Repaints \ Liveries \ Livery Manager

The recurrent question when inutting new liveries...which model should I use? Here's a picture of the A319 BA The Firefly...please note the black aft...so which model should I use? Hi have updated the airbus and now it has seem to have gone back to the half missing texture problem again, have followed Stefans step by step guide to no avail is there a fix for this at all? many thanks

So yes I have found the paintkits... But there is no plain white livery or paintkit for the plane? Any help? Regards, -Alpha

I've just installed the new P3d v4 version of the Airbus Bundle. Everything looks great so far, and I'm aware of the limitations and what's being worked on. However, if you open Livery Manager (which is in the A320/A321 folder), it doesn't allow the A318 and A319's to be liveried, and there isn't a version of the app in the A318/A319 folder either, so I'm stuck... Any suggestions please?

Hello, I am making a personal livery and i have a problem when I load it up in the simulator. As shown in the picture, you can see pixels of a lighter shade of blue.This is throughout the whole plane. I think it has to something with the layer called "FUSEDIRT TAIL MAIN" in paintkit. for those people who can make or alter liveries to fit the new 64bit aircraft to UPLOAD them. Mathijis has provided for you to do this, so please help those of us who have struggled to manually alter liveries. I have got a couple to work, but Volotea defeated me, until I was able to download a version that had been kindly uploaded. So come on folks upload them until Aerosoft can get all the Livery Manager changes sorted.

I downloaded 2 liveries from aerosoft professional for United and American. In the livery manager I removed a handful of the default liveries and added the 2 new ones. In the livery manager it is listed correctly but upon loading p3d it has all of the default liveries that came installed with it. Not my new ones and all the ones I removed. How do I get livery manager to sync with p3d?

At Avsim there is an Aerosoft A319 repaint download with a 4096 texture resolution for FSX. Is this resolution possible, I thought all exterior Airbus repaints were 1024? Darryl

In Mathijs (locked) thread here... ...it mentions that you can delete the thumbnail.jpg that may come with some old liveries. Yes, you can do that -- it's not needed by the sim. HOWEVER, it is used by Aerosoft's Livery Manager. It appears that the Liv Manager program uses the thumbnail.jpg file for its preview window. If that is not correct, let me know...

Good morning. I have some liveries for the previous 32bit version of the Airbus. When importing into P3Dv4 the dark cockpit and heavily shadowed fuselage shows etc. This was solved by editing the texture.cfg) and removing various texture files. Instructions were found here for this process with the step of editing the cockpit texture to include the registration omitted. The livery manager was then used to package the file. Hello, I'm not able to find the livery program. In searching the posts, it's explained to look in the Installation folder....I've looked and I don't know where that is. Unfortunately, the thread was closed before I could ask... Can someone show me where their installation folder is located? That should help me find where my installation folder is located... I can add variants/ liveries to A319 IAE but not to CFM using the manual or Livery Manager methods. I am making revisions to the texture.cfg and aircraft.cfg files. I am using the bundle software in Win 7 64 bit. The variant/livery is in the Livery Manager and can be selected in P3D; I get this message: I chose ok an the sim reverts to the default aircraft flying over water. Suggestions please. I remember that you said that the old liveries from the previous series would be compatible. I have tried to install the AF A319 but i am getting some weird colors. Its a bit shadowed. Hello guys First, I want to thank you all for the great effort and the great product that you created. I want to mention a possible small bug in the livery manager. I installed a few older liveries of the A319 CFM. Later, when checking the aircraft.cfg of this plane, I noted that the model line still stays as "model = ", it doesn't add the "DAIBA" value as indicated in the tutorial for inserting liveries. Even after following the instructions provided I am getting this issue when I try to install a old livery into the A318/319 Professional? I may have a feeling that I didn't save that DXT3 file properly? Not to sure how to flip it then save it as DXT3 format ? Thanks

I have edited, the texture cfg and i have put the model in the aircraf cfg. However, from the middle part of the plane to the tail is being rendered black. So what it did wrong?
