Hi all, I've been having this issue quite often lately. When computing a flight it tells me, that the required fuel would exceed the maximum fuel on board which is in turn limited by the MTOW. So far so good. But I don't understand why. Here's an example: I wanna fly in an A320 from EDDF to LFPG. My cruising altitude I set was FL300. Now I get the message that the required fuel exceeds the maximum fuel limited by MTOW. When I replan the flight and simply select optimum cruising altitude and everything else stays exactly the same I get FL240. And I can compute the flightplan, everything is fine. Hi, I have noticed that i have a great difference between simbrief and PFPX. Distance betwenn Simbrief and PFPX is 200NM longer. AIRAC is updated by NAVIGRAPH. see attached Picture. Whats the reason for this big different? Simbrief PFPX

Local arrival and departure times not calculating correctly. The local time displayed in the planning panels is always an hour more than it should be for both departure and arrival. For example, I started planning a trip from Jinnah to Perth - just 2 airports at random. The departure time populates automatically with a time approximately half an hour into the future, it's 13:21 UTC now so STD becomes 13:50. Jinnah is UTC + 8 so the local time displayed on the map when I hover the mouse over the airport symbol is correct, 13:21 + 5 = 18:21, so I would expect the local STD in the planning window to show 18:50 local not 19:50. Hello all, few months ago, I started a thread regarding Chinese and Mongolian RVSM. However, today, I am coming back with a new find. My recent flight from Hong Kong to Cologne, my initial flight level was assigned as FL302 and setp to FL322. However, as per Chinese RVSM** assigned FL should be FL301 and FL321. I know that a difference of 100' is not much, but is there any way to apply this rule to correctly reflect accurate FLs? The fact is that Meters wise, PFPX is correct (FL301/302 = 9200M, FL321/322 = 9800M). Hi guys I recently noticed that when I am planning airbus (never happend with 737, 777 or 747) flights the find adequate airport button does not always appear before I can compute my flight. After entering the route and payload the button changes directly to compute flight. Even if I enter some adequate airports myself, they are not used in the flight planning. I noticed that in the route chart the green boxes with the airport ICAO are missing as well, so i assume not adequate planning was done at all. Any ideas? Dani

Hi, After stumbling on the following video: I noticed that the water color of this user is a lot more darker/blueish than mine (see attached). So my question: Is it possible to change PFPX water color? If so how? If not, might it be that this user's monitor settings are just as such that it looks blueish/darker? Thanks Ashwant

An explanation is needed for the VP VOR's depicted on the PFPX normal maps and editing maps. Below is a picture of those VOR's all over the maps. They do not sow the associated frequency and are therefore useless. They could be useful for VOR/VORTAC navigation. Maybe someone can explain those.

I get some curious OFP (ATC) results on the above. The approved is at even FL's, not odd for flights in that north east direction. It is as best I know it a 1 way in that direction, but behaves in the opposite (?) "VMR M771 DULOP" is the route used to VHHH. If I use "VMR DCT DULOP" odd levels are filed. Is this an airac problem or ....... it is unique amongst many others (could it be because the WSSS track to VMR is west of north.. Comments welcomed.

Hello, I just bought PFPX today from the great reviews I read about it, however on my first run today I noticed that the world map from the route database is completely different from what I have seen. Is there any chance I can fix this ? Also, regarding the routing and IFPS validation, from what I understand EUROCONTROL Killed the feature that made PFPX able to validate the route according to the current AIRAC so we paste the ATC flightplan to EUROCONTROL portal in free text. So today, PFPX issued me two warnings of restrictions offense along a particular route EGGW-EGPE However, when manually validating the flight plan on NOP Network Operations Portal (eurocontrol.int), it doesn't come up with any errors or warnings. Are PFPX route restrictions [Eurocontrol] outdated or there is something else at play here?

When I hit "release" flight I get the 'error chime' with no warning message or anything. This happens irrespective of which tail number/plane, aircraft type, OFP type, or city pair/route is being used. A little weird as I just made a flight plan two days ago and haven't changed anything since.

First image taken from the Browser shows at least two or more SIGMETs (Isolated Embedded Cumulonimbus) over the UK and France Now, second image shows the Flight Map where we see two SIGMETs that by a stretch could be considered a few of the above ones but for sure the dimensions nor the locations match. Does this mean there is an issue reporting the SIGMETs above Europe or am I doing something wrong

Hello After validation of a Flight Plan an error was notified (by using Quality Wings 787/recently installed). The error however does not come out by using any other (PMDG) airplanes. Does anybody know how ro solve this problem? Thank you for your help! Peter LSZH
