Hi, I don't know whether Aerosoft will offer a TP version, however, consider that TP includes the red Top Missile that is perfectly fitting the lightning (the authentic weapon). Count my in as a future buyer if you release a TP version. Greetings EDDM

Hi, I hadn't flown the Lightning for a while, but the F mk6 previews reminded me how good this aircraft is so I thought I'd wheel her out again. While looking around I notice the underside of the starboard aileron seems to have a mapping issue, see pic. Looking at the model in MCX it seems to be using the texture map for the top of the wing, rather than the bottom. This is only on the F3 model, the Mk1a is OK. Looking forward to the Fmk6 & TacPack integration.

Hello, Love the new Lightning! Beautiful exterior, excellent VC, and excellent flight dynamics. The issue is with the flap lever, it won't move into the down position. Whether I use the VC/mouse, keyboard, or programmed via the joystick - it won't stay down. It starts to move, then it pops back-up, rubber band like. Am I doing something wrong? Hello guyssss So i normally fly at daytime but yesterday i was playing on a night time server and i could not turn on the outside lights... i tried to press "L" but that didnt work i also tried to turn on all the light buttons on the upperhead pannel but that also did not work... but the logo light works.. So maybe someone has a fix for this bicause taxing in the middle of the night with out no light is kinda hard.. I just bought the aerosoft a318/a319 and i love it. But there's this super big bug that happends when i turn on the lights in the cabin (not the dome lights). Sometimes it works and sometimes not. when it does not work half the cockpit dissapears!! it's really hard to do night flying when you don't have any lights, please heeelp :help_s: :help_s:

Hi all, very much enjoying your EE Lightning addon. It's great fun and very realistic from what I can tell. I was wondering what the status of the project is - will there be any new SPs for her, as I cannot see the brake chute deploy, and also I note the developer said in these forums that the FCS glide function doesn't seem to be working? Additionally as a VATSIM user I am not seeing other aircraft on the radar Is it just the F6 planned/in development for a subsequent release, or are you going to make my day and do a T5 too? Good to inform You than I'm near finish of new LTF skin for Lightning F.3 (RAF, XR720). It will be "dirty version" (more weathering) of camo skin (I did new background for whole skin & camo). Regards. I hope in this weekend will be finished. Stil in WiP process.

Hi chaps, I have just uploaded a video of two lightning intercepting a bear over the uk. I'd appreciate any comments or advice. There is a ten second black screen at the beginning because I wanted to add some text but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Some formation stuff at the end over east mids. Any ideas for more films guys?

Hi guys Been having great fun flying this aircraft. Three of us got on a private server the other day and tried some formation flying. Two lightnings and a Vulcan. We've found it really tricky keeping a constant speed. I have my throttle mapped through fsuipc. We tried maintaining 350 which was the best speed the Vulcan could make, found ourselves on and off the speed brake but was virtually impossible to get a tight formation. Any advice would be great fully received Pete

Hello My Problem ist, the engine is not starting. When I stick to the Procedures in the shift+3-Manual, the RPM hangs at 12% N1 and doesn't go further. The JPT Gauges show 250°C. When I close the Fuel Cocks, the Gauges stay in this Position. The only method to get the Engines started, is CTRL+E. I already red the Topic with Engine Start and Fuel Management, but the Tips in there didn't help me. I have Verison 1.01 on FSX. If anybody can help me with tha issue, I would be very thankful. Great plane love hand flying it, however using the a/p will not capture the ILS beam, when track is selected it always turns to north regardless where the runway heading is set this also happens with VOR's as well. I tune the correct frequencies and the instruments function perfectly. The a/p functions correctly in heading and altittude mode. also would be gratefull for more info on the autothrottle. When clutch selected in the speed range suggested the throttles close and if not de-selected and power returned the a/c would stall. Also programming a button on my joystick for the autothrottle does not have any effect. Would be gratefull for your input.

Hi, Not sure if this possible but I have the Thrustmaster Warthog and would like to know if it's possible to assign the engine start sequence (Engine 1 & 2) button press which we do in the VC to the throttle unit? Regards Timm

Hi all! This is my first post for I have recently bought my brand new Lightning F.3. I am seriously in love with this beauty of a rendering of a plane that's a presonal beloved one that brings back memories from my childhood... Well, just 2 but very important bugs: a.- Even though I had a successful installation, I can´t get Shift-2 and Shift-3 to work for pilot notes and emerg. procedures. First times it looked as if an emerging window was to appear, but centesimes of a second later it dissapeared. No matter how many times I re-attempted, re-started the entire FSX and addons and try again, just can't get tha vital piece of information. Curiously, Shift-F2 works proper…

Hello! Newbie here on the forums...First off, I must say that the lightning has instantly become one of my most flown military jets! Just pure british "charm" and the model is superb, especialy all the rivets that are so subtle but present (just as it should be)..The only thing I am missing (but that does not distract me for flying it frequently) are VC shadows..I have tried with Steve´s DX10 fixer and then read on other site that it can not have VC shadows..I think that would really make the beast more imerse..so as a suggestion could there be a posibility to do an update or a patch for that? Or at least it could be implemented in the upcoming f6? Best regards! Niko…

Hi, After some trying i and reading in the manuals, was able to start the engines from a cold and dark state. I am only able to start up the engines if i begin with the Cesna, setting off all the electronics, fuel pumps enz, than switching to the lightning. If i used the "shift+2" option and setting all the switched to the parking configuration, putting all the buttons in the starting position following the checklist (shift+3) the engines don't seem to start up. Is this an issue or am i doing something wrong?? anyone else the same problem?? If the engines have started up after take-off, the number 2 engine seem to use the fuel in the ventral tank, the number 1 use…

Hi, I read in Tim Mclelland's book about the Lightning and its development that the F.3 had provisions for carrying over-wing tanks more commonly seen in the F.6. Is this implemented into the Aerosoft F.3? Brad

Hello, when I eject (in P3D v2) and select afterwards NOT to end P3D, then I get the follwing message: And I wonder if it is necessary to end P3D when ejecting? Isn't it possible to get then to a new "create scenerio"?
