Hello, Thank you all for this wonderful aerial control simulator I love starting with arrival departure global atc Thank you to you all Pascal

After 31 arrivals and 17 departures over an hour, with a few cautions on final, this session got a little too much lol A lot of fun though !

Just got the simulation. Very nice. One problem that I am encountering is the "Maximum Aircraft" setting on the opening screen. Whatever number I set, the sim always goes over that number. To what does "Maximum Aircraft" refer? Toatal aircraft that appears or total aircraft resolved (landed or departed)? Thanks Joe

Hi All I have all the other tutorials 3 *Arrivlals and the Munich Hell but no departure Clive

Just started EGCC(Manchester) First 3 outbounds were: CAL 4855 to: Monty AFR 8075 to: Hon BAW7908 to: Desig ..and this is where they fly 'direct to'....no surprise there!, hence the to: in the flight strip. But as we all know they should fly the SID as per departure direction and active runway. Yes you have the command 'CAL 4855 J MONT1R', but ATC does not allocate SIDs at departure time, unless there are very special circumstances. FMC already programmed before leaving the gate! So, after reading another post on this forum, this is perhaps a 'game' and not a 'simulation' Unless I've missed something! Clive

If the flight strips exceeds the screen and you have to 'scroll' through them you can't pick up if a flight as declared an 'emergency' unless it happens to be on the screen at the time! I've just had a situation where I had held departures for some time and when released ended up declaring 'low fuel', but I missed this as the flight strip was at the top of the list and I was working on the bottom of the list! As there is no 'voice' would it be possible to 'flag' any issue somewhere on the screen so we are made aware of them. Then we can 're focus' on these flights Thanks Clive

Hi, Excellent demo. The 20 minutes flew over! Could someone advise me whether or not EGNT - Newcastle Intl, is included in the full version, before I buy it. Thanks, Ian.

  8. After purchasing GATC and messing around at KLAX, I'm noticing that many aircraft are using STARs which are inappropriate for the current winds and runways in use. I control Los Angeles on VATSIM - runways 6 and 7 are only to be used late at night or if the winds prevail out of the east at greater than 10 knots. Instead I'm having aircraft assigned to STARs for both east and west ops in the middle of the day when they shouldn't be using OCEAN2 and such at all. Is there any way to restrict which procedures the aircraft will use? EDIT: Fixed by deleting the inappropriate stars in the navdata file itself.

First, let me congratulate you to this nice new product. It's really fun. I especially like the ability to control many assignments with the mouse. That works well except for assigning transitions (or other procedures). I have not found a way to assign them with the mouse. I know that I can assign one with a command like SWR1534 J I08L_MIQ. I would suggest any of the following means to assign procedures with the mouse: Select the aircraft, then double-click the corresponding transition in the procedures windows - or - Drag the aircraft to a leg on a transition, however, this could be harder as the transitions sometimes overlap or share some legs. Bes…

These vector lines are not proportional to the speed of the aircraft (ie the faster the aircraft the longer the vector line) Would it be possible to make these proportional to aircraft speed? That way especially when traffic volume is high it would give a visual indication of aircraft speed Clive

Hi, First of all, I have only played the demo. I am considering buying the full game, because I like it. :-) But.. I have noticed a few things. The visible approach line seems to be not correctly, but it is. I do not know if this problem is in the full game at other airports aswell. For example EDDM 08L/R course is 082 and it is set correctly in the SDK Airport settings. Although it won't fit correctly with the extended centerline. In this picture, 08L course is (incorrectly) set to 081 and 08R is unchanged, so 082. Does that mean the runway centerline isn't correct? Secondly, MUN was unreadable for me the first time. I have no problems with…

Hello, Would there be any chance of an option of a middle mouse click or something that will show the realitve flight path of an aircraft ? It certainly comes in handy when you ain't too familular with the airports SIDs and STARs. So for an inbound aircraft, if we can click on, or even just hover over the aircraft with the mouse it will show the procedure its intending to fly by means of visual flight path on the scope. ( Draw a line on the scope in blue showing the procedure to the FAP ) Possible ? Thanks in advance Adam

  13. This really looks like a great release team, one I will be getting soon after trying the demo. I was just reading your FAQ and have a suggestions to possibly cure one of your points. Q: Airlines? A: A bit more difficult as for every airline we have to add all the aircraft they use and all the destinations they fly to. And there are a LOT of airlines (one even called LOT) and there are no easy to use databases for this. So while there are many airlines included, the list is not complete. We'll keep adding them and we hope customer will to. But from the start you will see the correct airlines with the correct aircraft at all airports. How about a simple tool to…

I sent 4 aircraft to 'line up and wait' pressed the button on each aircraft strip. They collided with each other, surely they would just follow each other out to the runway holding point in the order you sent them. Then when ready you cler each aircraft for departure Why would they collide with each other on the 'taxi out'? Clive

  15. We are a bit surprised by the high number of downloads of the demo from Germany and have decided to speed up the translation of the manual to German. It will also be available in French, Spanish and Portuguese. The software however will stay in English as that is the standard language of ATC. it also allows us to speed up any further development.

The most likely cause of an error on startup is the lack of the correct .NET files. You need .NET Framework 4 Full (http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=17718) and not just the far smaller client setup.
