Hey Aersoft & Everybody else! I just bought the Airbus X Extended this evening, and was super excited. Been waiting for a long time. So I was lucky enough to get the download quick enough, picked the European Server and started downloading. Download finished and Google Chrome told me that the file was "evil" or contained some malware of some sort. I thought, nah, it's Aerosoft - and proceeded. So I ran the installer, and once i've typed in my regristration and told it to install. Hi, just bought the upgrade for the DVD version from the aerosoft shop, but: -the VC texturing of the main panels have changed into a brighter blue, almost greyish. Is it possible to installed the old textures from the base pack? I loved the base version but the new texturing doesn't look that good -I'm using the air file mod: http://forum.aerosof...08f2-no-fsuipc/ however the upgrade either replaced it with a new one or installed the old one, means that I have difficulties to control the plane. Is there a way to get the mod running with airbus extended or do we have to wait for a new version of the mod?

Hello, First of all, thank you for this great aircraft, certainly x-mas is here Now I am not sure if this is a bug or am I doing something wrong, I have the bus started with no warnings displayed, upperhead clear, however I cannot increase throttle, not with the joystick nor with the kebyboard. In the right MCDU, when saving or loading a user state in aircraft state when using full screen mode in FSX in Windows 7 64 bit, the whole screen turns black.

So my saying that when i was in cold and dark mode,my engine are still running ( only happens sometimes but is MOST OF THE TIME) And i would like to request a more detail fmc tutorial please? And is it possible to fly with only sids and stars and without those waypoint? As i cant enter some waypoint as its not found in the database. Hi, As a past purchaser of Airbus X I was very disappointed with some aspects, like the hand flying problems, once the AP was disconnected on approach, and the fact that CLB mode was really just using the autothrottle to maintain 250kts, rather than using fixed N1 reference and adjusting pitch. Anyway, upgraded to Airbus X Extended today and I am delighted to say that this bird is now looking and flying amazingly! Very good product now, and the best Airbus around by a mile now! Hello once again, A bit of an issue I encountered, during dusk/night whenever I turn on the flood light form the pedestal, some of the knobs on the overhead disappear. I'm not using DX10 preview mode, and I have Palit GTX 680 4GB, if this helps. Thanks in advance for your input! Michael.

This is just a heads up to those who have saved the FSX default flight in ANY aircraft with engines turned off. For some reason if you do the start procedure in the Airbus Extended, engines will not start regardless if conditions are met. Even selecting Taxi-ready state preset in MCDU will not start engines. I had to load up the default 737, Ctrl+E... then load up the Airbus Extended, and select Cold/Dark preset. Did the same exact by-the-book procedure and engines start normally. Hopefully this will save some time to others since I scratched my head for quite some time

Does Aerosoft offer refunds? I just bought the a320 Ext and it just isn't my thing, a refund especially around this time of year would be great! If not no problem I understand, thank you.

Whenever I attempt to tune to another frequency on either of the Radio Stacks, it doesn't respond. I can turn it on or off, but I can't swap the actives and tune to a new frequency. The animation on the knob is moving too BTW. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, just started my first flight with this machine (wonderfully modelled by the way). While I was flying a SID from EHAM, FSX stopped working, unfortunately. This is the first time this ever happened (apart from the early uiautomationcore.dll ctd's, which were solved) and is most likely related to Airbus X Extended. My .cfg is tweaked with Venetubo, and I am using Win 7 64 Ultimate, FSX is NOT installed in the standard folder. Next issue for me. I have no Info Bar like described in point 4.6.3 in the step by step pdf. I set checklist to on, co-pilot to on and info bar to on. I guess therefor is the cockpit prep not available in the other checklist menu..... Where should this Info bar be shown in the cockpit, i don't get it.....

Hi, when our VA received the announcing mail that sale will start today I was very happy. As mentioned in the mail our VA sent a list of interested members to the Zendesk link provided. But by now there is no reaction on that, even the message status is on "This request is awaiting assignment to a help desk operator" state.
