done @ Meachum Field in Fort Worth.... especially with all the new additions John

  4. Would one of you guys give me an email, I could send you a file for your upcomming release. a long time ago while doing corrections on Tim Conrads Bronco, I created some files from original photos, and memory to use his bird.......... I would like you guys to have these files for your upcomming release. one of them is the gunsight ! It would be my honor, for you guys to use as you see fit, If it would enhance your work. also a Special Paint I think is easy... and would be a great paint to add to your civil BroncoX ............... Signed John

  5. I Only have 2. 1. The Bronco was designed for quick escape ..... so a 70 degree turn was not out of the ordinary, I had problems with the yaw, while makeing a full military turn to port, starboard was just fine. 2. On my night check ride, it seems their was a black shadow, all through the cockpit (maybe alpha) it created a vision problem in that you had No distinction of inside /outside. The term "On a clear nite, you casn see forever is true in aviation. p.s. My grandchildren think I have gone bananas. So you guys have done everything right. ooooooops forgot about the sound. btw I applaud the job you did with the warnings like when bringing the throttle back to the stops, you get the flashing gear transition light. with the gimbles warning. here was the sound problem, while descending for final to KCMH, as my altitude dropped just under 6k feet, the sound suddenly went from normal above feather, the jet whine came in, and sound did not return to normal till I went to flaps, down and dirty for landing. my specs are Dell 2.2gig WinXPPro, nVidia GTX7600vid, FX2kCreative labs sound total 5gig in/outmem.......... Further.....when you appreciate something it is hard to make a complaint..... again thank you for an outstanding piece of work

  6. Albeit, I can no longer strap on heavy metal anymore ! A LITTLE IMPRESSION OF MY FIRST FLIGHT: Flight loads in Hotbox MCAS Beaufort, S.C. for a short flight of 455 miles north to Rickenbacker ANG base Columbus, OH. I kept my eyes closed as I hit the "S" button for external view to do my walk around..... A word for my first view was AWESOME great art.. a Few small graphics nics, but nothing to complain about... so I return to the cockpit, and I automatically fly through the Bronco pre-flight that had ben burned into my brain from 2346 hours of seat time. In nothing flat, I KNEW it was something special when I hit the start button, and heard a familiar whine.... and when things came to life, and I started rotating through the electricals, and Radio pre-call settings, I was thoroughly impressed, and once again had a familiar feeling in the pit of my stomach..... but that was NOTHING after I gave a taxi call and tickled the left throttle to come around to the right, and taxied to takeoff position . IF I CLOSED MY EYES, and a little imagination later.... as the maintenance shed passed me by in a blur, I had reached rotation, and gently pulled back on the stick, the transition from ground roll to flight had come and gone...... once again I was ATO, and begin my ascent to 9700 feet for a slow 185 knot flight... completed my checklist, and went through my safety routine of gauges........... vision around the aircraft, and begin scanning for other aircraft within my line of flight....... I cannot explain how I truely felt, It has been so so many years.......... The sound, and the feel of this pc generated flight brought many, many emotions back........... I cannot believe someone thought enough to make a computer aircraft about as real as you can within flightsims guidelines.... God has truely blessed me this christmas with this aircraft, the nomenclature of some items may be a little different, but all in all it was a DAMNED OUTSTANDING PIECE OF SOFTWARE. I will await in angst for the upcomming releases. BUT please.... remove the GPS, If we had one of these back then many would have taken a hammer to it....... signed J R Ferrell Capt USMCRet

  7. 3 days before the start of the US Airwar against Iraqs invasion of Kuwait, While stationed as a FAC (Forward Air Controller) 10 miles SW of Al Khafji, A US A-10 Thunderbolt encountered a dual engine failure, 2 miles from my position, and I watched the pilot heroically bring the Hog down intact in Iraqi territory.... I radioed for a Jolly Green rescue, and received a reply of eta 15 mikes (15 Minutes). Our team did not think the downed pilot had that much time, so we fired up the hummer, and proceeded to go after the pilot...... along with about 5 other hummers from the Marines, none of us got to the pilot first, unbeknown to us, this aircrafts wingman, had followed this pilots landing, and was in the process of picking up his friend (The iraqi infantry had decided to leave the area in a hurry, with some surrenders). As we reached the downed Warthog, the second Hog was in a takeoff roll, and I changed to fm to talk to the Hog pilot on takeoff and ask if he needed help, his answer was negative, but requested we secure, or destroy the downed Hog should we become compromised, and that he and his rescue would return with a new apu board, if they could. Well before they could return, I switched over to TAC frequency, hearing my callsign, acknowledged our presence, and was informed to de-ass the area immediatly. I hand signalled the Marines around us to leave in a hurry, to which we departed back to our lines, but before we travelled 1 mile, the downed Warthog was creamed by a Maverick from an F-16 out of Dubai. I filled out an incident report to CENTCOM HQ, and that was the end of it. The Marine Unit that made the rescue attemp with us I believe was the 2Battalion, 2d Marines, I was attached to VMA225, and on Temporary assignment to CENTCOM, I need some help, If you or anyone else observed this incident, Please email me through the forum

  8. Before I left to go overseas, WHEN i got the Falcon, I noticed their was only 1 update, after looking at history, I see their has been 3 updates, but only the 1.20 update is on the downloads section, and I have the 1.0 downloadable version, IS the 1.20 the only update I need after install.... thanks guys for such an excellent aircraft...... NOW IF you would continue with the BRONCO

  9. Hello ddeuce,

Interesting find that, I don't believe anybody has mentioned that before.

<Visible>(A:LIGHT PANEL, bool) 0 ==</Visible> <---- If you change this line to: <Visible>(A:LIGHT CABIN, bool) 0 ==</Visible> then the mirrors in the 2s won't go out when you turn on the panel lights, BUT, if you hit the "L" fs9 default for lights, then the mirrors again will go out, I also changed the image to show the engine in each respective mirror......... to do this all you need do is go into slew 2d get a screenshot facing the rear....... and edit with your image editor to size re-cab and viola.........

  10. My mirror problem is the mirros in the 2d pit, during taxi they are fine, when I leave the ground after vr, and retract gear, they go black, vc mirrors are fine, I would imagine these are alpha channel........ thanks

Never mind, The problem is with the bool "Panel Lighting" when panel lights are on mirrors are off.......... PROBLEM SOLVED

  11. Hello ddeuce,

Is the problem with the mirrors in the VC! If so make sure that you have Reflections checked in the Display settings under the Aircraft tab.

As for the Bronco write to me at support@aerosoft.com regarding this and I'll forward your mail to someone who may know who to contact.

  12. Guys, I just jumped into my Hog at King Khalid for a short hop to Baghdad, when I happened to notice the mirrors were black, not the usual alpha style, any ideas fs9 (all updates) winxpSP2 thanks in advance Johnny also, you guys created a model of the OV-10a (fs9) a while back but since have changed your mind about production, who would I contact about purchase of this model (finished or not), I have everything from 3d max to abacus fsds 3.5, but do not have enough talent to create one......... it is for a VERY GOOD CAUSE 1. The California Department of Forestry and 2d for the OV-10 Bronco association of which I am a member.

  13. I too am a Bronco enthusiast, and DO recommend it's production, AND IF ANY...I MEAN ANY research material needed, I have it from deminsions to capacities, with all due respect to Mr. Conrads model, it's ok but not great, not enough fuel tanks, dash is totally incorrect on "A" as well as "D"..... AND if their are ANY model builders out there who would like to do a Bronco project, I could use the help, I couldn't model for crap, but I am a heck of a panel builder (a,b,d,e,f model completed), my original model Builder, has been re-assigned to Iraq compliments of Uncle Sam........ p.s. out sponsor is the OBA (OV10 Bronco Association)........... My Invite is open you may email me qq2ofus@msn.com use Bronco as subject line Johnny
