  3. Yes!!! It finally works! I deleted all yoke and throttle mappings except for throttle, flaps, gear and roll/pitch. Now I'm going to re-map every button and axis I need one by one to find the culprit. It wasn't the trim (I'd already deleted that one). I'll report back when I've found it. This was really driving me crazy.

  4. I'm still learning the CRJ and struggling with managing my speeds, but I'm greatly enjoying the process and am quite impressed with it so far. With that said, there are two extremely minor things that I'd love to see changed which would eliminate a couple of annoyances: The dial to adjust the DH is brutally slow. I just timed myself and it took 25 seconds to set a DH of 200 ft. Interestingly, this moves reasonably quickly if MDA is selected instead so hopefully this is an easy change. I find setting the landing elevation to be extremely awkward and I always forget to

  5. Hello friends. Aside from the real-world stuff and other flightsim things, I have been busy with another major project of mine. This is Boeing 737NG and Boeing 777 accurate aircraft cockpit configs for PMDG and iFly models. I have been doing this since 2015 in personal purposes, and for the Ukrainian flightsim community since 2017. Now, with the experience, deep research and understanding, I decided to do all the airline operators of the world in order to increase the quality of flight simming. Many popular airlines like Ryanair, Emirates, Norwegian are already done w

  7. Firstly, just want to state how much I love the 700/550, I have had an off and on relationship with flight simulating for some years but I have been absolutely obsessed with the crj since its release. I don't think I have been this enthralled with the simulation experience since I was introduced to FSX at 12 years old. I cannot wait for the crj 900/1000 release and am curious when we can expect to hear a status update about it and perhaps see some previews? I also apologize if this is not the appropriate forum for this inquiry. Again, thank you to the Aero

  8. How to find and save the Community Folder location ? The community folder is one of the key folders of Flight Simulator. Sometimes you have to check what is in it or even delete its content in case of issues like crashes to desktop CTD after an update or an installation of a new program that went wrong. The location (path) of this folder depends on your system, and how Flight Simulator is installed as well as if your simulator is the DVD or downloadable / Steam version. We will see how to find out where it is located on YOUR system. We stron

  9. Hmm Very next flight all back to normal. The only difference was I sat at the gate for about two hours due to a "crash to wife" before I finished setting everything up on the anomalous flight.

  12. Maybe we also need to discuss the issue here. I put a liitle more investigation into this. I can confirm that you can move the jetways at pos. 54, 55, 57 inside the control of SODE 1.7.1. But GSX will not work and shows the Gates within "customize airport positions" with /J instead /JS as with all the ones at Terminal B and C. I looked into file "EDDB_AFX-OP01-BER.bgl" and found the parkings (54, 55, 57) to be declared as type "Parking". Then I looked into the file "AJS_EDDB_SODE.XML" and found these parkings declared as type "GATE". After changing the

  13. This is already on our bug tracker. You are correct that the external power avail light should illuminate with GPU applied, even with the battery switch off. Although in the real CRJ you can indeed apply external power without first turning on the battery, doing so is not recommended. There are multiple relays that close simultaneously in both the DC and AC electrical systems when the GPU power is applied without battery power, which can sometimes induce faults in various computers. Applying battery power first will close many of the DC relays before the external AC power is brought on

  14. For testing purpose try CRJ without anything else in the community folder and without vatsim software, FSUIPC, littlenavmap etc. edit delete navigraph AIRAC if installed.

  15. Nice! It isn't obvious what issues bindings can cause from my experience so it is easy to miss. Especially when the state in the cockpit looks normal. IE: The internal state doesn't match the UI.

  19. Basic flap and minimum speed schedule: Flap 8 -> Flap 20 -> Gear Down, Flap 30 -> Flap 45 180kts min -> 170kts min -> 160kts min -> Vref For the OP, try not to drop below 160kts with flap 30 (yes, it is a real CRJ flap setting) as depending on weight and airport elevation, temperature etc, a speed of 145kts is basically Vref for that flap setting, and you could get on the wrong side of the drag curve quite easily.

  20. Hello All, with my 8 years old pc with 4770K@4,1Ghz and upgraded RAM to 32GB and 1080Ti 11GB VRAM CRJ runs just so great and stutterfree anywhere I fly (online IVAO), I'm really happy. My FPS is between 20-30 but stable, it is incomparable with others addons, yet. Rado

  21. A good deal of that is due to the use of C++ and not HTML/Javascript. All complex aircraft will have to be done with C++.

  24. World of Aircraft: Glider Simulator is all about gliders. In every possible shape and size. The World WoA: Glider Simulator is set around a small airfield on the borders of the Rhine river in Germany (we used Herrenteich Flugplatz as inspiration). This airfield is a typical small airfield. Very calm in winter but on fine summer days it is very active. From early morning flights to other airfields (Google '$100 hamburger' and you get some idea) to BBQs in the late evening. It is a place where you make friends and meet friends. Flying is a hobby for the people ther

  27. I am able to duplicate this problem. I flew YSSY CRAVN COOPA SANAD YBBN at FL330. Initial course from YSSY to CRAVN was 002 degrees with a left crosswind of 45 knots. Indeed, the aircraft was constantly hunting left and right trying to find a stable wind correction angle and failing to do so. The legs from CRAVN to COOPA to SANAD were chosen to move the course track from 002 to 318 degrees, and as soon as the aircraft turned to the new heading the aircraft found and held a constant wind correction with no oscillation at all. I definitely think this is induced by having

  28. I've had this issue as well. I don't know if it starts the ALTS CAP too early or if it just reduces the vertical speed too abruptly but it takes forever to capture an altitude (as the OP showed in the video)

  29. You and I both, I thought it was strange that the preview section of the CRJ was closed when the 900/1000 is still planned for release, frankly I'm going to be as hyped for that as I was the 700/550! To quote Jaws...... well kind of my VA "is going to need a bigger boat!"
