Downloading and installing

Let me start by saying all installers (A31X, A32X and A33X) are fresh downloads from https://www.aerosoft.com/us/account/downloads and Anti-virus was Off during install. With the release of 1.3 for the baby busses which requires a full install, I decided to uninstall all busses (A31X, A32X and A33X) and do a clean install. Unistalling the A31X and A32X went normal, but when I tried to uninstall the A330 I got an error stating the uninstall log is missing. Checked the aerosoft folder at C:\Users\...\Documents\Aerosoft and there was an Uninstall_*.log file for all of my installs (aircraft and airports) except for the A330Prof. To use "Un…

Hi Happy New Year.. Can't you stop nuking the repaints. I understand I have to copy the repaint list in the aircraft.cfg.. which I often remember to copy during the UPDATER updates.. But completely reinstall. I have to copy the whole folder..... DUH...... You could have told me and others - please. Instead of I have to be ahead of you each time... Thank you... Hi, The A320 is now missing from the Aerosoft updater after I have installed the new update V1.3.0.0 Does any body know whether there is a separate updater with the new version? I have had a look an cannot find one anywhere. Also, off topic- I have registered for the Aerosoft Update forum on their website, however i cannot verify my account as I have not received a verification email, I have checked it is the correct address, and checked all spam and other folders to no avail. Could somebody please point me in the right direction to get this resolved and my account verified? Thanking everyone in advance. Michael

With the recent update of the airbus a320 family to 1.3.0.0 I am unable to update even after following the instructions. I turned my antivirus off , did a complete uninstall, did a download of the most recent bundle which I purchased from simmarket and both the a318-a321 are still showing red with the version 1.2.5.0. Any advice?

Is it possible to add PBR effect to the A320 family ?

Hi, I recently purchased the A330 Pro from Simmarket. Each time I try to download it I get the error "invalid compressed data to extract". I cannot open the file or install it after this. I am using Chrome and Chrome Download Manager. I also have my webroot anti-virus switched off. Just wondered if anyone had reported similar things or had any advice? Cheers,

after the latest update when I load the aircraft and the default view..(the first view of the upper left on the screen panel option) instead of the that panel I get the view as shown below. How do I correct this now? This is so damn frustrating!!

I was trying to get a solution to a problem, it was not given satisfactorily by support staff... in response to my original inquiry I was advised that I needed to reinstall 1.0.0.4 after inadvertently updating my A320/321 after updating A330. I knew that this was a possible solution and pre-empted this by my original enquiry, where I clearly asked that if I needed to reinstall 1.0.0.4 that I requested advice on how I could do this... check my original enquiry if you need further clarification. I received an update from Secure Simmarket (see date above) for a modification and update, but with the same version number. My Question now: Is it possible to simply overwrite the present installation or do I need to uninstall completly new? Kind regards Kurt

Hello, After updating the A330 to 1.0.0.2, P3D closes without error message when I click fly now. The event viewer log shows a KERNALBASE.DLL error and thats it. I've reinstalled the product, verified it works without the update, and reupdated and once again the issue persists. I've also tried the experimental 1.0.0.3 update file which causes the same issue for me. Thanks for the guidance! EDIT: Tried a clean reinstall again and now the aircraft will not even load 1.0.0.0. Bought on aerosoft page, still got 1.0.0.0 version to be downloaded while 1.0.0.4 experimental is available? I can say that's my first Aerosoft plane.

I have installed the A330 but it appears to be missing textures for such things as the Nav lights. Its just blank as if they are off. I never had the issue before on any other Aerosoft products but it seems after I have installed the A330, this issue has now spread to the a320 series as well. When it comes to the landings lights and becaon lights they will reflect of the body but that indidivual portion of the aircraft, such as the small hole where it should be lit up to show the landings light will not be on the a330.
