But despite all this, one  (or more) engine don’t start or stops immediately.
This can be due to a remaining Mixture binding in the simulator.

When using throttle quadrant with multiple levers, there is great chance
that some of the default assignments include Mixture management.
Mixture is only used for piston engine aircraft, not jets.

However, internally, some simulators or addons use the piston engines mixture function to manage the jets cut-off.

This means that if some lever of your throttle quadrant remain assigned to Mixture functions,
you may have uncommanded cut-off action of one or more engine.

In this case, you need to unbind any Mixture function, usually MIXTURE AXIS.

Simply make a search on "Mixture" in the Controls setup on the simulator and unbind any axis or button you could find.
Don’t forget to save the settings and reload the aircraft.

This utility allows to program your own Bravo Throttle Lights and annunciators in MSFS.
The standard AFC bridge has no user interface and has a built-in lights profile for the default planes only.

Bravo Throttle lights gives access to each light and supports both A: variables and L: variables.

It has been reported that OMSI didn’t always detect the correct inputs number of a given controller.

There is a way to manually set the inputs number by editing the appropriate file.

STEP 1 :
Close OMSI

STEP 2 :

1 - Locate and open the following folder :

     C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\OMSI 2\Inputs

2 – Open the “gamectrler.cfg” text file in the notepad
      NOTE : First make a copy of this file !

STEP 3 :
1 – In the file, locate the “vJoy Device” entry

2 – Under [buttons], set the number of buttons according to what is programmed in the vJoy interface

3 – Add the same number of “0” separate by a blank line

      (in this example, you can see my “blinker_off” setting)

Save and close the file.

STEP 4 :

Start OMSI

Go to Options->game Controller

1 – Select vJoy from the upper-right box

2 – The correct number of buttons should now appear
 

This short video shows you how to find the two main folders of MSFS 2024.

• Enable the Developer Mode in MSFS (General Settings->Advanced Options-> Developer Mode)
• Open the Tools menu
• Open the Virtual File System submenu
• Develop the Packages Folders tab

The instrument panel rotaries, the buttons and switches and all the controls (Yoke, throttle quadrant, rudder, etc.) use these boards.

Assign the TCA throttle levers to THROTTLE 1 AXIS (0 to 100%) and THROTTLE 2 AXIS (0 to 100%)

Generation 1 :
If your module has a "hard-wired" USB cable AND a detachable USB type A female port,
it is Generation 1 and requires the Pen Mount driver.

Generation 2 :

If there is only one detachable USB type A female port then it doesn't require Pen Mount driver.
Touch screen activation panels is performed using the Windows Tablet PC Setttings menu.

NOTE : With the Generation 2 GTN 750 there is a USB 2.0 Type A connection located
             to the left of the HDMI connector, however, at the present time this port
             is unused and should not be connected to the end users computer.

Shorts : USB Cables – What is inside ?

This short information shows the function of each wire in a USB cable.

There are 4 wires inside a standard data USB cable :

RED : +5Vdc power supply

WHITE : Negative voltage data cable (Data- or USB Port -)

GREEN : Positive voltage data cable (Data+ or USB Port +)
BLACK : Ground
There is also a shield all around the cable to protect the data from interferences.



This is how it looks on the connectors. (cable plugs and device connectors)

All the USB data is carried by two cables only : White and Green.

It is a serial protocol, meaning that the numeric info is sent bit after bit on one cable.
The receiver (computer for instance) collect all the bits of a frame to “build” a numeric word that will be translated in a specific value.

WHY TWO DATA CABLES ?
Why 2 data wire if the data only needs one to be carried ?
 
This a protection against electromagnetic interferences.
The data is sent one one wire as +5v (numeric value “1”) or 0v (numeric value “0”)
The inverted data is sent at the same time on the second wire.
When the data is received by the destination device, the data on the second wire is reverted and added to the data of the first wire.

The sum of the legit data (0 + 0 OR 1 + 1) remains the same as the original data sent by the sending device.
But if, during the transportation of the data, an electromagnetic interference  occurs and hits the cable,
both wires will be impacted the same way ( +0.4 v for instance)
So, when the receiving device inverts and add the data on the two wire,
the interference become +0.4v on one wire and -0.4v on the second wire.
The sum of +0.4v and -0.4v is 0v -> the interference in neutralized, while the legit data remains intact.

This is called differential data protocol.
It is a serial RS-485 protocol.
