MCDU (Left side)

This problem appears to be fairly common. I start in one of the Airbus (A318, A319, A320, A321) and it works until I go out of the game or go to another airport. Then the left MCDU shows me only the Engin side and there is only "Unkwon Engin". I use FSX steam edition and I have Windows 10. I installed everything on an SSD. I tried some things that other users did successfully: -I have followed any instructions for installation. -I have reinstalled and uninstalled everything (FSX, the Airbus) a few times. (Also any files that were left in the folders) -I uninstalled all mods and scenerys. -I have always carried out the installations as an administrator and have also run FS…

When I exit a flight after completing it and select the Airbus again at any other airport, the left MCDU keys get frozen and none of them work. Every time I have to close the FSX:S.E. and restart it. Hi, is there a way to download company routes online and load them into the game files? For example a standard route from Manchester to Heathrow or something like that, in the aerosoft a320 format, just ready to download, save into the mcdu folder and ready to go. thanks

Hi, how I could modify my F-plan to follow in managed a circling approach? I.e. LIMJ, I get Rwy 10 by ATC that doesn't have approaches loaded in my database. What I normally do is a manual circling approach by arriving on Rwy 28. But by MCDU programming?

Ok, my previous thread was closed before I could to provide more feedback. Anyway, I went to the tutorial as advised (Volume 6) and followed until page 45, however the same thing happened (screenshot attached): as per flight plan, four minutes before the runway I am still at FL201!? Thinking that I may have entered the flight plan wrong, I then loaded CO Route LOWILFMN01 only to find the issue still there. As per table on page 45, T/D should be much earlier? I am trying to set up the MCDU for my first Aerosoft Airbus A320 flight on P3D 2.5, I enter the basic flight plan, departure plus arrival, but the airplane doesn't calculate a reasonable descent profile: a few NM before the runway still at FL200+? I've tried a different plan, arrival, reloading - even manually inserting altitude on near waypoints, still same issue. What could I be missing?

Hi all, I got a License for the A320/A321 for FSX. Due to my situation I cannot afford a pc powerfull enough to run xplane 11 or prepar3D. However this version of the A320 is what I am looking for, except for one thing. The MCDU software is a bit old. Would it be possible to upgrade just the MCDU software to show the pages in a more updated layout, and include more functionalities? Thanks.

Hi I am new to the flight sim, and have recently bought the Aerosoft Airbus 318/319, When i try to enter the flight details in the MCU i start to enter the Weypoint, but get to a stage where i need to enter another one, but cant enter it on the left hand side, how do i enter the next weypoint when the space down the right side has ran out? Good morning gents, Last night I experienced a CTD using DIR TO on a star in to EGHH after controller gave me a DIR TO - MIVLA Now I understand this was a problem a few years ago. I have the latest download for the airbus series A318/A319 and A320/21 from just flight. I have looked through previous forum posts and have seen there is a hot fix but unfortunately the links I have clicked on don't work. Please can I have an updated/current link to the hot fix. I am using fsx-se and windows 10 and have all of the c++ files for 32 and 64 bit installed. Many thanks

Okay, so the other threads on this topic didn't really resolve the issue I am having or they didn't go directly to the problem I am having. I purchased the A320/A321 Professional. I am using P3D V4.5 I am currently learning the Aircraft using the JetBlue A320 tail N828JB. What I am trying to do is get a simbrief flight plan to load into the MCDU using the company route feature since I cannot seem to get it to load automatically when I load the aircraft. Quirks of Simbrief are that their file names are pretty damn long, so I have edited the generated filename from KSMFKPHX_FSX_19May20.pln to KSMFKPHX.pln …

Hi guys, win 7 Aerosoft A321 400+ successful flights I have a more recurring bug where left mcdu stops correctly displaying inputs but simply responds clr. keyb input is working fine on and off, input from keyboard = clr, input from screen and mouse =clr. Just clr. I have a feeling that it's related to keyb use but who knows? It has a brother, at the same time mouse/spacebar pan no longer works. It's not a biggie but after you've update NDP, created FP in FPFX, are ready to start engines, it's a mighty poa. Any suggestions please? Regards Mike

Recently got the A320 and it was working fine for about a month. But now when I go to load my company route created by simbreif fsx crashes or none of the way points are in the legs page. i have tried to change the Full route in the fmgs.ini file (file is attached below)20205282848_FMGS.ini to 0 but it didn't change anything. here is my flight plan CYYZCYUL01.flp Any help is appreciated.

Sorry to re-open a former topic, but I too am having problems with flightplans for A320 for FSX. Airbus flight planning has worked perfectly well from the beginning for me. I have had a break from Airbus and flown other aircraft. Now, on return to airbus, I cannot load flightplans - I get the 'None' or 'Not in database' messages. My files are in the correct place, I have attached a screenshot to show this. Not sure what to do next. Robert

Just cannot get this application to work! So far have reinstalled (with no Antivirus) twice as an admin, updated runtimes, changed file access to read/write, updated Simconnect, changed .jpg files, tried older versions of software, shutdown firewall and every other trick and suggestion I can find....and i'm still getting the MCDU on the 2nd PC/Ipad cold/dark with no data showing! I'm getting absolutely know where using the Xconnectextended facility. Cannot even get other computers on my LAN to show the MCDU. i'm trying to understand how the connectivity works so I can troubleshoot. The IP range on my network is 192.168.1.* but I keep seeing different ranges and subnets being displayed from the application. At the moment its saying to connect to 192.168.62.33:4040 and yesterday it gave a 192.168.33.* address. My question is what determines the address that is being supplied by the Program?

Hello, I have a problem with my A320 (latest updated version). When I start my descent the "Descent Prep CL" does not start and I cannot activate it as I did before by pressing "1" The green message appears at the top of the screen and tells me "Descent Prep CL: Starts in x Miles or MCDU3: Start Checklist" I no longer know how to launch this Checklist, help me please

Hi there When I go to the Web server the MCDU comes up blank on my ipad and also on latop. I've checked that the MCDU webserver is ticked in the configurator and I've updated the xconncect file that was posted sometime ago on this forum. Thanks for any help.

I know this topic has been covered to death but not sure if I have a slightly unique issue. Everything works fine with the left MCDU when using the A320, but if I switch to the A321 none of the buttons are active. If I then try to switch back to the A320 it still doesn't work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program (As admin with Anti Virus disabled), tried updating the runtime routines (from 2013 upwards as previous are no longer available)but now not sure where to go next? I'm using FSX and Aerosoft version is A320-A321 V1.31 Steam edition. Any advice appreciated.

Since I upgraded to the Airbus Professional with P3DV4.5 and Win 10 I have been unable to get a display of the Top of Climb and Top of Descent arrows on the ND or the distance to T/D on the Perf page of the MCDU. Is there some condition that must be met for these to be calculated? I use a full fllight plan including CRZ altitude, STAR and approach details. Thanks for any tips on this.

Hello everyone, So I'm kinda new to the Airbus. So basically, i've been generating a flight plan from http://onlineflightplanner.org/ I the just enter the route manually and on my way. However, I've seen that there is no need and you can actually upload a FP file straight to the box. I've looked around and cant find anything. I have FSX:SE and I got the Airbus off the steam store. Is there anyway to do this? I would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks!!
