Weird issue with climb/descents when changing altitude

I have done some reading and I can't seem to find an answer to this. Pardon my ignorance if this is pilot error. I am using the CRJ v2 in MSFS 2024 SU4, and when I am dialing in an altitude, either higher or lower, with no other logic modes enabled (either SPEED or VS) the plane will automatically climb or descend. This is especially noticeable on descents from cruise. As soon as I begin dialing in a different altitude from ALTS (in green), the plane will just pitch nose-down. I do not have coupled VNAV enabled in the EFB.

As I understand it, the plane should not begin a climb or descent when a new altitude is selected until a mode is enabled (SPEED or VS). Yes, as soon as I touch the ALT knob, the plane just automatically climbs or descends.

Are there bindings that might inadvertently cause this? A setting in MSFS 24 that I am missing? Any help or insight is appreciated.

CRJ900 DIFF PRESS, randomly popped up. No way of clearing or any working procedures.. Anyone else get this issue?

This might be an old topic, I purchased the CRJ-700, 900. When I started the EFB tablet, I get an error message Simbrief 400 error 400. I cannot upload any flight plans? I reinstalled and still nothing. My Simbrief directory of aircraft also cannot be found in the Simbrief downloader. Thanks

The only problem I have with this product (CRJ V2 MSFS2024) is that every time I try to land there is a WASM crash across all screens. It's really annoying! Any ideas of how to resolve please?

Hi,

There are some fantastic repaints for the V1 CRJ, but when installed in V2, missing the cockpit. I've tried copying the cfg from a V2 but no success.

EFB Dim at Daytime?

During the daytime the EFB seems to dim for me and difficult to see. I found the EFB brightness control and turned it up to 100%, but even then the EFB is still too dim. Is there an auto-dim setting that I am missing? If there a .cfg file or something that I can edit to increase the EFB brightness?

Entire cockpit stops working / freezes / unresponsive

Just bought this plane, three flights and this has happened twice already.

Symptoms: Buttons and switches are clickable but nothing happens when you do. Levers don't move (such as throttle, spoilers or flaps). EFB is unresponsive. FMS is unresponsive. Simulation is still running because aircraft keeps moving. Screens are frozen (clock doesn't move, PFD MFD all frozen)

Cause: No idea. First time was in MSFS2020 and I was setting up the FMS and it randomly happened - This was while inputing departure airport in the RTE configuration page. Second time was in 2024, during flight, during cruise. Was at crusing altitude and speed and was not touching anything. Noticed my speed was a bit high so tried to reduce power a bit and that's when I noticed the cockpit had frozen.

Not cool that 2/3's of the times I've tried to fly this plane this happened. Any idea what causes it?

From what I read, at least 2 people have encountered this also.

Multiple airports in Australia and China not in data base

For some reason many airports in China and in Australia is not in the nav data base.

Did someone experience this issue?

Navigraph Chart Access - lost during mid-flight

I have no issues pulling Navigraph charts up through the EFB but have noticed that once I've been airborne for 10-15 minutes, the charts are no longer accessible. I can still see the titles but when I click on them, they don't load. Any idea what the problem is?

Smoke from engines and oil temperature very low

Hello,

I used the CRJ for quite a while in the MSFS 2024 and had some nice flights.

However, for a few days I have now a strange behaviour: When loading the plane in Cold and Dark, smoke is coming from the engines and the oil temperature sinks to values down to -90.

I already deleted the WASM cache and also reinstalled it via the Aerosoft One. No success so far.

I use the MSFS 2024 from Xbox PC Game Pass.

Any idea what I could do?

Binding the start buttons in version 2

From what I've read,,, these are now B events. Using SPAD.NEXT I've sent a button pushed event B:ENGINE_ASCRJ_ENGS_START_L_KEY_PUSH,,, along with the appropriate release. However, it does nothing. Can someone please point me in the right direction where I can find more information? Thank you

Hello all,

I am new to Aerosoft CRJ and to MSFS2024. Ever since I started to fly it I am havving huge power issues with plane. Usually I am able to get to FL250 Speed is mostly at range of 280 up to 310 tops. If I try to go higher, especially past FL300, My plane will stall for sure even on max power. Today it even stalled at FL250 under full power. It is so annoying that I stopped to fly it all together now. I also must mention I started to fill up to max 20 passengers due to this. Usually I start to climb at 2500 Ft/min and gradually dropping to 1500 just to stay on safe speeds. I am nut sure is it right or not.

I might do something wrong here but stalling constantly is not fun.

I wouls apreciate any help.

FS2024 - SU4, can't update default state from EFB

For some reason, the panel states are always grayed out and I cannot select them, let alone the "default panel state." I went outside the plane once, and jumped back in (control C) and for a split second the options appeared blue, but instantly went to gray again. Is there something I'm missing? Thank you!

IRS alignment not working

Hello.

As I usualy do not have much of free time I decided to set IRS align on instant, but it is not working. after I start battery, turn on hydraulics I then put both IRS swirched into NAV mod, but nothing happens. Is there some bug here, or am I missing something?

Autopilot Doesn't always engage

Scenerio 1: Flight begins at the gate in Turnaround mode. All checklists and procedures are meticulously followed. After T/O,

SPD and NAV or HDG mode are engaged, but AP will not (no AP <- symbol on the PFD)

Scenerio 2: Flight begins on the runway in Ready for Taxi mode. All checklists and procedures are meticulously followed. After T/O, SPD and NAV or HDG mode are engaged. Then AP successfully engages (AP <- symbol on the PFD) and A/C responds as expected.

What could I possibly be doing wrong?

Autopilot Won't Engage If Not Cold & Dark

Setting the CRJ v2 to any other starting state other than Cold and Dark results in the Autopilot refusing to engage. The AP indicator goes red, the AP disconnect alarm sounds, and AP never functions.

Engine start problem

Hello.

Started from today I have problems starting CRJ 700ER engines. I did not have any issues up till today. I have my APU ON and AVAIL, both boost pumps on, ahh hydraulics activated as per checklist. I put continuos ignition on and then I tried to staret forst both engines, foirst right and then left. But, both time I got stuck ar avout 25 N1. WHen I get to 20 I pul fuel valve up (I thionk red one is fuel valve= and then I nudge throttle lever to idle, but nothing happend and engine get stuch at 25 N1. I also tried with recirculation fan on and off aswell as those valves next to it with no luck. TO note, up untill yesterday everythign was fine.

Can someone tell me where is damn work folder exactly and which of two options for Aerosoft CRJ pnah should I use when saving my flight plan?

FLT SPOILER DEPLOYED message

I'm just curious about the systems logic behind the constant caution message on final about my flight spoilers activating. I feel like since it augments the ailerons, it's completely normal and a nuisance message. Could this be a bug? In my times in a CRJ jumpseat, I don't think I've ever seen this constantly popping up.

MSFS 2024 cannot change aircraft state

When a flight is loaded, the aircraft loads in this weird mix of cold and dark and ready for taxi. The engines are started and the chocks are removed. The PFD and ND are off, but the center enngine display is on. I can't change the aircraft state, even when I place the chocks back. I tried reinstalling the aircraft, but that didn't help. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks

Radio buttons in pedestal

Thank you for the new V2. There are some great improvements. However, I can't get the radio buttons in the pedestal turn on/off anymore. They will rotate, presumably for volume, but the in/out positioning seems to have been eliminated. It's the same for all three radio panels. VATSIM now wants pilots top monitor 121.5 while flying, and with the inoperable buttons I can't get it to monitor COM2 while flying. Am I missing a setting?
