As I have all my add-on aircraft installed on a second drive I use the add-on.cfg file to make them accessible in the sym. What I would like to do is to use the Profiles to make certain types of aircraft available - like aircraft only suitable for VFR flying in a VFR profile and so on. But even if have only VFR type aircraft activated in the add-on.cfg file, all other aircraft still show in the Starting aircraft list, which can be massive if many aircraft and liveries are installed (A filter option would be nice). And if I select an aircraft which isn't active (as it still shows in the list) and then run the profile, ALL the add-on.cfg …

Hi Peter, all, It seems there is a bug in the Sound control. In my Config profile I have set Voice to off in the Sound settings. But after loading the profile, it is always set to On within P3D. All other sound options work correctly. I found out, that I can only set Voice to off, if the Voice slider is not at the 0% position. If it is somewhere > 0% the checkbox state is read correctly. But if the slider is at 0% the state of the checkbox is always read as ON. Regards, Michael

Hey, On/off have to be switched cause if you set it to on, the value will be false

So I had to reinstall P3d 5.2 and in the process decided to uninstall/reinstall simstarterng P3d. I downloaded the latest version from my account Version: 2.1.3.23 and ran the installer but this is as far as I got. See image. Am I missing something?

How can these be deleted all at one time? I have a lot of these.

Running SimStarterNG v2.2.1 (rev 12) in P3Dv5.2HF1. I edited prepar3d.cfg to include an entry for the Affinity Mask. Unfortunately I used a space in the title [JOB SCHEDULER] so the AF setting was ignored. This was editing the file directly outside of SimStarterNG. Later I realised my mistake and used the AF Calculator in SimStarterNG to set an AF of 1365. I now have a correct [JOBSCHEDULER] AF entry in the prepar3d.cfg. But despite editing prepar3d.cfg to remove [JOB SCHEDULER] entry it returns each time I close SimStarterNG after a flight. Hey guys! What do i wrong? I save a flight with p3d v5 with viewgroups activated. If i start the saved flight with simstarter the saved installation "viewgroups" will not be activated. How can i correct this? I tried several installations. Best regards Peter

Hello, I uninstalled my previous SIMstarter iteration today, deleted the previous folder, insluding data, and downloaded the latest version from my aerosoft account. Now when I run SIMstarter NG P3D.exe (in Administrator mode) it prompts me to select platform without nothing to select in the window. Please help. Thanks.

Like it says in the title. AS is still pushing 2.1.3 out the door, while supposedly there are two updates in the pipeline or already released (it's not clear). I can't even start the program I just paid for, and there is no available route to just download a patch or an update. Anyone? I just purchased this less than an hour ago. Someone screwed up, and it's not me.

Hi, I selected the checklist via the checkbox, but I don't see it before the profile starts. Do I do something wrong or is there something else in Simstarter that I have to select so that the checklist pops up. Thanks, Nico

Hallo Cpt. Pero, nach Jahren problemloser Nutzung trifft mich nun die Meldung "Scheme file programsetting corrupt" aus heiterem Himmel. Die Meldung trat nach einem kleineren WIN10 Update auf, das sich beim Runterfahren des PC automatisch installierte. Nach dem Booten am nächsten Tag (12.6.2021) ließ sich der Simstarter nicht mehr starten. Zu dumm, dass es ausgerechnet zwei Tage vor dem PC-Wechsel (der alte war für FS2020 zu schwach) passierte. Da ich den FSX wegen der vielen Szenerien nach wie vor nutzen möchte, will ich auf den Simstarter auch künftig nicht verzichten. hello i purchased simstarter back in May 2018 from the aerosoft shop , i have just tried to re install due to addon/scenery issues in p3d v5.2 . ive managed to get it to update to v1.9.6(rev.2) following a thread on here about adding a line in the data/ini file . is my copy too old to be updated ?

Hello, World > Weather > is changing the wrong CFG entry. It is chaning the Godrays=(0|1) entry but should change the AmortizeClouds=(0|1) entry. Cheers Bernd

World > Weather > writes following in the cfg: DisableTurbulence=1 So, probably i missunderstand this setting but means if you activate it, that it disables turbulences because it looks like that it does it with the entry "DisableTurbulence=1" If yes, than the desc. of the setting should be changed. Hey, thanks for the update, finally I can modify my 5.2 :D I found a "bug" if you want to call it a bug. CloudQuality=3 is shown in Simstarter as Ultra but it is High. CloudQuality=4 is Ultra but this is not selectable in Simstarter :) Cheers Bernd

I did a p3dv5 client repair and after that I had not choice between both platforms. Only p3dV5 shows up on the popup screen while the remember platform selection is unticked and in the System menu ; hide is also unticked. Please assist in this matter.. Kind regards, Fred
