Aerosoft A340-600 Pro

Hello, I am experiencing a consistent CTD when taking off from Madrid Barajas (LEMD), specifically from runways 36L and 36R, using the Aerosoft A340-600 in MSFS2020. The crash typically occurs shortly after takeoff, during the initial climb. Paused at TOD, cleared the pause in the EFB and I couldn't change the ALT setting to start the descent. All other knobs and buttons seemed to work, just the ALT would not change. Any ideas?

This happens almost every single time I take the A346 on a long-haul flight. Here’s what goes on: I enable TOD Pause, then step away from my PC, expecting the plane to cruise automatically until the Top of Descent. But before long, the game just freezes up. Every time I come back after a few hours, all I find is a completely unresponsive game, which really ruins the experience. What’s more, this only happens with the A346. By the way, this TOD Pause function isn’t very user-friendly. I don’t quite get why it has to be bundled with Alert Pause in the same option. All I need is the TOD Pause feature — I don’t want the whole game to pause just because of some minor alert…

Is there anyone update on the freezing up of msfs2024 with the aerosoft A340? I do not have this issue with any other fleet. Just this one.

Hi guys! First of all thank you so much for bringing this beautiful aircraft to MSFS. I was waiting for years and finally I can fly and enjoy it in my beloved Sim. None the less, there are some bugs I would love to see fixed, to maximize the experience with the A346: Note: all of the Bugs below apply to MSFS2020. Since I do not own 2024 I can only tell about 2020. When spawning in to the flight and powering up the aircraft all flood lights are on maximum and the Displays are on low brightness (as if it would be nighttime), no matter at what daytime. Therefor it would be nice if the default position of lighting would be "off", or respectively a possibility to save my own…

Hello, I recently purchased the aerosoft A340-600. I activated it in FS2020, and recently have switched to MSFS2024. However Activating the Aerosoft I receive this. S When I uninstalled the plane from FS 2020 Im very sure I deactivated it. Any information is greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I have to say, I find it really disappointing that we STILL to this day have no external MCDU or any other hardware working for the a340-600. I find it really poor form. This is on Aerosoft. Shape up, give the hardware developers (WinWing/WingFlex etc) all info they need ASAP to get the hardware to work with the A340-600. You have been working on this plane for a long time. Plenty of time to plan for this. Shipping off the info to the hardware developers, not that difficult. Is it?

GCTS But at any other demanding airport, I get like 35fps (17fps RAW) with crazy stutters. Third screenshot is at WSSS. Before importing I was doing 90fps. I have tried reinstalling 4 times, along with clearing WASM plenty of times.

The simulation pause functionality offers the Freeze All choice supposed to freeze time but it actually do not. Disabliing the freeze all return the simulation to the, since pause was initiated, elapsed time. Another functionality that looked promising but do not work properly. Another one is how the sim is blocking ATC from working propely The 80$ sim should live up to the cústomer cost. Mats

What a joyful initial release, thanks Aerosoft/Toliss! One question tough regarding thrust reverser calibration: I use the Saitek X-36 (stick and extra throttle quadrant). As this one doesn't have a reverser axis, I assigned a button on the throttle quadrant to the ingame "toggle throttle reverse" event. This however put's the levers on the throttles instantly to FULL REVERSE, so it's impossible to command the amount of reverse thrust yourself (e.g. idle reverse). Am I missing something here? Hello: Current version of the A-340, FS2020, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Processor, RTX 5090, 64gb 6400MHz RAM, Windows 11 x64. I am having issues with zooming in/out while in the cockpit. Basically if I try to zoom in to see something (keyboard "-" key), it doesn't work sometimes. When I try to un-zoom (keyboard "+" key), that won't work sometimes. Thanks.

I am an MSFS plugin developer. I was unable to find the LVARs related to V1, V2, VR, and VREF for this aircraft. Could you please provide the variable names for these values? Thank you.

First, the format of the OFP for fuel planning is not correct on my EFB. It does not show a table - instead it shows a row for each cell. You can see that in my screen shots of the OFP. Second, when I load the OFP into the EFB I specify to load the aircraft with the OFP values. It does not do that - as you can see from the screenshot of the Weight Balance page after loading the OFP the weights do not match the OFP

Hi, I am using Pushback Helper for pushback which works flawlessly with all a/c. When I start this program with the A346 the pb truck connects but it cannot get the a/c to move. Any change to fix this? Tks Disregard, I did not notice the other thread.

As title suggests, even after the last update the jetway still connecting to L1 door 9 times out of 10. This is not an issue on any other airplane in the sim.

where are the files saved? AFAIK this feature should provide a level of safety when it comes to sim crashes. I just had a sim freeze and could not find any way to reload the autosaved file. it does not apear on the efb selection of saved situations. how can one do that? it seems it did not save the autosave file as stated in the manual because it is not there

Hi Guys! So after buying the A340-600 a few days after the release, I tried loading it into Aerosofts EDDF. After activating the A340, everything was ok for a few minutes, I started to look around the aircraft, especially the cockpit. I got relatively low FPS, sitting around 40FPS, but sitting in a detailed Aircraft at EDDF, that's normal. Or so I thought. While browsing through the EFB, the Sim started to freeze up for seconds at a time, repeatedly. I thought a reload of the sim plus the aircraft after freshly activating might help, but no success. I didn't have much time to keep testing on that day, neither did I get around to it the following days and in the meanwhile …

Hi all, Has anyone had any luck with getting the new a340-600 working with the toolbar pushback addon? I am aware that the aircraft has a pushback option of its own, however the toolbar pushback addon allows me to pushback exactly where i want to be vs randomly guessing where i will end up when using the built in pushback. Currently when i try to use the toolbar pushback nothing happens. Thanks in advance!
