F-14 Tomcat

Can anybody confirm if they can get LUA 87 (emergency stores jettison) to work, the selective jettison rework is great, EJ works in the cockpit but I cannot map to my cockpit setup button.

I will Buy F-14 Extended for P3D Pro. when I read the manual, it says F-14 Extended Weapon system working with VRS TACKPACK. I think Weapon System will not working with default P3D Pro. Right? How I can using weapon system with out VRS TACPACK?

At first I thought it was something to do with the Kitty Hawk.. But I think it's actually the F-14... All other aircraft will get on the cat and the JBD will rise.. Except the AS F-14. This also translates to both the Nimitz and the Kitty Hawk carriers. In the aircraft config file there are setting for "launch assist".. So I'm kinda confused why it's not getting on the cat....

Sorry If it has been mentioned cannot find it. However I cannot load the Tomcat I have the latest version the original version did function. I downloaded and installed with virus program switched off. I have stings set as in the documentation. I have stied all things to load it direct from start window or start with default cessna or load a flight but I always get this message. I have tried to look if firewall or virus programs are blocking it as was once the case eg Airbus fuel planner but I cannot find anything.

Hi, I have the same problem as described in the previous topic "F-14 Tomcat not showing" by Fred Pickering. I added two posts with my problem there, but got no reply so far. I have also opened a support ticket, but got no reply either. I'm using FSX SP2 and have just bought the F-14 last sunday. The installation was ok, but whenever I load the airplane, I get the error message "Modell konnte nicht angezeigt werden". Looking at the aircraft.cfg, it seems that the installer installed a P3D version instead of FSX, although I have selected the correct version during installation. Hi, Can someone post a video of them using the LANTIRN please? I must be doing something wrong because using my F-14 is judders and shuffles away from the target point, screwing up things like TTR etc. Thanks, Peter

G'day, I'm running F-14X 2.02 and P3D v3.3 with FSUIPC. I can't seem to get the speed brakes to open incrementally and I'm pretty sure I had this function in a previous install of P3D v2. When I push my 'Spoilers On' throttle switch or use a keypress the speed brakes open fully unless I tap the 'Spoilers Off' key to stop them. I've got the buttons set in FSUIPC as per the manuals, with 'Spoilers On' as the 'control sent when button pressed' and 'control to repeat while held' checked. It's usually a safe bet that I've set something up incorrectly but I can't think what might be causing the problem. Ch…

I have problem with AI aircraft in scenarios. Su-27 is bright, it looks like without textures and Tu-95 has landing gear down. Anybody else has same problem? Both AI airplanes are ok in FSX. I noticed that just in P3D V3.2

I have been trying to locate the paint kit to make a repaint for my own personal use. I can not seem to find it. A member told me to contact the website I purchased the aircraft from and they referred me back to Aerosoft. Aerosoft said there was not one but I see people adding reprints all the time. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hey guys I have tried to follow the setup for lantirn ops. Been able to move the lantirn in all direction but I cannot find the target designator fonction in the garmin control menu. : (

I;m having trouble lining up the nose wheel with the catapult and activating the launch sequence. Is there a procedure for taxi to catapult, launch setup, tutorial tutorial or video. Any help appreciated. Ron

It's a pair of months that I'm fighting against Nv drivers, currently I can choose between low FPS or black squares (slow texture loading), those problem are more noticeable at "heavy load" (REX+F14+high density area+TP), so I want to ask if someone can create a middle or low resolution pack (common textures+1 existing variation) for doing some tests on those heavy scenarios. Hello, I have problem with F-14x installed on new P3D 3.3.5.17625. When I load the flight all weapons are presented on the aircraft with no chance to remove them and wingsweep doesn't work. Is this incompatibility with this new version of P3D?

I know how to turn the "A" model's mirrors off, but how do I do it on the "B" model? in the aircraft.cfg file the "model=" part is empty. Thanks!

I have years of experience with FSX, 2 months with TacPack and 2 weeks with the F-14. I promise I have read the manuals repeatedly. When I go a on a bombing mission I select the bombs in pre flight, put a target into the flight plan (in the case of the attached screen shots KEDW) and fly the plan. I follow the instructions in the tutorial and set all the switches. I begin the run in with the target diamond on the bomb fall line. I get closer, HUD showing 10.1 nm, 1:05 time. At this point I expect TacPack to put a bomb release circle on the HUD at the end of the fall line but none appears. I don't see any HUD visual cue, the diamond drops below the HUD and I have no id…

hello, i installed last tomcat vesion, but my hotas cougar throttle is not working....i mean like the aircraft does not see it but all other controls work fine, joy included......i move throttle but no engine response. please help !!!! many thanks, david

I have a problem with the elevator and aileron axes of the F-14 Extended. When I deflect the joystick, the stick in the cockpit moves, and the external elevators move correctly, but they then snap-back to the centered position within a fraction of a second even though the joystick is still deflected. This is unique to the F-14 - all my other aircraft work correctly with the same software settings. I'm running P3D v3.2, the latest FSUIPC, and the 2.01 version of the F-14. In the past this behavior could happen if there were conflicting assignments between the flight sim control axis settings and the FSUIPC settings, but that is not the case here. …

Hi, i got Problems with the Automatic Landing System. Its all connected and (you see it on the Picture) and its works until 3 Seconds before Touchdown. After that the Planes glides 30 Feet over the Landing Deck and the wheels dont touch Ground. I think i forgot something but i worked the manual out und do all of the things 20 or 25 times. Someone an Idea?
