  1. Started by GPan099,

Is there a way to adjust the display brightness of the FCU panel's numbers for speed, hdg, alt & vs? The rrestt of the panel displays are bright but those remain very dim, almost unreadable. (I'm pretty sure it's operator error!) Thanks.

  2. As I commenced the final portion of the Rwy 13 IGS approach to VHHX I pressed the V/S FPA button and then APPR (LS not engaged). I then noticed "LS" (landing speed?) flashing amber on the PFD. The a/c flew the approach as expected. Can't find a reference to "LS". What does the LS annunciation mean and why was it on? Thank you

  3. Started by wreckitraph,

Hi, I've recently availed of your product and am currently a type-rated A320 pilot. I'd just like to ask why the "yo-yo" or the magenta donut indicating VDEV as well as the actual VDEV that shows when you arm the approach on the FCU are both showing green instead of the standard magenta? Am I missing any setting or will you be updating this? You seem to have updated the aircraft lots of time already so I'm assuming that this was intentional and not an oversight. Would appreciate your feedback. Cheers

Excuse me! I've posted my message yesterday regarding Autopilot and Elevator Issues during cruise and I've yet to get a response or help regarding the problem. Everytime I get to cruise and set autopilot and autothrust and altitude hold the plane will not stay level most of the time because the elevtors are not stable. Can I some support regarding this matter?

  7. Title is self explanatory. I programmed the approach into the FMS, all fine and good, when i arrived into Heathrow i noticed that the approach route had this strange circular thing programmed in, for future flights, how can i remove this? This was the 09R approach usuing the LOGA1H arrival and LAM transistion. As you can see from my second screenshot the approach is WAY off the mark. I use navigraph and the have the latest NAV data

  8. I have reinstalled the airbuses as one flight i load in and the map screens are zoomed into a quater of it so really big, Reinstall doesnt help and wondered if anyone has had this before or got any suggestions how to fix this.

  9. Started by Jason Olson,

After doing the full reinstall for the new update, I noticed a bug where the pitch trim is constantly moving making the pitch oscillate up and down during all phases of flight. Weather was clear so had no factor in this. Thank you Jason Olson

  10. I had several successful managed RNAV approaches on an A319 to EDDH runway 33. Doing the same with A330 failed. FMS did not control the vertical profile properly. V/DEV is correctly displayed on PFD and MCDU PROG page. I saved the flight before final approach. See attached files. In order to be sure that I haven't made a relevant mistake, I performed the same flight on the A319, which worked fine as expected. The saved flight files are also attached. I'm on Prepar3D 4.5 (4.5.13.32097), the A319 is release 1.3.1.0, the A330 is release 1.0.2.0. Training A319 EDDL 23L EDDH 33 RNAV approach.abx training a319 eddl 23l eddh 33 rnav approach.asc tra…

  12. Hi I have done this route twice and twice its happened that i have odd characters for the VAPP ... the route is .. EGHQ-EGKK...departure runway 30....crz at FL250...DCT DAWLY N17 OTMET OTME1G runway 08R trans from WILLO ...ZFW was 140.349 kgs and 12.469kgs of fuel set, it also seems to lose the descent profile, it happens even if i feel out the app page or leave it blank......WIN10...P3D 4.5 HF2 used and the latest A330 update, at first it all appeared fine till i flew some of the route then i got what is in the screenshot. Thanks Rich

Updated to the latest. Used the Fuel Planner to load fuel; had the FPL all showing the legs okay in the left MCDU; wnbt through all the Checklists although I will admit I detest the GSX pushback and would rather use the alternative(not default); took off..............and that's where the problems start. Despite setting a low initial ALT of 29000ft, followed the flashing above the speed tape to set THR CLB, and then watched aghast, an angle of attack 20 degrees(have never had it more than 10 degrees in any heavies I have flown) as the speed bled despite the A/THR being on auto, to a display of A.Floor now showing with AP1 on auto too, to a ridiculous 140kts; th…

  14. I have been practicing an RNAV approach to Kathmandu runway 02 with the A330 in P3D v5. The aircraft flies the RNAV correctly, but L/DEV and V/DEV display in flashing amber with no deviation markers on the PFD. Should the V/DEV deviation marker display on the PFD for an RNAV approach, or is this functionality absent on the A330?

  15. Started by airbusA333,

Moving thrust levers from CL gate within the A/THR area in cruise and AP on, starts to idle the aircraft slowing down and it shouldnt. If moving the thrust levers it should only change to idle if set to 0. Please fix cause this Is a bug?

  16. Started by keeshan,

hi can we use now the OFFSET with the last update on P3Dv4 /v5 ?

  17. I always been flying the A320/21 But it's been 6 months since I last flight and trying to get make my memories. When I take off the aircraft tends to not do what it should do, climb that extra higher with nose up higher. And I get "toga lk" blinking at me. Never had that problem before and the speeds are also very low and it's not doing the speeds to what it been setup to do. I was able to climb to 2000 feet then pull back on the thrust then move it back to CL then able to setup speed then it goes away. Also one of my flights I had to set speed manual since the MCMU isn't doing it, It is but under 5000 feet and still doing 250knots? hell no, wante…

  18. I am using the latest Update ( 1.0.0.10) Beta). P3D V4.5H2 and flew a few days (every day this week) with the 330. Using Navigraph subscription since +1 Year. Since later today (after 12 o Clock I think) I can login to the Navigraph browser and click to "yes, allow" the Aerosoft a330 Configurator (started with admin rights) won´t update anymore and does not show the "green status text which indicates I did login succesfullly to use the navigraph charts. Starting a flight and a quick look into the EFB a error message at the EFB is shown in red. Important: Earlier this morning it worked flawlessly, also the days before. But since a started my second…

  19. I did a search for "font problem" and didn't find anything. With the new airbus 318-21 The font of the navigation display is to big. see picture Pierre

  20. Started by Julian Fenton,

Have this with the A330 and now A318-19, anyone got a fix please? And the EFB fonts are weird too. P3D V5 Cheers, Stoneman

  21. Lockheed Martin® Prepar3D® v4 2020-05-29 15-04-29 - Copy.mp4 I recently bought the A330 professional for my Prepar3DV4 a few months back and I started playing it yesterday as I came back home then. My problem seems to be that during climb to cruise level I am facing some major problems. What happens is that during climb when I have enabled AP around 1000 feet, the aircraft begins shaking badly and starts giving me massive lagspikes as if there is turbulence (mind you, there is none, I don't use ActiveSky or any other third party weather system whatsoever, just the default LM P3DV4 settings, fair weather) It continues to the point that the aircraft literally becomes unp…

  22. Started by Timothee,

Hi I'm creating this topic for the A321, altough I had the same problem with the A320 but did not take a screenshot there. Current version is: 1.3.1.0 Especially during descent, the Airbus does not follow its own managed speed settings. Furthermore the speed drops below the green dot without any flaps extended. I've seen this behaviour multiple times now and took a screenshot on my last flight. Here my destination is UKLL, following the KOKUP1J arrival. As you see the speed limit on the next waypoint was set to 220 kts but the speed dropped way below. During the approach I used selected speed a few times (which worked as intended…

Hi, I am trying to learn about using Holds in the A320. I decided to fly to Manchester EGCC and hold at DAYNE. I can see from the chart the course and flight level but it seems to be missing a time/distance instruction. The FMCG seems to default to a 1 minute leg time. If the chart doesn't say anything is this the default assumed for all holds? Chart extract attached. Also what do the circles with D314 and D304 mean? Thanks Simon

  24. Chaps, Bug/Observation. Whenever I am flying a STAR, as soon as I intercept the LOC, the Bottom of descent/top of descent icon moves away from the green line.

  25. Chaps, An issue i am seeing increasingly on the latest version of the A32X family, is that during managed descent whilst following a STAR, your Airbus always ends up higher than the target altitude to intercept the Glide Slope. For example, the two most recent ones were, ROSU4D into 23R at EGCC, using UK2000 Manchester Xtreme & TELT1L into 26 at EGGW using UK2000 Luton HD. Both using NaviGraph Cycle 2005, and on both STARs the aircraft is always 300ft above the required altitude to intercept the GS. Leaving me to take the aircraft out of managed mode. In comparison, Ive flown ROSU4D in both the PMDG 747 & QW 787 to compare, and it flew them nea…
