Scenery General (X-Plane 12/11)

I recently purchased Aerosoft EDDL thru steam site.. after installing, i noticed that the scenery overlaps with some other (default?) scenery and i can see buildings, control towers and gates are all duplicated and overlapping.. Look at the attached pic which shows overlapping gates, static aircraft, etc. I have X-plane 10.42.. I also installed EGLL, which is perfectly fine.. thanks Vinod.

Hi, I have failed to track a response using a search for this problem. Previously I had installed X-plane via DVD and downloaded a number of airports from aerosoft website. Having had to stop 'flying' for a while I had deleted everything form the IMac only to recently return to my hobby. I couldn't find my DVD's so opted to download X-plane 10 from steam, which went successfully. However, having re-downloaded my Dublin airport for X-plane it won't install advising I don't have permission to install it. Additionally, I have tried to locate the X-plane folder on my IMac but can't find it. Can someone please advise …

I bought the scenery yesterday, and it looks great. Just have two issues with it. I get the, " Could not load objects from.... Scenery may not look correct" message when loading into the airport. From what I could tell anyway, nothing looks wrong. Attached is my log.txt. The other issue is when on the rwy, appears to be wave like lines that show up. Great work on the scenery. Log.txt

Hi Guys, I posted in X-Plane, but hoped someone here may know the answers too. On the world scenery map I have Selected the UK/Europe, and it has been installed. I've popped the Airplane location on as Heathrow, which as I understand (with the DVD's) came a very comprehensive format of Heathrow. But when I load it up, I get some grey tarmac, green fields, and that's about it. I can select any of the gates, but I still get the same grey tarmac and grass. Hello, I have tried to reinstall 3 times and have had the same luck all 3 times. As you can see my settings are more than high enough to see static aircraft. I've also noticed that the file system isn't the same as other Aerosoft scenery. It seems the 'objects' folder isn't there this time. I have OpensceneryX to the latest update also. I'm currently making the promotional video for this airport and I'm sure Aerosoft does not want to advertise their scenery this way so any help would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to remove static aircraft at Aerosoft BIKF in XPlane 10.40. Strange though loading scenery in WED or OverlayEditor does not show them. Are there static aircraft at BIKF, and if there are how do we remove them? Thank you. Cheers

Trying to install Amsterdam Airport scenery but always says i am not chosing the correct folder, my other scenery packs installed ok. Could someone tell me which folder i should select please. Using xplane 10

Hello, I am trying to install my copy of Lugano airport for X-Plane 10 but I keep getting the error message 'Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported'. I have tried to follow the solution that the error suggests (see attached screenshot) but when it asks me to select the route X-Plane folder, I cannot find the second hard drive that my copy of X-Plane is installed on. I am running Windows 10. and installing Lugano V111. Any advice you may be able to offer would be appreciated.

I cut my Scenery Autogen and Vegetation sliders to Dense but still getting CTD. Would like to know what settings everyone is running this on?

Hello, Z41 Lake Hood Strip (which is a contained small airport in our Aerosoft Anchorage PANC Airport package), there is a problem, that in many ramp starting positions are static aircrafts parking. This means that often the static aircraft is positioned into the own airplane, which looks very ugly. I have programmed a few Exclusion Zones for static aircraft on Z41, standing nearby ramp positions. So nested aircrafts will disappear.... Installation: Unzip the downloaded ZIP file, and copy the folder "Aerosoft - panc aa Z41 Lake Hood Strip-Static-Excl" in the Custom Scenery folder. Greetings! Excellent work on all X-Plane related products! I am sure you have heard from Ben Supnik that X-Plane 10.40 is less than 2 weeks away from an official release. In the current beta (10.40b10) EGLL London Heathrow is showing an error as soon as X-Plane launches: "There was a problem loading the scenery pacakage: Custom Scenery/London Buildings expanded/ This scenery may not look correct. Please see the log.txt for detailed error information." I have attached my log.txt for your records. I purchased Amsterdam Schipol for X-Plane 10 yesterday, it downloaded fine, no problems at all apart from installation. When choosing a path eventhough I have the correct destination in the address box it says "choose the correct path", I have the run compatibility mode for windows 7 ticked but this doesn't fix the issue. I am currently lost as to what to do?

I recently download and installed hd mesh v3 for Uk and Europe and the new version to me does look better except for some annoying video artifacts appearing on roads and rivers, also buildings viewed from a height are not stationary but jiggle around a little. Not every road or river is affected though on terrain. According to what i've read V3 can be taxing on the system but what I have is nearly new. AMD8350, ASUS R9 290, ASUS SABERTOOTH M/B AND 16GB RAM. FSX runs smoothly and flawlessly, this problem did not occur when I was running HD MESH V2. Heinz Starting a new topic Problem was I had another static airport file for EGHI between the two aerosoft files, removed the EGHI and works 100%. Written to the developers of the EGHI software to ask if I can put a prefix letter in front of the file, thinking about it could I have done this with Heathrow? Regards
