Aerosoft A340-600 Pro

I am enjoying the A340-600 Pro in MSFS 2020 and performed some long-haul flights generally without issues. A problem that I have noticed however is that Auto read-back of ATC instruction (via enabling AI Pilot handles ATC in MSFS) does not work, and I am pretty sure that it is an A340 issue as performing the same flight with no changes in the sim but with a different plane the option works normally. Especially for long-haul flights, the AI Pilot handling radio is quite helpful. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Or is there maybe some hidden option in the plane that I missed? This is a fantastic add-on, i'm very pleased with it but, unfortunately, is the heaviest one as well. It has lots of micro stutters and the performance in my machine drops between 15-25fps. Hope Aerosoft team in future releases will address this like they did with the CRJ for example. Anyone else feeling the same?

After installing A340 ver 1.0.4 I notice that the manifest.json file still points to the 1.0.1 version. Why? It becomes confusing later when I use Addon Linker to identify the correct version number Can i somewhere in the "aerosoft-aircraft-a346-pro" folder find a file that actually tells the true version number? The EFB though tells the correct version Mats

looks like the efb on the capt side isn't able to adjust the screen brightness. however, the fo side efb brightness can be adjusted with the side buttons.

Hello, Not a bad attempt at the A340 but the model rendition is incorrect in the final 7 windows and rear door both on the left and right sides, the windows are slanted up relative to the rest of the fuselage. This should have been picked up from the outset. No issue with the actual flying but the visuals are off. See the photo attached. You may also want to check the left landing gear door that is sticking out of place. See the photo attached. Regards,

The changelog for 1.0.2 says this has been added; however, there appears to be no documentation or clarification of how this will be implemented. Is this a DIY/Mobiflight type fix or do we need to wait for hardware manufacturers to specifically implement something? What even is "the Aerosoft interface"? Many thanks

Hello from Iceland! I am currently stuck @ BIKF after pushback on my ThinkPad P70 mobile sim rig, where I use a Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra controller. Had to remap my rudder/NWS to the right stick instead of using the triggers, which I saw was an issue to be addressed in the upcoming update, but I absolutely and positively cannot move the throttles. No matter what I do. I see some input on the engine display when I press the Increase Throttle button, but it instantly snaps back to idle when I release it. Anyone got an idea what the issue is? Hello guys, So i have a problem with autopilot disconnected after step climb. Some flights the A346 disconnected the AP and climb and sometimes disconnected FD automactally and i need to disconnected the FD and connected again the FD and AP, and set to descend to cruise FL. Sometimes depend for scenery, i need set HDG for route, because the A346 loss the track. The bug is the A346 climb for new FL, but not maintain the new FL. A346 only climb and that's it. Who has this is issue? Best regards.

I believe this is an old update by now since it was one of the first updates after it dropped, After the A340-600 Pro Got the wing flex update for some reason my aircraft would spawn in with the wings like this??? Even after a while it wouldn't fix, sometimes I'll even spawn in with the gears up. I've reinstalled the aircraft plenty of times Via AerosoftOne, But it still has this issue with the wing. is there a way to fix it?? Is there a file I need to remove or anything?? Please let me know so I can fly this aircraft more, I enjoy the product.

Not a crazy issue, but when zoomed in to a given chart, the chart lags a lot, I dont believe this was a problem on initial, though i could be wrong. Video attached for convenience. Lagging Charts.mp4

I think I am making a mistake in the pre-flight, but cannot figure out what it is. I set up my flights without Simbrief. I set payload and fuel in the EFB, and manually transfer the data to the MCDU. I think I have everything set for Imperial units. As it says in the thread title, my managed climb speed comes up set at the green dot speed, instead of 250 knots. I have had many bug-free flights in the A340, and got this problem occasionally. Now with the latest update, I get the problem continuously. Anybody have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Hello, after installation and linking my Navigraph account, the EFB seems stuck on downloading the current AIRAC. Is there any solution to this?

Maximum sim rate is 4X which is too low for long haul aircraft and really an unusual limitiaion for Add-ons Please enable 8X or at least don't block manual attempts to increase sim rate Mats

My activation code cannot be activated on EFB. Even after I sent a new activation code, it still failed to activate. Hi there, found some bugs (no full list 😉) right (FO) ND background dimmer (for weather, etc.) not working dimmer for EFB brightness missing (not a bug, just a suggestion) airway T163 from DITON to KOVAN missing in (the up to date - Navigraph) database (FMC goes direct from DITON to KOVAN with SimBrief import) Don't know if it's Navigraph or the import to the A346 - don't know about other airways, but this should be overall checked again no Capt or FO is shown in the cockpit from the outside view gsx profile (in the aircraft folder) is - sorry - total garbage. I've tried using freeze on WARN/CAUT/TOD a few times now. Every time when I unfreeze the plane after reaching TOD the altitude knob and gear lever no longer work.

As advised by Aerosoft when the update for this aircraft came out came at the end of last week, I attempted to update this aircraft via the 'Aerosoft One' app. The app stated that the version I had was 1.0.0 however when I checked the update drop down in 'Aerosoft one' it stated that there were no updates available. I have emailed |Aerosoft twice since then but so far have heard nothing from them. Any one have any ideas how I am supposed to download this absolutely necessary update?

A340-600 PRO - FS2020 I've tried several times, but it doesn't download the flight plan from Simbrief, like I do with all my other aircraft, and I've correctly entered my ID into the EFB. The MCDU shows "F-PLAN DATALINK IN PROG," but the flight plan isn't downloading. My ID is in lowercase, while the EFB only allows uppercase. I don't know if the Simbrief ID is case-sensitive.

Hi everyone, I just picked up the A340-600 today and noticed an issue with rudder inputs using an Xbox controller. My controller triggers are bound to Rudder Axis Left and Rudder Axis Right. In the cockpit, the rudder pedals animate correctly when I press the triggers, so the aircraft appears to be receiving the input. However, the actual rudder surface and nosewheel steering do not respond, both on the ground and in flight. Because the pedals move in the cockpit but the aircraft itself doesn’t react, it seems like the input may not be reaching the flight control system. Please let me know if this is a bug or something wrong with my settings. Thanks
