Good afternoon everybody, I have got a Problem with my CRJ 900ER. I searched through the forum and found a thread which said it is "fixed by code". For me the issue still occurs. Description: I noticed that the APU-Sound is played in outsideview after I set the plane to Cold and Dark via the tablet in the cockpit. After setting C&D the script switches everything off like it should, except for the APU Sound in the outside view. I reinstalled the CRJ completely yesterday. Downloaded the newest installer, which is at version 1.0.5.0. Have a nice evening, Christian

I've read through the posts I could find regarding the paintkit for the CRJ 700/900, however, they are .DDS files and not .PSD. Are the .DDS files the only ones available to paint with? I was hoping for .PSD format with layers like most paintkits if it's available.

The ground power on this CRJ is just too darn loud!!! Anyone have suggestions on lowering its volume without affecting the overall volume for all of the other sounds?

I just upgraded to p3d 4.2 and the crj v1060. Everything is good except for the reverser. I cannot disarm them.

Hello, I'm a new user of the CRJ, and have a question regarding sound configuration. I am using latest build of P3D v4 on a Win 10 machine. I have environment / aircraft sounds routed to my main speakers, and voice routed to my gaming headset. Does the CRJ override the default sound settings in P3D? I could not find any sound output settings in the configuration tool (other than the level sliders). It seems that ALL of the sounds come through my gaming headset - which is not even my default playback device in Windows. Yet I also hear sounds from the main speakers. Not sure what is going on. Hi there, could someone point me towards a manual or a tutorial where the HUD/HGS of the CRJ is covered? Can't seem to find it in the docs, and a forum search just came up with bug reports. A "how to use the HUD" would be very helpful Thanks!

Hello Folks: After installing 1.0.6.0., when loading the CRJ, I get 6 error messages stating that various hydraulic sounds are not located in the CRJ sound sub-folder under ecosystem. The CRJ will not initialize and immediately crashes P3D. These sounds are definitely not in that folder. I uninstalled then reinstalled the CRJ and everything worked OK. I then added the update and the same error occured. How do I fix this? - Roger

I get a performance hit no matter what addon plane I use. I was wondering if their is an option to get taxi/landing lights to show up with dynamic lighting off? The new update is great but just need to see where I'm going at night.

Hi, Just a couple minor issues. In 2/5 of my flights so far, the R REV ARMED annunciation stays on even though I already turned the switch off. Also the APU PWR Fuel switch sometimes takes a few click animations before it engages. I am using the 1.0.6 hotfix on p3dv4.2 Thanks! EDIT: Apologies! already posted in a similar thread. Is it ok to just close and delete?

I have been noticing this since the first release and it seems minor, but the CRJ load manager shows 9 seats in "first" class but load manager calculates 10 first class passengers on a full load (for the -700 model). 900 model has 11 seats, calculates 12 on a full load Just wondering.

Hi, I have just updated to the latest version of the CRJ and set the default state to C&D in the FMC. Now every time I load up P3D and the CRJ, the cockpit is in a C&D state and silent but when I go to the exterior view I can hear the APU constantly running. Any help will be much appreciated, Thanks, Steve Cameron

Hello all! I was curious if anyone else is having an animation issue with the tiller in the VC for the 700/900? It is stuck full left and the animation will not move. Rudder pedals and steering are still working, just not the animation. I have reinstalled the latest version of the aircraft and done a fresh install of the game as well. Is there a possible fix for this?? Thank you!

Similar problem opening this document in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as with previous versions. Adobe reports an error and the document opens with blank pages. I do have the working one linked in the previous thread but it ought to be corrected in the installer in due course. Andy L

Hi thanks for your replies. I have seen the Hans'video and the comments about the TSS bump wav 1to 10. Effectively i try others airports to be sure and i have the same noise when taxiing and just after landing. Is it possible to reduce theses sounds only ? Michel

Hi, is somebody concerned by a strange noise in the cockpit , perhaps a friction sound when taxiing or take off or landing the CRJ ?. This sound don't appear all the time. thanks for yours replies. Michel.

Hello, according to some devs and 'experts' at avsim, performance (fps) using dynamic light in p3dv4 is dependent on the size and reach of the light cone. larger the light cone, more stuff has to get processed by the gfx card, lowering performance. is it possible to re-calibrate the taxi, landing, wing light cone size for the next sp? i'm seeing a lot of stuff get illuminated when the lights are on, more so than what i see in other models. thanks.

Hello. As I usualy do, I turn on air sonditioning , both packas and fan while in flight, but it is so loud that it is driving me crazy and I cant talk with my guys from VA. Is there any way to lower that volume down? Thank you

Just a suggestion, would it be possible to create an option that allows you to add or remove the HUD from the virtual cockpit? Since some airlines do not have this option, it might be of benefit to allow users to choose whether it is installed in the aircraft or not. Also, it may be a means of improving performance?

Hey guys, I'm having this issue when I "move my head" in the cockpit..

As title mentions it, I've tested my controls during taxi and deployed reversers as normal, but after stowing controls and take off, I've noticed my reversers are still deployed from outside. I've reinstalled the CRJ earlier today with latest installer.

Is there a way that the cockpit lighting in the exterior model can be adjusted or modified in a future update? It seems like the dome light is constantly on which is surely not a realistic look when flying at night.
