  1. Forum members need to remember this is a company forum for which they set the rules. This isn't a generic "free for all" "say what you like" forum and as such, company staff and anyone empowered to moderate on here can do so according to the rules the company has set for themselves.

Having content hidden/removed isn't anything new here - there've been plenty of warnings in the past about these actions being taken yet people still carry on without regard for this and are surprised/kick off a fuss when the rules are applied.

Would you be happy with some of the comments/vitriol posted here being posted on your own or employers sit for you to read?

There's a way to get points and frustrations over without the need for the tone of some of the posts I've seen here over the last short period...

You really have to be so novice to not care about wing flex...

I'm no novice, been simming since FS98, have nearly 7,000 hours on VATSIM plus all the offline hours and I don't care about wing flex.

I do get though for some people it's a deal breaker as they're into external visuals more than I (and many others) are and will want to see those vibrations etc during the flight.

so i think many people know that msfs is kinda "yellow-ish". For example the clouds or white textures in general. Thats why I use reshade.

And as seen in this picture of the real Lufti a330:

and this one from you for example:

you can really notice a difference in the white. Now i know that has to do with the lighting and how clean the aircraft is. But I still see it as too "yellow-ish". Is there anyway to fix this minor issue? Personally, i dont have any issues with coloring since I use reshade. Just wanted to let you know and beautiful pictures btw

There could be a number of factors affecting the shading as seen in the pic and screenshot - time of day, position of sun relative to camera angle, cloud cover between sun and object, post processing on photographs (I've lightened numerous aviation photos slightly due to ambient light conditions).

I'm sure any white based livery that comes with it will be white

Eh bien, ne me laissez pas vous arrêter!

Look, I feel a bit guilty about the whole sound thing. I should not have posted that video. My bad.  It does not reflect what the aircraft will sound like, just as the first images we shared a looooong time ago do not reflect what the product would like. That is why it was labelled work in progress etc. And honestly, while it 'exploded' on the forum, I did not care a lot. Why counter the arguments from people who made up their minds? If you made a mistake, as I did, it is better to sit still and not dig a deeper hole. Hans Hartmann told me that a long time ago, and he is right. We are testing new sounds right now and will do so until release.

So what I did is traditional, showed some nice pictures and deflected the issue. In many ways, the flightsim community has gotten a bitter edge where haters will hate, and people made up their minds before they have even seen a product. So be it.

Unfortunately, a lot of people in the flight sim community at large forget what "work in progress" actually means - they assume that things are being shown because that element is complete when it isn't necessarily the case!

I wouldn't say what you shared was a mistake - perhaps putting a massive watermark over any video/image that clearly states it's WIP so it can't be edited out for broadcast elsewhere will help...

  5. Editing an aircraft's files to add a livery is not required in MSFS.  Whether Aerosoft create a Livery Manager or not, any third party liveries are simply dropped into the Community folder will show for the A330 as they do for the Twin Otter and CRJ (provided they've had the correct paths set in it's own files!)

Thanks for this information. Do you have photos or know a place where the latest changes have been documented?

The changes regarding N1 being crossed out are not yet visible at latest Eurocontrol charts.

    Bests,

    ...and BA liveries..

BA is a strange one as they never ordered the A330?  Unless you're including some fictional liveries?

If your Far East market is good enough, I'd suggest Hainan and Air China as they're larger operators of the -300 with RRs,  Brussels Airlines and Swiss have a good number also in Europe.  Saudi are another RR operator with a large fleet depending on the Middle East market?

  8. Would have been great to have had this in it but it was only anchored here (off Lee On Solent, UK) during the week past... USS Gerald R Ford:

Have seen some pics from those that managed to fly by the other day (when weather significantly better - my only day off was God awful...) and the overhead shots were spectacular
