ich habe folgendes Phänomen:

Ich habe (wie eigentlich sonst auch) den neuesten AIRAC Cycle über Aerosoft und NavData Pro gekauft.

Um den Fenix A320 / A319 / A321 zu updaten, wähle ich wie sonst auch als Ziel die ProSim SQLite Datenbank 1.28b (ggf. Oder so ähnlich) aus, helfe dann noch ein Bisschen beim Zielpfad nach (… /Fenix/…) und schon fliegt der Bus mit den neuesten Navigationsdaten.

Spannender weise habe ich damit allerdings in letzter Zeit folgendes Problem: Das MCDU erkennt den neuesten AIRAC Cycle, allerdings habe ich das Problem, das auf einmal das EFB beim laden des Flugplans und bei der Berechnung der Performace Daten eine Fehlermeldung im EFB erscheint, dass das EFB den Runway-Daten nicht laden kann.

Meine Vermutung: Das MCDU erkennt die neuen AIRAC-Daten, das EFB nicht. Als Pfad gebe ich den normalen Fenix Ordner ein, der dann (soweit ich das sehen kann) den Ordner NavData aktualisiert.

Lösche ich anschließend den NavData Ordner wieder und starte die Fenix Ap, wird der Ordner neu erstellt und sowohl MCDU als auch EFB erkennen die Navigationsdaten wieder - allerdings natürlich zum Stand Mitte 2023.

Hat Jemand eine Idee wie ich das EFB dazu bewege, die Navigationsdaten auch zu erkennen? Weil ohne die Runway-Einträge keine Performance-Kalkulationen….

I wanted to renew my access to the NavDataPro Charts and realised that the one year access is not available anymore. I think there was also a three month access which is not existing too. I could use the one month access but it costs almost ten euros while I payed around 65 euros for the one year access a year ago. Therefore, the price has roughly doubled if I would go with the one month access over and over.

Are there any plans to bring back the one year access version? Three months ago Tom from Aerosoft confirmed that there are still updates planned regarding NDP (https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/175734-suggestions-for-improvement-chart-viewerairac/) but in my opinion the take down of the one year access is not quite expedient.

Firstly, thanks for offering this product. It really is a welcome change within the very Jeppessen-influenced flight simulation world.

However, using the product for quite some time now - both the chart viewer and AIRAC - and seeing what Navigraph has to offer somehow makes me a bit thoughtful, as to why no development is happening on NDPs end.

Let me make a list of some of the things that I noticed, and which, I think, would be great to improve:

• Dark Mode: In principle: Great feature. However, some of the colours are off thus far, as I would see them as a real safety risk when flying. For example: Have a look at the EDDF AGC Chart: N8, for example, has coloured lines. There is N8 Orange and N8 Blue. In the NDP Charts, however, in dark mode, these two colours are turned around. See the following video (of the real mPilot): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7i3SYpwyhA. Generally, most of the dark colours aren't as dark as in NDP. Would it be possible to brighten all of that up a bit?
• Chart-Revisions: If there is a Chart Revision, both of the Charts, so both the old and the new are displayed within the NDP Charts APP for quite some time (beyond the actual effective date), for example, see multiple current EDDL Charts. As this isn't indicated anywhere within the Charts APP, except on the Chart itself, this also is perplexing, and basically, it's a "hit-and-miss". And also, the new chart isn't always above the old chart, or below the old chart. No, it seems to be some random thing determining which chart is on top...
• SID-Charts: For Airports, with complex SID Setups, the SIDs are on one chart. This, however, can also be rather confusing at times, as many SIDs are on one chart. The real mPilot displays only one SID per Chart, and "darkens" the other ones, see also the Video I referenced above. Would it be possible to also get such a feature?
• Geo-Referenced Charts: I remember that one time, it was already possible to have Geo-Referenced Charts on the IAC with P3D; however, I can't find anything to that any more. Was the development of that feature abandoned? Could this be continued with P3D and also the AGC/APC Charts, where it also would be a great asset? 
• En-Route Charts: Right now, we have multiple En-Route Charts we have to open up, and so on. Would it be possible to get a En-Route Moving Map, similar to the one Navigraph uses, and similar to the real mPilot?
• AIRAC: The Fenix A320 released approximately 10 months ago. There still is no NDP AIRAC available. Why is that so? Only very minor adjustments to the ProSimSQLLite AIRAC would be required, but still, do you not want to take these to support one of the most important products within the Flight-Simulation World currently? And also, the general MSFS AIRAC is also not supported, talking about that. Do you want to abandon this simulator completely concerning this product?
• The Mobile APP, at least from my experience, the iPad APP, and from stories also the Android APP are way behind their PC counterparts. Is there any update planned to also support Dark mode, and to fix the numerous bugs, which have already been mentioned in other threads?

I think that's it for the first part. Seeing what Navigraph offers, for basically only 6 Euros per month* more, (!) makes me sorrowful, as I was always a big fan of all the LIDO products, however, seeing that nothing is happening here, I will have to think how I will continue regarding this product after my subscription expires. 

*Disclaimer: I fully see that comparing the prices here does not make much sense, as probably you and Navigraph obtain the root-material at different prices, however, Navigraph also only had a minimal price increase after releasing all of their new features within the Chart Apps, while your Chart Viewer basically is nothing much more than a glamorous PDF Viewer with a Dark-Mode Plugin. Sorry, for having to say that, but it really is the case at the moment. I could basically buy a one-day subscription for all the charts at the beginning of each AIRAC, print them to PDF and organize them myself, and would basically have the same product, perhaps even with less annoying bugs, at least on tablets.

I have recently purchased and installed NavDataPro in my X Plane 12 instance.

While the navdata works fine, X Plane is giving the following error:

Custom Data/1200 atc data/Earth nav data/atc.dat

However, the file exists and reinstalling the data didn't help either.

Taking a look at the Log_ATC.txt file revels several issues, even though these do probably not cause the issue, as I have seen similar log entries with data from another competitor and don't get this error message.

The log.txt file shows the following error:

As this is the only other error regarding this file, it is most likely the cause of the error message.

I hope this issue can be resolved.

It's been 3 months since the last dataset.  I received an email stating the new dataset is available, but is not showing in the client software.

I bought "NavDataPro - Single dataset", I do not know why I still get the old cycle 15OCT11NOV/15 even though I updated the cycle using NavDataPro, I have put the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX, but I get no cycle update.

NOTE: My Flight Simulator is "Flight Simulator X Steam Edition". Also note that I bought Aerosoft Airbus A320/A321 Add-On in Steam on 2 Jan 2018. I do not know if the Aerosoft Airbus A320/A321 Add-On I bought in Steam caused this issue.

FSLabs A320-X packages (FSX but also P3Dv4 and P3Dv5) that were uploaded today (cycle 2309) for the FSLabs A320 do not contain any data, except the cycle_info.txt file

Seems that these packages have been corrupted

ich habe im MSFS 2020 PMDG Boieng 737 600/700 installiert. Beide Modelle lassen sich einwandfrei fliegen und sind im MSFS 2020 im Cummunity Ordner installiert.

Beide Modelle werden bei dem Versuch die aktuell bei Aerosoft gekauften und bezahlten NAV Daten zu installieren vom "NavData Pro user Interface" nicht gefunden.

Ausgewählt wurden der Button FS MSFS und in der Auswahl PMDG. Angezeigt wird: Keine Add-Ons gefunden.

Auch in der Auswahl "All" werden keine Add-On für PMDG und den MSFS angezeigt.

Vielleicht kann mir jemand hier helfen. Wäre sehr schön. Auf mein vor drei Tagen aufgemachtes Ticket bei Aerosoft ist bis jetzt auch noch keine Antwort gekommen.

Ich habe den aktuellen Cycle für die iFly 737 in Prepar3d v4 installiert und daraufhin lässt sich das Flugzeug nicht mehr laden. Prepar3d schließt sich ohne Fehlermeldung von selbst. Beim Zurücksetzen auf einen alten Cycle funktioniert wieder alles normal. Das Ganze auch mit einem erneuten Download versucht - wieder dasselbe. Bitte um Support!

Is there a chance that one day you will release historical non RNAV/PBN chart? Unfortunately(fortunately IRL) most airport no longer have radio based SID/STARS. Most of them required PBN which you need an aircraft that has an FMC along with its equipment requirement.

This makes the DC-8 less exciting. I missed old SID where you have to intercept certain radial at a certain distance

I think it would be nice to have the gui updated to a more modern format.

XP 12 has been out for a while now and no changes regarding NDP, i know that it is just a matter of redefining path but then it gets a bit messy if you own the two platforms.

Just a quick question:

I recently bought the NavDataPro pack just for the sake of Aerowinx PSX and installed it. Let's say I'm pretty satisfied with the product Aerosoft is providing!

But unfortunately I've run to some issues with the accuracy of the database. For example DME Arcs of ASNIT1P for OISS and RIBUX1P for OIMM are not presented correctly and the Arc is incomplete.

Attached files are presented to help pinning down the problem.

I just wanted to start a flight with the PMDG 747-400 from Mega Airport Frankfurt 2.0 to Miami Int.

When loading the flightplan (.rte-file generated by Simbrief) the classic RWY N/A- error occures on the fmc incl. all that stuff with no SID and departure runways.

So far so good, i tried out all the solutions i could find on the pmdg and other forums, but nothing works out. I reinstalled the airplane and the airport addon, used makerwys.exe, deleted the ARPT_RWY.dat file.

It is a bit frustrating. This problem occures on several airports.

I was just wondering if anyone at aerosoft still cares about their NDP product? At least providing their customers the service they've paid for would be nice...

It's been a while since I reported an annoying bug with the android chart app (see my other post) and there haven't really been any actions or updates. That bug pretty much makes the app so extremely unuseful that I am even starting to think about switching to another chart service with an at least decent working app.

I would appreciate if the customers' concerns would be taken a bit more seriously.
