Hi all, I was hoping for some clarification regarding the Threshold Time & Threshold Distance in the Aircraft Editor. I'm setting up the EDTO data for a B777-300ER in the Aircraft Editor. As per our company operation manual, ETOPS data for the B777-300ER in our fleet are: 60 mins/423nm; 120 mins/836nm; 180 mins/1249nm and 207 mins/1435nm. At work, company flight plans always uses 180 mins. I need to have a more clearer understanding of what the Threshold Time and Threshold Distance is and how those figures are obtained. In the the Aircraft Editor (1st screenshot), it has the figures as 60 min / 485nm. Are those figures correct for a B777-300ER?…

Just a heads up the last update for wind data was 0600z on 17 December 2021 that is set to expire is about 5.5 hours. Is there a server issue preventing an auto update? Thanks in advance for taking a look.

Hello. It seems that the servers are down. PFPX cannot update weather, check license or program version etc. anything at all.

When I plan flights in Europe it's obvious the correct policy to use is EU-OPS. But which should I use for North America, Australasia and other parts of the world? When does ICAO get used?

I went to plan another long flight today and get a message saying the upper wind validity of the forecast is not appropriate. This type of thing has been going on a lot of lately and i cant plan any flights..... It is very frustrating, any idea what on earth is going on with this once very reliable programme?

Hi Everyone. Checked the forum and didnt find anything about this. Where is the setting for the world map aspect ratio? (main map and route editor as well) this amateurish looking map aspect that reminds the 4:3 to 16:9 change days is mega annoying especially if you want to reconstruct recent flights from Flightradar for example. all the EU countries appear way out of their proportions, guessing fixes, border crossings etc are much harder like this. why is it like this at all in 2021?

Hello, I noticed a few days ago that the world map specifically when using the route editor (the map appears normally at the home screen) function appears very glitched and is missing a few features to it. (See Below) The boundary and route lines are completely missing making it very cumbersome and irritating when trying to plan flight routes. So far I've tried uninstalling PFPX, updating PFPX to the latest version (2.03), updating windows, updating my AMD 450 graphics card, and updating my boot camp drivers (I'm running Windows 10 on my 2017 Macbook Pro 15") all to no avail. Has anybody else here ever experienced this issue before? What did you do in order to solve it?

Hello all, At work, the operation department publishes a Correction Factor & Performance Factor (Drag/FF) for the B777 fleet twice a year. The Correction Factor is used for fuel planning while the Performance Factor (Drag/FF) is used for FMC. In essence, they both match to ensure the flight plan and FMS are using the correct Drag/FF data. One of the B777 I am using has a correction factor as (-0.7) in which, when looking at the IDENT page in the FMS of the real aircraft, it shows as (Drag/FF = 0.0/-0.7 >>> which I also got it to show in the PMDG FMS as well). Hello All, I have a question about displaying ICAO Item 19 (Supplemental Information section) of the flight plan in the correct format. In the first attachment (its a real OFP), you can see how Item 19 is displayed as per the rules in 2nd attachment however, in PFPX, there is no selection available. 1). The only way I can insert the rest of Item 19 information is if I input that in the RMK/ section within PFPX, Aircraft Editor Configuration tab. Today installed the CRJ 900 version based on a previous installed CRJ 700 - after having a successfull installation ( and removed the CRJ700 from the Community folder) and setup I experienced CTD just after t/o raising the gears....how can we explain that? I have seldom CTD, maybe 1-3 times before since august 2020 so I am very surprised. Any help appreciated! Åke

I would like to address the developer of PFPX. There has been no significant changes or updates for around 3 years now. As a paying customer, I'd like to know if or when there will be any future plans or updates. MSFS 2020 has been out for 3 months now, and I'd like to see official support for it and not have to use some hacks or tricks to get it to work with it. As expensive as PFPX is. I and others would like to know what's going on. Don't keep your customers in the dark. Thank you.

They told me that the problem was with the issue of the subscription to the meteorology ... but, it turns out that I bought a subscription ... and I still have the same problems ... the program is blocked ... and I can't so it works. Sometimes it works ... but many times it doesn't ..... I think it's a problem they have to solve .....

Let's say I plan a route that has a constant speed from NUMBR to KETID. I see the following on the OFP: And the relevant section in the OFP is this: <&SpeedChange_Begin>*** CRUISE AT <&Speed> ***<&SpeedChange_End> The issue is that when I get to KETID, there's no indication in the OFP that I'm able to resume ECON speed or whatever the new speed is. Can the <&SpeedChange> section be called more than once in one OFP? If so, I can't figure out where to put the second call. Or is that not the right way to display the end of a speed restriction?
