Hi Heinz, Perhaps you can help: I am missing the files below in red from my bitmaps folder. I downloaded a newly purchased XP11 download version. Didn't touch anything. It installed it to the deskttop. When I tried to open XP11 it said "could not open the graphics interface and accused me of moving the xp directory out of the folder which I did not do. I discovered the missing bitmaps after looking at the log file. But now what do I do to fix this?
Can you send me the missing bitmaps or must I redownload? It took all night to download the first time and did not say it encountered any problems. Also, in the download folder there was no updater.Another user had the same problem except he was not missing the below files in red - I am.Hello Paul
if 'C:\Users/Dad/Desktop/X-Plane 11/' is the install directory of X-Plane,you have to start X-plane from inside of this folder.Using a copy of xplane.exe placed on your desctop (or somewhere else) will not work.Please check the existence of these files:"C:\Users/Dad/Desktop/X-Plane 11/Resources/bitmaps/black.png""C:\Users/Dad/Desktop/X-Plane 11/Resources/bitmaps/black_opaque.png"
