I receive error messages from PFPX stating that the fuel required exceeds tank capacity. I get this with different aircraft, mostly with Qualitywings 787, PMDG B-747 and 777. I do not get this error every time but often enough to become a real problem. The fuel capacity in the PFPX aircraft data page shows ample fuel capacity, I have also modified the config file likewise. I still receive the error . This problem has been addressed before in Aerosoft forum but it is no longer available to review. PFPX company support is never available Thank you

When entering oceanic space, I see the following checks from the PFPX default OFP: [ ] LR NAV ACCUR CHECK [ ] RSVM ALTIMETER CHECK [ ] COMPASSS HDG CHECK [ ] HF CHECK I understand the middle two, but what are pilots supposed to check with the first (LR NAV) and the last (HF)? I can guess that LR NAV means to check the accuracy of the long-range navigation equipment, and HF means high-frequency radio, but what would that mean in practice? I imagine this will be dependent on the aircraft being flown. Would this typically mean cross-checking the GPS and the IRS, if the aircraft has that equipment? Is there any maximum error toleranc…

why are the restraints not respected for this SID? Spoiler --- for this reason, it calculates the wrong cruise ALT for me,since as soon as we take a cruise, at the same time we should already be declining... I am also using the newest AIRAC 2109 database and PFPX RAD Restrictions and Directs 2109.

Hello. Why on flight plan there is not OAT just ISA? I found on forum that MORA file should be at folder PFPX Data but there is at this location.

I'm sure this is an easy fix, but I can't find it. As you can see, PFPX wants the aircraft to climb to just below 20,000 feet for a microsecond (actually it's 4 minutes), then descend back down to 16,000 feet for another microsecond, and then climb up to FL310. On the OFP, the initial cruise altitude (the value of <&InitCruiseAlt>) is 17,999 feet. Clearly odd. To fix this, first I put in a Min Alt/FL of FL250 and hit Compute again, but I get the same result: 4 minutes of level cruise at 17,999 feet followed by a descent. So then I next looked for a way to edit only the altitudes in the advanced route editor and I'm not seeing it. …

Hello. I don't why but for some time, I have non stop PFPX CTD. Maybe it worked 15-20 minutes. I reinstaled and now CTD after 15-20 second when I start. Before worked perfectly. I don't remember what I installed before CTD. I use v.2.04.

The Flight Plan Template Guide allows for <&EROPSFuel> with data type "weight," but there is no corresponding <&EROPSTime> with data type "time." Thus there's a missing line in the endurance column of the fuel summary chart. If I read the Fuel Policy section correctly, <&EROPSFuel> corresponds to EDTO Reserve Fuel and it would make sense to me that this would be expressed as endurance, along with the other fuel types. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks.

The data field <&TimeEllapsed> seems to reset after the destination. The problem is that I have a "Diversion" NavLog (for the route from the destination to the alternate) that is working correctly in other respects, except that the <&TimeEllapsed> is no longer a cumulative counter recording the time elapsed from takeoff. Instead, on the diversion NavLog, <&TimeEllapsed> shows only the time from one leg to the next. By way of example, the final four legs of the main route (origin to destination) count up cumulatively, like this: 12:30, 12:45, 13:05, 13:27. But after diverting, <&TimeEllapsed> only shows value…

Hi, I posted on this before but now I have more information. The issue is that PFPX calls TOPCAT for the takeoff and landing data, and then brings the altimeter setting back in hectopascals, which gets passed to the OFP, even when the airport is located in a region in which inches of mercury would be preferred. Attached is a screenshot of PFPX calling TOPCAT for takeoff information from Chicago O'Hare. You can see that PFPX/TOPCAT is fetching the altimeter setting in inches of mercury, and interpreting the METAR correctly - you'll see that under "Pressure," the correct numbers 30.06 are displayed. However, when you look at the results window (this…

Hello, maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I was recently flight-planning a route and the closest fit to the great circle distance ended up requiring EDTO rules, because the threshold time was exceeded. However, it would have been possible to fly a non-EDTO route that stayed entirely within the threshold time, but this would have been less direct, and would have required more fuel. Is it possible to tell PFPX to pick a route that stays within the threshold time the whole way, or would such a route need to be built manually? Thanks.

Was mache ich falsch? Vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe! Bert

Hi all: The PFPX locks on startup, and does not allow access to any menu. I have the latest version (2.04), and it seems that the weather has something to do with it. It only lets me use it when it shows up with no associated weather, but normally I can't use it. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I used PXPF to prepare a flight from Colombo (VCBI) to Bali (WADD). On the route editor, some SID of VCBI are not displyed on the map, and we don't see their last point: _ For the Rwy 04: RUPOK 2D _ For the Rwy 22: ANUTI 1D The nav databas of PFPX is up to date (2108). Can you have a look on this issue. Thanks, Vincent MORIN

Hello, i am using Prosim737 and see on every Flightplan a difference between the Fuel consumption in the Flightplan and what the Aircraft in Sim uses. Thats ONLY during climb !! I mean to remember, there was anywhere a Fuel Bias for the Climb Phase only, because the cruise Fuel consumption is correct. Where can i eneter this Climb Bias, i can not find it anymore. Matthias

When you look at the flightplan below, I have tried but failed to understand why 24,500 lbs of fuel is being added to the flight plan. When you look at the EDTO block, the most critical fuel scenario is a 2-engine decompression at the last ETP. (ETP-2). It mentions that required fuel at this point is 74,000 lbs. Planned fuel on board at that point is no less than 119,200 lbs. or 45,000 lbs. over required. So even if I take away the 24,500 lbs. additional fuel, I am still 20,000 lbs. over required more or less. I tried a different standard PFPX (ICAO) fuel policy to check if there may be a fuel policy error, but the result was nearly identical. Does anyone have a cl…
