The vdgs ui always shows "no items to display". The VDGS log also shows:

I uninstalled and reinstalled all 3 dependencies via AO but still nothing works. Also disabling and enabling the streamed airport did nothing. Any help is appreciated. I also contacted support but never got an answer...

Hi,

I bought the Düsseldorf scenery for MSFS2020, but are not able to get the Aerosoft VDGS to work.
When opening the window I get a message that not items is found.

When I open the aerosoft-vdgs-driver and the airports subfolder I can see that the xml file for Düsseldorf is missing.
Is there a way I can get that file so I can use the VDGS in Düsseldorf ?.

Hi,

This has been addressed previously by another user, but nothing has been updated regarding this topic.

If I land somewhere (say ENGM) and then plan the next flight in SimBrief and depart directly without exiting the simulator, I will have no chance to change the flight number in the sim menu. As a result, the VDGS will display the same flight number for my arrival and later for my subsequent departure. In my opinion, it would be better if the flight number could also be edited in the VDGS user interface that I can call up with Shift+V. (The luxury solution, of course, would be if Flight number, TOBT and Destination Airport could be imported from SimBrief, but I understand if this is too complicated to be worth the development effort.)

Hi,

I see that you have previously (in 2022 and 2023) said that you are working on bringing the VDGS pop up-window into the game to make it easier for us VR-pilots. How's the progress on this work now? Having to remove the headset to activate VDGS is such an immersion killer

No VDGS in MSFS 2024 airports

I have installed ENGM, EBBR and ENVA in MSFS 2024. VDGS (SHIFT + V) doesn't recognise the airports.

Is there a bug at the moment?

When I had MSFS 2020 installed I had no problems with VDGS.

I have tried to reinstall all the airports and the VDGS programs, and the airports are installed directly into the Community folder. The same with the three VDGS folders. All are installed directly from Aerosoft One.

Hi all. I need some help. It would be much appreciated.

I am trying to use Aerosoft VDGS in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

I am using Windows 11 Home

I have installed everything using Aerosoft One only.

I have downloaded the three optional dependencies from Aerosoft One.

All the airports were purchased on the Aerosoft Store.

I have restarted the computer multiple times.

“Left Shift + V” opens the VDGS UI menu.

This shows "aerosoft-vdgs-driver" window pop up and displays
"NO ITEMS TO DISPLAY"

It seems there is no airports in RANGE.

This is despite loading up at EBBR, ENGM and NZCH trying all available start locations at the airport.

The "T1 and T2 safe dock systems" seem to be in the scenery but they are blank and black displaying no information.

I'm unable to get Aerosoft VDGS working in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on 11/02/2025 D/M/Y.
I am using the latest version of Microsoft Flight Simulator STEAM VERSION.
I've installed everything using "Aerosoft One" latest version available.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything again as it didn't work the first time.
I do not have any virus protection installed so no AVAST or NORTON or BITDEFENDER is installed.

I have these airports

nzasimulations-airport-nzch-Christchurch
I understand Aerosoft VDGS works with these airports.

It seems there is support for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

I've opened up the file "aerosoft-vdgs-driver-log.ini" with a text editor. In there, set "Verbose=1" and saved the file.

The package name matches the directory name and it is in the same community folder.

The scenery is loading up and working in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 with no problems but the VDGS is not working.
There is nothing displayed on the screens when loading

I have read the user manual found here "Community/aerosoft-vdgs-driver/Manual_Aerosoft_VDGS_Module_web.pdf"

I see there is a post

but it provides no answers as to how they got it working but it indicates it is possible to do so.

I have read everything I could find on AEROSOFT VDGS from GOOGLE searching for answers before posting here.

I do not have Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 installed.

Is is possible to get any help, advice, comments, ideas on how to get Aerosoft VDGS working at these airports ?

For a long time now. Maybe since release of EDDF, I have not been able to use Aerosoft VDGS at any airport. And I have tried reinstalling but nothing happens when I use the keybind.

However funnily enough Nool vdgs also doesn't work for any airports now...could it be related? simconnect?

I've seen plenty of posts on here, but none have solved my issue. When I start up at either EBBR or EDDF I get the same 'No Items to display' message. Any help would be appreciated. Both airports and the 3 VDGS modules all from the contrail store

I installed VDGS-driver and the other dependencies in FS2024. In EDDF Aerosoft, after pressing L-shift+v the small window tells me that no airport is in range. Is there something special I have to do? In MSFS everything works very well.

Is there a proper way to uninstall Aerosoft VDGS?

I'm troubleshooting my sim failing to start, and I suspect Aerosoft VDGS is causing some issue. Is uninstalling Aerosoft VDGS as simple as deleting the two folders within my Community folder? If they are deleted, will Aerosoft ONE recognize it and prompt me to reinstall them when it comes time?

Well, it looks like this issue has something to do with Navigraph Data's interaction after the latest update on 10/1...not Aerosoft VDGS update on 10/1.

Aerosoft VDGS UI doesn't open

The Aerosoft vdgs UI won't open with SHIFT + V.
I Already checked the settings to have selected the keybind SHIFT + V

After that I deinstalled all aerosoft Sceneries (and all other Sceneries with aerosoft vdgs support) and deinstalled all three dependencies. Then I reinstalled all Add-ons including the three dependencies.

I started the MSFS in admin mode. I also tried to manually start the vdgs exe (with and without admin rights) and nothing seemed to fix this issue for me.

It only stopped working a couple of days ago, after a MSFS update if I remember correctly.

YPAD VDGS won't show up

I recently download Impulse simulations YPAD and on their website they explain how to use the VDGS you need the driver, so I downloaded the river and the other 2 files. When I load into the airport an press LSHIFT+V it shows up with 'no items to display'. I don't know if I can't use aerosoft VDGS with this airport even though the impulse sim website says that you need the driver. If there is a way to fix this then that would be great.

Hi. I recently purchased Aerosoft/sim wings EDDM Munich and GCLP Mallorca and so far I am very satisfied with my purchases. Except for the VDGS not working as it should.
I bought them off the Orbx client. I have tried reinstalling both the VDGS driver and airport itself without success, and last night while troubleshooting I noticed that EDDH VDGS is not working either.

Upon spawning in, the VDGS does not display any information, it's just black/dead and does not recognize any simbrief fltpln. When using the VDGS UI menu it works, but not displaying any correct information, except for the time and temperature - but not at EDDH, it shows up on the UI but not displaying information on the APIS. I bought EDDH from the in sim marketplace.
The Orbx client is not updated to 1.7.2. So I downloaded the latest update from Aerosoft One client and no difference, same thing.
I have also tried the fix from a similar thread and nothing.
I have EBBR as well that works as intended. All add-ons mentioned in this post are from Aerosoft or Sim Wings.

GCLA and VDGS

I have a problem with VDGS and the Sim-Wings GCLA scenery I bought through Marketplace. (FS2020 Steam version)

The Marketplace version is displayed with 1.0.2 and should be "Up to date"! (see screenshot)

VDGS reports "No items to display".

Under "Community\aerosoft-vdgs-driver\airports" there is a XML file with the name "simwings_gcla.xml".

It says: packageName="simwings-airport-gcla-la-palma".

But the folder from the Marketplace under "Official\Steam\" is called "aerosoft-airport-gcla-la-palma".

Attached is my "aerosoft-vdgs-driver-log.log" file.

Hi Guys, last Jear i bought in The MSFS Marketplace the Munich scenery. So now the V2 came with the VDGS. I installed today Aerosoft One and the VDGS. Now its nit working and i need help! I have been trying to get the VDGS menu to pop up all day, but didn't manage so far. I tried with the default left-shift+V or changing the keybind and several different gates at Brussels, and made sure the program is listed in the exe.xml. No go so far. Any insight?
