Hi guys,
110.30 MHz used to be the frequency for the ILS 25L in BRU.
It changed to 110.35MHz a few years ago now...
So it's a typo in the manual, the frequency specified in the AFCAD file is correct!
Cheers,
Sylvain

Hello René,
Yes I also see this issue and will see what can be done about it.
Hello Shaun,
I already reported this to Cornel on the official Dreamfactory Studios support forum in Nov 2007.
As far as I understand his reply this is due to the way the terminal has been modelled. There must be another technique that doesn't suffer from this problem as other developers manage to model glass properly in their sceneries.
It would be great if you could renew the interest in this issue.
Regards,
Sylvain

Hmmm... I was planning to upgrade my EDDF2005 to the newer 2008 version but after reading the comments above, I think I'll wait for now...
The performance of the 2005 version is excellent here... I'm not willing to sacrifice fps just to get some newer buildings/terminals and other details...
Could other users compare their fps between the 2005 and the 2008 version???
Do you all see a decrease in fps?
Cheers,
Sylvain

BTW, since installing the 3GB patch, I also have problems with AES missing out half the wav files when flying from an AES airport: I get 'blocks in position', but no jetway warning siren: I get 'boarding completed', but no ongoing 'welcome aboard' messages after requesting boarding, and so on. The wav files are all there in the AES sound folder and play correctly in Windows Media Player..
Is this another consequence of the 3GB patch, or could it be due to some other fault? I reinstalled AES 1.95a, but the problem persists ..
M.
Hi Martin,
Does this happen with all your add-on aircraft?
I also have exactly the same problem sometimes and I think I noticed (should check further) it only happens with certain aircraft add-ons.
Maybe something to check on your side as well.
I don't use the 3GB patch by the way.
Best regards,
Sylvain

I guess it's better not to open the nose-section on the ground when there are gusting winds

Ok fine,
then I put it in a installer update on Monday.
Hello Oliver,
can you let us know when the installer has been updated on the website please?
Thanks,

Hello guys!
Is the FS2004 version included in the recently released 'Mega Airport Brussels X' identical to the previous 'Brussels 2007' package (only released for FS2004) or has it been improved/modified in any way?
Thanks!
Best Regards,

Hi Peter,
there is already a topic regarding this problem.
It may be a good idea to check and follow up the following post to keep the feedback of Aerosoft grouped in one post.

Let's hope we will find a solution soon...

Hello Folks,
Have you checked your accounts at Simmarket to see if the link has been made available there!!
Hi Shaun,
no link in our account for us simmarket buyers unfortunately
Simmarket asks us to contact Cornel directly to see how we can obtain our promised FS X update.
Some of us are trying to contact him via his own Dreamfactory EBBR support forum but it seems Cornel isn't checking it regularly...
Maybe you can pass him the message next time you guys are in touch?
Thanks,
Sylvain

I also would like to wish you a very happy birthday Shaun!
Congrats!!

Thanks Shaun,
you convinced me to buy it directly from the Aerosoft Store
Already succesfully installed in FS2004 and AES activated... I hope to have some time to do a testflight tonight!

Hi guys!
Now that all the problems seem to be solved with Heatjrow 2008, I'd like to purchase this great airport.
As I already have an account at simmarket, I was thinking of buying it there instead of creating a new account here at Aerosoft...
Easier to keep track of all these accounts and passwords
I do have some questions though...
- Will I be able to register my Heathrow 2008 product here on the aerosoft page to access the product support page?
AND
- Will I be able to apply future patches for this product immediately or will I have to wait for an updated version from simmmarket? Does simmarket always need to update its download or can we apply the aerosoft patches like the users who bought it directly from aerosoft?
Just asking as I don't want to get problems like some PSS users have when they purchased their 777 from just flight instead from PSS directly, only to find they can't update it afterwards with the files from PSS.
(DISCLAIMER: I'm not bashing the PSS product in any way, just writing this here to clarify my question)
Thanks in advance for your replies!
Best regards,
Sylvain

Cornel stated on his forum he has a lot of work right now.
I sure hope he'll find some time to check with Oliver if it's possible to add AES support in his EBBR scenery...
Would be great!

Hello Tom,
All you need do really is re-install the program and then your credits and re-activate everything.
I'm planning to buy a new computer soon so I would also like to make sure I understood it correctly...
After a fresh FS9 install (+ sceneries) on the new PC, I can either
- re-enter the credit codes I received previously by mail (simmarket) to activate the same airports I had activated on my old PC.
or
- I can backup and copy the content of the AES folder of the old PC to the new one?
Is this correct?
Thanks you guys for a fantastic product!
Regards,
Sylvain
