    • Route number four: VECC-VHHH-Hongkong City Tour   VECC-VHHH   Picture 1: We WILL NO...Hmm, where…where…where…?! Picture 2: Autoland test OK. Picture 3: Fuel filling on the move. Picture 4: APU coming up… Picture 5: ...meanwhile pax border. Who are they, who volunteer for this? Picture 6: Configured for Takeoff RW01R Picture 7: Ready for push and pull stand 56. Picture 8: Push stand 56. Picture 9: Fuel on and engines starts up. Picture 10: Push and pull ended. TWY Delta straight for RW01R on the lefthand side. Picture 11: Crossing RW01L Picture 12: Holding RW01R Picture 13: We're not alone here. Picture 14: VR VECC RW01R Picture 15: VECC SID SUMAG2E is flown to day. Picture 16: Just cleared for FL250. Picture 17: Beautiful flying weather during climb out. Picture 18: Passing over the Meghna River delta at FL330. Picture 19: Burma’s (Myanmar) "Green Roof" seen from FL330. Picture 20: Cleared for FL350. Picture 21: Nice MD82 selfie. Picture 22: Over the South China Sea at FL350. Picture 23: Decent initialized into VHHH. Cleared for STAR CANTO3A RW07R. Cool 3D feeling gliding down through the clouds. You can even feel it a bit in this pic. Picture 24: Cleared down to FL250. Picture 25: Cleared to establish VHHH ILS RW07R. Nice and after the book until now…but… Picture 26, 27 and 28: …suddenly VHHH approach redirect me and a small band of AC to vectors for ILS RW25C. This will mean an 8 kt. tailwind landing. To “compensate” that we actually get a short 3000 ft. scenic overfly of some Hongkong City areas. Picture 29 and 30: Established final ILS RW25C. Our small redirected band of AC are a bit squeezed together here on RIVER left turn to final. Picture 31: G/S capture. Picture 32: Just like out of the mists of Avalon… Picture 33: Final VHHH RW25C. Picture 34: The RW run out was not that long despite the 8 kt. tailwind. Picture 35: Stand D216 assigned. It’s this way. Picture 36: Stand D216 is over there. Picture 37: Parking checklist complete VHHH stand D216.   Greetings,   Jan Flicker
    • A perfect IFR flight with native ATC,  native FlightPlan, real weather and of course Aerosoft DHC-6.  Princess Juliana Intl to Bradshaw Intl   TKPK MULLT2 ZPATA TKPK  FP Distance: 62NM Cruise Altitude: 11000ft Enroute Flight Time is 26 minute Expected Arrival at TKPK expexted by 19:34 18:43   (UTC) Parking 13 Cockpit Preparation. Note:  QNH is set  automatically (minor bug) . 50% fuel,  94% weight 18:54  TAKEOFF  19:15  Cleared to instrument approach RNAV rwy25: NOVAR  4000  UDGEL 2500 RADAT 2000 then Visual to Rwy 25    Minumums at 1000 BARO Threshold altitude 168ft (Attached outdated Approach Chart !)    My own developed application at 19:22 UTC shows the aicraft before turning to UDGEL   Landing at 19:36 after 53 minutes in flight, distance actually covered 92NM, Fuel Used 394LB, Average Fuel Flow 510 LB/H  The DHC-6 is spot on on everything in terms of performance.  Just a bit too difficult to maintain speed and rate of descent with throttle with flaps deployed.  Fantastic!
