It basically allows the user to tweak the sky to match the conditions. There is after all a big difference between the sky on a hot humid August day and a clear frosty January day.

Sky Tools was developed by AWG Simulations as a commercial product but we decided to buy the full rights from them and to send it out as a free gift to the X-Plane users. We have done the same for FSX products and it was time to do the same for X-Plane. After all, X-Plane is one finest products and we support that simulator with many add-ons.

This is rubbish. Laminar has been ask if tweaked cloud shaders could be included in a payware product in October 2013, the reply from Austin Meyers was short (almost all of his emails are, lol). It read "oh yes that is fine".

So if anybody claims something else please tell him to stop telling nonsense. It's very tiresome that so many people seem to seek the controversy lately.

first, thx for this great cloud addon, which is better as SkyMaxxPro IMHO.

The only drawback of your addon is the still existing "Grey of Death" Fadeout. is there any chance, that you will remove this too?

not sure if what I am asking sounds reasonable but would it possible that the future releases of Sky Tools would use real-time weather and would generate clouds and choose the theme automatically (i.e. Active Sky for FSX)?
