Hello, i never used PFPX much since Simbrief is a lot easier but PFPX is more detailed and etc. I fly a lot of companies from different continents and i always try to use the real OFP format. The problem is that i have OFP format from some companies but im not experienced in creating the formats and fuel policy for PFPX and i would like to know if someone is interested to bring more OFP format for community. I tried to make my own Lion Air OFP format but the navigation log is really a mess. I have OFP format and fuel policy for WizzAir, Lion Air, Citilink, Cebu Pacific, Batik Air, Sriwijaya, NAM Air, PIA and Nok Air. Message me on discord if…

My Professional Flight Planner X program cannot start after updating the navigation data of pfpx_2213.exe, and when I open PFPX, it prompts that the program is not responding. May I ask how to solve it, I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it, but it was not satisfied. I also tried to reinstall the navigation data and VC_redist.x86.VC_redist.x64, but it was still unsatisfactory.

Hi all I am trying to create a new OFP template. Fist page went OK all data is displayed as I wanted in the PFPX OFP Next step was to create the flight log. I have made the entries in the attachement but something must be wrog since when I try to select the newly created OFP, PFPX freezes and I got the out of memory message. Hello, maybe someone here can lighten me up why PFPX is telling me it doesn't know an airway when it specifically knows it. In detail I'm planning a flight from NTAA to VHHH. I wanted to use this route: OPERU G224 TUT B577 FA A584 NI A578 PNI A222 UNZ M501 NOMAN Now comes the difficult part: between NI and PNI, PFPX claims that airway A578 is "unknown". However, on the map it clearly shows it existing all the way up and I can't see how it wouldn't work: If I try to create this airway manually using "User Waypoints & Airways" it says: "Airway already exists". Sorry if this is a basic question. I planned a flight that includes a long west-bound stretch though Algeria and Morocco on airway UA411. The aircraft is a B744. PFPX planned an altitude of FL410 for that part, and I'm having a bit of trouble understanding why that altitude was chosen. A non-RVSM altitude should be either FL390 or FL430 for that part, while RVSM should be FL400, unless I'm mistaken, which may be the case. I was flying at FL410, when (through RealTraffic) I noticed an actual real-world aircraft at my altitude heading eastbound on the same airway, also at FL410, which would be the appropriate altitude for eastbound traffic using RVS…

I was working on flight planning and it seems the servers are down again, anyone facing the same issue?

Being a casual simmer, I mostly use freeware when I can. Made this script to get data directly from the NOAA service and export it to PFPX. Might possibly be useful too in the future if the official server shuts down... It has some limitations compared to the native service (accuracy far from airports due to import format and for computing whole flight performance i.e.) but it gets you the basics. You can find it on the avsim library.

Ran into a problem with PFPX (v2.04) hanging while trying to calculate a manual route. I tried calculating a Concorde route in a newer AIRAC as follows: LINND 3952N06815W 4025N06700W 4307N06000W 4510N05230W 4554N05000W 4810N04000W 4926N03000W 4949N02000W 4941N01500W LULOX ASRAX ABDUK NUMPO NIGIT OCK I also tried it using a route from KJFK to LFPG. The routes build fine. When I go to calculate them, PFPX hangs a majority of the time I try. Anyone else have this issue?

Hello, I'm trying to understand the Company NOTAM feature of PFPX. So far, I have managed to create a Company NOTAM, for example in EHAM, by creating a NOTAM ID (in this case EHAM01), selecting the validity period and it shows up correctly whenever I plan a flight into or out of EHAM. However, there's also a window for "Airline/FlightNr". I tried creating NOTAMs with this window with KLM or KL (Airline) and KL736 (FlightNr). But those NOTAMs do not show up under the company information section below the NOTAMs. So, what is this option for? I imagine that if I wanna fly into/out of EHAM for example that I want certain NOTAMs to be visible w…

Hello, I have a question about the flight level change. I was planning a flight from LFPG to LPPT and I found that I needed to descend from FL350 to FL230 at waypoint DEVAR. I think the TOD should be at/around waypoint VIS (when comparing it to real world flights). Naturally, when I was doing the flight, I didn't start my descend until I was near ABETO. So why is PFPX telling me to start my descend way too early?? I've attached a copy of my flight plan as well for your reference. UAL6887.pdf

Hello I can't update PFPX via Navdata Pro to current airac which is 2208. PFPX shows 2207. This has never happened before so I'm little bit confused. Any ideas why this is? Thanks, /Amir

I'm looking for a way to create a NavLog on the OFP from the redispatch destination airport to its alternate. I can find the distance, fuel burn, time, and ATC route from the redispatch destination to its alternate, but I can't find tags to delimit a NavLog section.
